Family party, at the end of the night my son went home on GlasgoCabs. Unfortunately he dropped his phone in the cab. I phoned the cab office, who located the driver, who in turn returned the phone to my son. The whole proces was quick, efficient and courteous.

Will definitely use again

Absolute robbers. Taxi driver told me to cancel as it is free. Got charged £5 They should be wearing masks 🤬

Taxi did not turn up. We pre booked it too. Nobody answered calls. We missed our flights due to this. Don't use. Do not rely on them.

Poor booking app system. Unfairly charged. Communication and customer service is bad.

Shocking, charged £5 for the driver not being able to locate me even though I was where I said i was on the app, customer service shocking when trying to query it

I think the previous reviews say it all. They've got a monopoly and they simply don't care, my complaints are numerous from drivers pointing at sat nav and expecting me to enter details, to getting lectures on abstinence, consistently late and the few drivers who don't need sat nav seem intent on ripping you off. E.G. taxi booked from Partick rather going through Clyde tunnel decided to go via Charing Cross and onto M8. It's time GCC took serious action.

Booked a taxi the night before pick-up on the 'priority' booking app. Booked it for a time that would let me get the only direct bus of the day, up north.

Taxi arrived 35 minutes late, 5 minutes before the bus was due to leave the bus station: 20 minutes away.

Received a text telling me I was a no-show'. Refused to answer my phone call.

I've since deleted the 'priority' booking app. Steer clear of this bunch of cowboys.

Asked driver to go right, he said left,back and forth, I told driver as he didn't understand English he shouldn't be driving a taxi. I got out and received a call from taxi company accusing me of being racist! I was nevertheless charged as I had an account. Not the first time I've had problems with them avoid at all times.

After new year i got a wait and return taxi for my son just before midnight to go to a 24 hour shop the driver was asian my son is partially sighted due to a rta in a taxi, so hes quite nervous going into a cab the driver decided to slag my son who wears a patch and refused to bring him home he had to walk i phoned to complain and was told to email management wich i did and still no reply weeks later lets face it if we said anything racial we would have been in court but its ok for a driver to make fun of a disability its not right nothing was done at all its disgracefull i would avoid at all costs black hacks are cheaper, drivers know where they are going and are polite.what annoys me is the management didnt reply to my email so they must find it funny as well.

Pathetic customer service advisors. Pathetic management. Pathetic company. Just making money and not assigning drivers. Never in my life I am gonna trust these greedy people.

Took over every private hire company in Glasgow & no competition. The app shows drivers a few minutes away an hour later still waiting!! Try calling to book it will give random address. Drivers will not listen at times to faster directions as using sat nav. Pay the extra & use Original Glasgow taxi

The location picks up the wrong address n then they charge you extra trying to find you. I also had to cancel a taxi on Xmas eve and what was refunded to me was £5 less than what they initially took !! Disgusted. I won’t be using this company anymore and I’ll certainly be passing the message on.

Absolutely worst company around, AVOID taxi turned up and wouldn’t take me because I had a dog yet i confirmed it app is now deleted avoid with all cost they are rude when calling to complain

Do not use - even when you pre book they let you down and when you complain there back office staff are just rude. This has happened three times in 2022 and I have spent £500+ on business taxi trips - they just do not care!

I have deleted app and will not use again.

I’ve had multiple positive experiences with this firm, but recently, the experience has been dreadful. I have been let down by GlasGo cabs multiple times and there is no real way of contacting an actual person to speak to. I am a female who more often than not pre books taxis for a certain time, which should be reliable. I have given the firm a few opportunities for redemption and therefore now would not recommend. It’s a shame because originally they offered competitive rates and a good service.

I booked a cab through thir app for 10.15 this morning. The journey takes about 20 mins so that left me plenty of time to get to my cinema at 11am. At 10 20, no taxi, I called and was told they would message me when the driver was on the way. At 10.30 I called again and was told the driver was still not allocated, and there were 2 people in front of me.
I appreciate that times are tricky due to strikes and weather but GLASGO CABS COULD HAVE COMMUNICATED THESE ISSUES TO ME SO THAT I COULD HAVE MADE ALTERNATIVE ARRANGEMENTS RATHER THAN LEAVING ME HANGING AND HAVING TO CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT AT THE LAST MINUTE.
Very poor communication. I will never use glasgo cabs again. In fact I am deleting the app and I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE.

The App used to book taxi's is ridiculous, very rarely put the correct location in and when you manually put it in, it overwrites it. Got charged £5 for cancelling a job their app incorrectly added an address, I cancelled within 2-3min after realising.
In peek hours there's a 30% charge on top of the fair.

The drivers can rarely talk English to you.

The price on the meter is never the price you pay.
Shocking company and in times of a taxi shortage. I would rather walk if possible.

Booked the taxi for my husband he said the driver was being very very rude to him and taking a longer route on purpose
