Chip aren't bothered about their existing customers. Customers who may have been loyal to them for years.
They've just introduced a savings account paying 5.00% interest.

Not at all. It's new customers only.
For the rest of us it's peanuts.
The answer, thankfully is obvious.

Such an awesome little savings app! +5% on an Easy Access saver? Yeah go on then haha! Literally had deposited my first money in this savings account within three minutes of opening the app and registering. Very smooth

Always been happy with Chip.. up to now.
No B of E cuts this year. Chances are B of E might even raise the interest next week. Now I've had an email to say my rate is taking a massive cut. Sounds like they don't want our money. Hmmm???
Yes we all know they want us to transfer to their new 'Smart isa', but I don't think its very smart that its a lower interest rate than what I was getting. In fact can anyone tell me why its 'smart'? Does it do 4k or play apps? I can't see any reason that its called a 'Smart cash ISA'. The Smartest thing we can do is to move our money to another provider where we get rewarded with higher interest rates. Now that's what I call 'Smart'.

Great experience
I have been really impressed with the communication from the team. I was initially worried about opening an account as it was all on line and I was concerned about this. However I now have 3 accounts and always gain a speedy response with any queries
Huge reduction in their interest rate
Huge reduction in their interest rate, to move you over to their other isa, withdrawals now take a day opposed to being instant, and days wait to speak to customer service!

Just had an email informing me my Cash ISA rate is dropping from 4.16% to 1.02% all in pursuit of forcing me into a new product. No thanks. That’s one way to shoot yourselves in the foot…
What a shame. Chip had a great product before and I was happy.

Very fast and accurate reply to any questions, in my experience under an hour. AND you’re not talking to a BOT, they employ humans!!!!
5***** service!
During my application to open a savings account in the App, an issue arose with the information requested and my bank account details.
This understandably led to the immediate suspension of the newly opened account.
The following morning I was asked to provide further bank account details.
Within 20 minutes of submitting them I had a response and confirmation the account was now active.
Very speedy resolution and thanks to Shel for sorting this so speedily.

Bereavement service is very good but looses a star for generally being difficult to contact for everyday business.
Excellent customer service
Very happy using Chip. App is easy to use. I'm new to investing and it's all made quite easy and have had no real issues. Only problem I have is my 'traditional' high street bank doesn't allow automatic reconnection of my card so I have to keep doing it manually which is a bit of a pain but no fault of Chips.
Have to say their customer service is excellent, any time I've contacted them they respond quickly, explain things clearly and resolve the matter to my satisfaction can't ask for more!

Chip helps with queries with speed and good help
When I had queries about my account with Chip I had an email conversation with their support team.
They were extremely helpful and prompt with their answers and answered each query with clarity and specific guidance on how to use the app.
Their speed and help is impressive. Oh that every financial institution is as good as Chip!

Chip offers good service
I've been with Chip for a few years now and always had good service. I recently forgot to let Chip know that my linked bank card had expired and I had a new card which I should have linked to my account to enable me to make deposits. Lizzy from Chip sent me a little nudge to do this and I was up and running in no time. This is typical of the service offered because if I needed money at short notice I would have to wait until I realised that no linked card means no money!
