Excellent service
Excellent service. From start to finish, the whole process was easy to manage via the digital app. Email contact from our conveyancer was timely and informative. Moving house is stressful with so many moving parts that can go wrong. Having a professional and reliable solicitor makes a huge difference. Shafa, our conveyancer, was great at communicating. She always answered the phone (anyone who has ever moved will know how important this is) and was always friendly and well informed. Completion was made easy and final statements were sent immediately. First class service from start to finish.

We had an absolutely brilliant experience with Gordon Brown Law. We couldn't recommend them enough.
We were nervous as first time buyers, as you hear horror stories about solicitors, but from beginning to end, Gordon Brown Law were amazing, resulting in us going from offer accepted to completion in just under 8 weeks.
They were quick with paperwork and responses to any enquiries we had (with every email being replied to on the same day.) They communicated clearly and kept everything simple.
They use a really accessible app, meaning you know clearly what you need to do and when, and if anything is outstanding, and it also includes a timeline explaining where you are in the process- incredibly useful as first time buyers going through the process.
A massive shout out to our conveyancer Sara Thompson who was just incredible from beginning to end offering constant support and information throughout.
We couldn't recommend these solicitors more.

Olivia Rourke has recently acted for me on 2 different properties. Great communication and speed which are the 2 things that are most important but sadly usually lacking with other conveyancers. Poor service, lack of urgency, and unacceptable organisation
I had an extremely frustrating experience with this solicitor during the sale of my property. From start to finish, the communication was consistently poor. I was regularly left chasing for updates, and it became very clear that nothing moved forward unless I followed it up myself. There was no sense of proactivity or ownership of the process at all.
The overall lack of urgency was incredibly disappointing. At no point did it feel like they were making any real effort to progress the sale efficiently. For something as important and time-sensitive as a property transaction, this level of disengagement is simply not acceptable.
The most alarming part of the experience came on completion day. At around 3pm, I was contacted and asked where I wanted the sale funds to be transferred which issomething that should have been confirmed well in advance. This level of disorganisation is shocking and nearly caused my onward purchase to fall through, putting me under completely unnecessary stress at the last minute.
Overall, the service was reactive, disorganised, and far below the standard I expected. I would strongly advise others to think twice before using this firm if you value clear communication, professionalism, and a properly managed conveyancing process.

We dealt with one person throughout ( Rachel) who was efficient,helpful and brilliant. All went through smoothly with great customer service; she always replied really quickly and was capable, polite and great to deal with. Also a very reasonable price.
