Terrible communication and customer service. Stay away
So far I am really disappointed in the lack of communication and updates on the purchase of my property.
The app, which is supposed to be used for ease of back and forth communications is seldom updated and when it is very superficial information is given.
On emailing the conveyancer I have failed to get a timely if any response by email or phone. When I did I was told I was the one in the wrong.
10 weeks into trying to purchase a flat, I am no further forward, have absolutely no clarity that any progress is being made. I feel like this company take your money and sit back and wait for the process to manage itself.
When I have raised a compliant, closed ranks. No apologies, no commitment to make things right.
Terrible customer service, poor conveyancing services. Do not use.

I have recently used Gordon Brown Law to deal with the legalities of the sale of my deceased sister’s property, as executor, and was extremely satisfied with the service received. The conveyancer assigned to us, Sara Thompson, was excellent. She was extremely professional, explained legal terms to us in simple language - which was greatly appreciated given that this was a completely new experience for us. Sara responded to all of my questions promptly, kept me informed at all stages, and carefully walked me through the whole process step by step. The fees were reasonable too. I would highly recommend Gordon Brown Law to anyone requiring conveyancing service.

House Sale
My experience of dealing with Gordon Law was one of ease & proffesionalism. My Solicitor was Sophie Lawson who was always very charming polite & thorough wether she was contacting me by phone or email. Any questions i had were always dealt with swiftly so i was never left hanging around waiting for a reply for very long time which is always nice. They made the process so easy so i would definately recommend them to anyone so well done for a very pleasant experience at a time that can otherwise be very stressful but not on this occasion, so a big thankyou to Sophie & the team.

Great service provided by Mehreen and staff at Gordon Brown Law. Helpfull and polite, I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly things were processed and dealt with, the process of selling my house was quick and easy, managed through telephone calls, app and e-mail correspondence for a speedy process. No issues during our 6 months
We will shortly be completing and as first time buyers have had a great experience with Gordon Brown Law. The app was easy to use and communication via email and phone has been clear and consistent. I don't think we ever waited more than a day for a response from Kate Bell and during annual leave they had someone covering. Really nice team on the end of the phone too. Thank you!

At one point, I was ready to withdraw due to the constant pressure and chasing from the estate agents, but Shafa stepped in and asked them to direct all enquiries to her instead. How these guys have 4.5 I will never know. Major delays and a 6 month turn around for a simple first time buyer for our house and us moving into an empty property.
We nearly lost our new purchase due to lack of integrity and pure incompetence!!.
