No news since I placed my order on October 16, no response via the contact forms or on Instagram. I think the advent calendar will at best arrive in 2026, and at worst I’ll have to kiss my money goodbye. Run away, they didn’t get this rating by accident.

I am changing my review as I did receive my calendar, and the calendar is of lovely quality. It's just such a shame the company had no communication in explaining the delays.

Ordered an Advent calendar and gift set on the 30/09/25 on a pre order. Delivery scheduled for 1st November since then delivery has been delayed twice. The latest email I received has said it will be shipped on the 25th November. I emailed back within 20mins of getting the email asking to cancel my order, but I have yet to hear back (been waiting 4 days on a response). I understand things go wrong and can run late, but the awful customer service, lack of communication and difficulty in getting hold of them feels a bit scammy. They are still advertising the advent calendar for sale, even though they are clearly having problems. Very quick to take your money, but then nothing. It’s a shame, because I really liked their products.

I ordered a birthday gift with 1-2 day delivery. Then heard nothing until a week after I'd ordered to say that they had had an issue with processing my order (though not taking the payment obviously!) and refunded me the shipping fee. Since then (three days ago) I haven't heard anything. I agree that it feels scammy - wouldn't recommend ordering from these guys. Obviously it's now well past my recipient's birthday!
Edit to add: I have emailed this company many times regarding my order and haven't received a satisfactory response. Don't be fooled by this response to my review thinking they'll sort any issue you have

Ordered an Advent calendar 10/10/25 on a pre order. Delivery scheduled for 1st November since then delivery has been delayed twice. Now quoting 25 November for it will be shipped. Running very late for advent! If there is a problem with the order not enough time to resolve before hand now. All feels a bit scammy. All they've offered is 30% off my next order in a generic email which I've been sent twice both time extending the dispatch date... I'm not sure there will be a next time as I haven't got this one yet 50 day after ordering! Still advertising the advent box all over socials.

I ordered two of the advent calendars back in early October for my daughter and a friend. Shipping date 30th October. In mid October received an email stating there was a "small delay" and these would now be shipped 18th November. Lo and behold that date has now too passed by, with no further updates and only a standard template response to my email. Whilst I understand when I first ordered in early October, this was listed as "pre-order", the fact that this is a seasonal item and two shipping dates have already been missed, suggests a massive lack of preparedness! Unsurprisingly the advent calendar keeps appearing in my feeds as "deal of the day" and "Black Friday special"...now with a shipping date of 26th November! Perhaps instead of accepting more orders and taking money from more unsuspecting people, the existing outstanding orders could perhaps be fulfilled and shipped to those people waiting for weeks already? Whilst I can totally understand that problems can occur with manufacturing and shipping, from reading other reviews it is obvious this is affecting a lot of people and has been going on for quite some time, and yet the item is still being pushed all over socials and still available to purchase! The whole experience has been really frustrating and disappointing and now just feels like I've fallen for a scam and waiting for the inevitable "we are so sorry we cannot fulfil your order" email ... probably on 30th November when it will be too late to arrange anything else.

I placed an order on 11/5 which said 2-3 day shipping. I have not received my order and have not been notified that the order has even shipped. I have tried emailing their customer service multiple times over the past 2 weeks with no response. I received an email with a $13 refund with no explanation and that is not my order total so I don't believe my order was cancelled? I understand this can be a busy time but the complete lack of communication is super disappointing.

Loved my pottery set (an unexpected gift) - contains absolutely everything you need to start.
And customer services has been super helpful responding to queries.

