One of their drivers (supposedly a professional driver), thinks it’s acceptable to tail gate, undertake and then overtake. Absolutely shocking, and no lights on in nearly zero visibility. Idiot. Phoned their office and advised to put it in an email, then phoned again and a clown told me to report to the council. Yes really. Glad I wasn’t a passenger in this reckless clowns vehicle.

This lot ought to be totally ashamed of themselves. Told my son he was a priority and his taxi would be with him soon ,liars!! 2 hours my son stood in the rain and cold he has special needs so didn't want to call me ,don't get his logic with that but as I said he has special needs and your despicable excuse for a taxi firm left him standing outside in the rain and cold he called me at 1pm distraught!I had to go pick him up!I will be reporting your company bunch of id and I have to be this polite or my reveiw won't be published you can imagine what I really think of you lot why have we not got better options for other taxi firms I will be in touch with the council and anyone else I can think of ,shame on yous!!

I booked a taxi over an hour in advance, to which it was then 20 minutes late, making me late for work (had to get a taxi due to unfortunate circumstances). Also knew I’d have to get a taxi to work the following day, so I booked it the night before. To which it was cancelled by the company five minutes before I was supposed to be collected. Once again, making me ridiculously late for work. I’m not sure how some companies operate but this ain’t it.

Made me, a single woman, with 8% phone battery, wait over 2 hours for a taxi. Couldn’t tell me how long it would be for one and after 2h15 mins I had to get my elderly aunt to come and collect me and take me home even though she can’t drive in the dark. DO NOT TRUST.

Wish I had to choose 0 star for this stupid company . Who has no policy at all. Never ever I am going to get bookings from them ever again. I am so angry with the rude behaviour of the customer services too. I should have gone with other people were reviewing .

Absaloutly shocking! The service is a disgrace drivers make you feel u comfortable the way they speak to you. The call centre is no better and very rude no respect for paying customers and also bumpin bastarts! Stay away your not safe in these cabs

After prebooking my taxi I waited 40mins and still was never assigned one iv now missed an important appointment and now can’t get another until after new year. So thanks to your shitey service I now need to suffer !! Sort it out.

I phoned for a taxi to take me to an appointment,waited 40 mins for car only for my booking to be cancelled by the company. Operator said there where no taxis in my area .I had phoned them to say that due to no taxi coming i had to pay for missed appointment, the person was very rude and said it not company fault didn't i know it was the week before Christmas .

Worst Taxi company EVER pre booking what a joke they turn up when they like and when they do sometimes just drive away even though you are standing there waiting on them I am disabled and my 2 sons are autistic now made us late for 2 christmas events will NEVER be using them again if you need to be on time for an event or god forbid a flight or a train DO NOT BOOK THIS SHODDY COMPANY!

I'm still waiting for a response to my email dated 28th October 2023. Or the follow up email, dated 31st October 2023 - after the same thing happened. Different Driver. Exact. Same. Thing.

*Tonight's Issue*
I don't drive, so my Auntie and Gran are completely reliant on taxis to get home at night. I booked a taxi for them on the app. Driver - picked up wrong person/people - AGAIN - meaning my Auntie and Gran were still waiting in the dark and the cold 50 minutes later. Disgusting. You should be ashamed of yourselves Glasgo Cabs. Fed up with drivers from this company doing this.

It is completely avoidable:
1. When you pull up to collect passengers, ask 'What is the name you have booked the taxi under please?' instead of telling them the booking name.
2. You know the destination taxi was booked for, so when passengers get in and tell you a completely different location, that's another HUGE clue that you've picked up wrong people - at which point you tell them to leave.
It's really not very difficult at all.
I find this behaviour absolutely disgusting. You should be utterly ashamed of yourselves.

Nor did it escape my attention that the hire the Driver did pick up gave a fare of £11. The destinations originally booked for would have given a total fare of between £6 and £8. So a nice wee profit for you, eh? All about the money! As I said, disgusting, but what goes around, comes around my friends - and may it come back to you abundance. Oh, and the same goes to the lovely people who get into taxis other people have booked fully in the knowledge they are doing so.

Wonder if anyone from Glasgo Cabs will reply to my email now 🤔.....