Not what I wanted - thought it was a pottery set but just two mugs and paint which means price is unreasonable. Only way to correspond is via their email address. So far sent 4 emails trying to cancel and one email asking for a way to return it. No response. Had auto replies only. Plan to give them a week and then try to get satisfaction via paypal complaints

Firstly love the website and the portfolio of kits available.
It was a bit of a lengthy process ordering the kits with discount codes not working and then the 3 for 2 not applying but the customer service team (Rona) couldn't have been more helpful and was so attentive with email replies and getting this rectified. So after a few failed attempts I managed to order the items I wanted with the discount and I'm so pleased I persevered with it because they look great! I'm excited to gift these to family!
I think if the ordering process with the discounts could run smoother that would have made this alot easier! Plus whilst I appreciate being offered the discounts when things are in the basket it is a bit misleading when they cant be used against the multi kit orders. Other than that, great service from Rona and hopefully the kits will be received well by the recipients! I would recommend this company to friends and family

I bought two paint your own mug sets as a gift but unfortunately they were not opened and used by the recipient for some time as they had been unwell. The paints had dried out and I contacted Pott’d for advice and they insisted on sending replacements free of charge! Outstanding customer service!

My daughter bought the two mug kit, paints and paint pens as a gift for me, for Easter. We had a lovely Sunday afternoon painting the mugs together. Mum and daughter time is so rare with busy schedules, I thoroughly appreciated the time we shared chatting whilst doing such a relaxing, fun, creative activity. We loved the results of our mugs and use them fondly for cups of tea!

I ordered a kit of two mugs to paint with my mum for Mother's day as well as a pack of pens. The delivery was quick, the items were very well packaged & the products were of great quality. We had an overall lovely DIY experience in the comfort of our own home!

Amazing company. I had a piece missing on my kit (nothing major) and they had speedy and helpful customer service and sent me a whole new kit even though I'd used the original one. The service was too notch and they were very easy to contact over Instagram. The kit was also amazing and we loved painting our frames, great quality and such a lovely experience to do with friends

Such a nice and fun activity for a calm afternoon! Enjoyed painting my mug with my sister. Would definitely recommend this activity and would make perfect a gift for a loved one. I chose to paint The Little Prince and am so satisfied of the outcome ! Amazing !

Ordered a couple of kits for a friend's party. Delivery was quick for us, which seems like an issue others have flagged. While the kit comes with a lot, we were disappointed in a few things.

1. The kit did not come with a rolling pin. This seems essential for the kits, especially when the guide uses one. We didn't have our own to hand and it wasn't clear before starting we'd need one. If the kit can come with its own wax grater, it seems like a rolling pin would be feasible? We just couldn't replicate the pot without using a rolling pin.
2. The kit felt a little bashed together. The box has a sign that says to scan the QR code to access the guides, and has an arrow pointing to a spot where a QR code should be, but neither kit had a QR code there. This was obviously missed when the box was made. The wax grater came in separate Chinese packaging, which was odd and felt awkward, as if it had been ordered online last minute and chucked in the box.
3. The video guides are cute, and helpful for visually seeing how to make the pots, but practically very frustrating. Lots of key information was missing. It's tricky to flick between videos when your hands are covered in clay. There are no written guides either, which was what we would have rather had, so we could flick between instructions and not worry about phones. We managed to find a few on the website but they weren't relevant to our kit.

The kits are cute, but we were a group of pretty creative people and none of us could replicate the item or follow the instructions. We ended up making our own creations rather than the intended pot. We felt frustrated throughout and let down. The idea feels good in theory but in practice the product we received had several problems and didn't feel worth the money.

I ordered the mystery box, which on the promotional video on instagram was packed full of items. The contents were a bit disappointing to be honest but having got over that I decided to use the paint a mug set with the spare paints and paint pens that came in the box. A couple of the paint pens were dried up so unusable and the paint set contained a couple of duplicate colours rather than the set on the box. I followed the instructions exactly and within 2 washes the paint was coming off the mug. I got in touch and was asked if I followed the instructions when I confirmed I did I was sent a link to BUY more paints and told to repaint it, recure it and it would be fine?! I spent £99 on the mystery box only for the first kit to not work and be asked to buy more supplies. I had a full list of other items I wanted to buy but I won’t be bothering now!