A word of warning - don’t prebook expecting the taxi to show up at that time. All they seem to do is try to allocate you a driver 10 minutes before this time as though you’ve just called. Then you will wait a long time for a driver to be assigned (if ever) depending on how busy they are. It defeats the point of pre-booking. Haven’t used Uber before tonight but they came right away after my pre-booked taxi did not arrive and a driver was still not assigned. Won’t be using GGC again. Really rubbish service. Ended up being over 30 minutes late to an event due to GGC.

I had pre booked a taxi which failed to turn up. Phoned to establish what had happened to be told pre booking is not a guarantee. Some 40 minutes after pre booked time still waiting for a driver to be allocated. Phoned another taxi company who turned up in 10 minutes. Completely unreliable do not use

Glasgocabs is the worst company to use for taxi service. The operators are rude, unhelpful and don’t care about their customers. Will be using uber from now on. Absolutely disgusting service!!!! If dissatisfaction is expressed to the operators they do nothing! Today my taxi driver was cheeky to me because he didn’t know how to use his sat nav to locate the pick up point and told me to walk to his car was at least 15 mins walk away!!!!! I called the operator and they did nothing but say i would get a £5 cancellation fee and they can’t do anything about that.

Terrible customer service and App does not work and i was charged five pounds for the apps error.
App refused my payment multiple times and showed no confirmation, leading me to believe It was not working and I must find another mode of transport. Later to be called by a driver awaiting outside my house after I had paid for a more expensive Taxi from another party and to then be hit with a no show fee of 5 pounds

This company has a few ill-trained drivers with zero respect for customers. A driver named “Evans” in a Toyota is to avoided at all costs . He’s disrespectful and discriminates against customers. He called me “stupid and attributed it to me being black”. I reported to the company and I’m still waiting actions . I have never felt so unsafe. Just putting this out there for everyone to know.

Absolutely shocking service! Booked a cab via the app on Friday 17th Nov for Sunday 19th November. When cab didn’t show operator said they cancelled it 10 mins before pick up time as don’t pick up from Hampden and they only check bookings 10 mins before arrival time!

We pre-booked with app. At pickup time there was no sign of anyone on the way. We phoned and were told a driver would be allocated soon. What is the point of pre-booking if you don't use that knowledge and pre-allocate a driver? We gave an exact pickup time for a reason...

Anyway we had to settle for 'someone will show up at some point'. Then a few mins after hanging up, got a notification saying trip had been cancelled - which we had NOT asked for. Did they go in a huff on us?

Used the app to order a taxi from Glasgow to Stirling. Really pleased with the service and reasonable price

Since the Covid lockdown, I have switched to GlasGoCabs from another provider, mostly because I was working as a bartender until recently, and I needed an AFFORDABLE and RELIABLE way to get home at 1am during weekdays, when there wasn't a night bus, and then also weekends due to First buses cancelling even all the night buses. Even as a woman, I have never had a poor experience, unlike with other taxi providers. I may not be working in a bar anymore, but I still rely on GlasgoCabs on late nights out etc because the estimated price is always accurate (as long as you avoid motorways where possible, (the same as with any taxi company)) and even worth the slight surcharge at the busier times of night.
Tonight, I had Almas driving me home, and he was perfect. I have some severe autistic traits, some of which become more prominent after a drink. He noticed I wasn't a talkative passenger and listened to his own music through one earphone, whilst keeping the radio off. This very much helped my noise cancelling headphones provide an extremely non-triggering journey for me. He carried out my awkwardly asked request to avoid the motorway. And when there were unexpected detours before the drop off point, he very quickly accepted my suggestions to get around them (something not all taxi drivers have done, in my experience). Not many people in customer-facing jobs can adapt so quickly and whether he always drives like that, and I got lucky, or he switched it up for me, he was exactly who I needed to feel safe whilst going home durung the late hours on a Friday/early hours of a Saturday morning.
tldr-GlasGoCabs have remained reliable and affordable throughout the cost of living crisis. Even as a woman, I've not had an uncomfortable experience using the service, especially after they updated the app to include the car's registration plate, within the past year. Also, the surcharges are within a reasonable limit and the late night base price is fair.

Most trusted Really. Pre booked taxi no show no driver allocated don’t turn up and try to charge £5 cancellation fee despite app showing trying to find driver shower of charlatans do not use. Day completely ruined as missed transport connection.
