Shady practices
The moment you sign up, they will start charging your insurance. I uploaded app and deleted the same day, all exercises were primitive. The only thing I didn’t know that I was charged all this time $331 per month, and I haven’t received a single consultation. Such a scam, how is it even legal. Stay away from this shady business.

Bait and Switch
Joined Hinge Health which is covered through my insurance. I was told after 10 sessions I would be able to order the enso device. After 10 sessions I was prompted to order my device and then it was declined. I called and was told that my insurance would not cover. I told them that I wasted my time completing 10 sessions and not receiving the equipment that was promised! Beware just trying to get people to sign up and charge insurance!

Many glitches and issues with applications
Application is not good. Phone needs to be on floor across the room from user. User often cannot view their performance or how to do the exercise. App does not give user time to get in position before starting and it skips reps. Gives exercises that are too difficult causing falls. When user reports that an exercise is too difficult, program is not adjusted.

Made back pain worse
App offered exercises that caused worse back pain. It's been a month now and I have trouble sleeping because of the pain.
Edit: must have struck a nerve, because Trustpilot said they want my contact information to "better understand" my problem

Goodbye, Hinge Health 👋
Unfortunately it's time for me to say goodbye, because my employer no longer has a partnership with Hinge Health. If your employer does have a partnership with Hinge Health, then join the program, because you will be doing yourself and your wellness a favor. I was on the program for 5 yrs and had amazing knee pain relief. Between the program and my amazing coach Jessica no more knee pain. Jessica is great coach that kept me accountable by checking in and making sure I was okay. The only downside to the program, in my opinion is that it is not open to the public. Thank you for the BEST 5 years of my wellness life! Lorraine

Noticed a BIG difference!
I've been using Hinge Health since January. It has been a wonderful experience for me, I started the physical therapy for pelvic floor.
My PTherapist is very communicative, the Health Coach has been helping me reaching my goals, I've noticed a big difference in even if the therapy doesn't feel painful. Which I've learned is working those muscles in a subtle way.
It has been a great experience.

Beneficial program
I was having back spasms to the point that I could hardly walk. I had to use a walking stick to help me move around safely, and felt like I was 100 years old. I found out about Hinge through my employer. I was told it would be free to me, and would only take about 10 minutes a day, so I decided to give it a shot. What did I have to lose?
At first I thought it was going to be a waste of time. The exercises and stretches seemed too simple to be effective. But I preserved. By my second week, the spasms had reduced by 50%, and I was learning why the small movements worked. Plus you can send messages to your physical therapist or health coach, and they actually respond to you.
After four weeks, the spasms were gone and I could actually move around without a walking stick. I couldn’t believe that 10 minutes of super easy stretches a day actually worked, and I didn’t even have to leave my house!
Since starting, they’ve added in other sessions that I can choose to do. Like the 5 minute “Office Stretch”, or the 7 minute “Core Strengthening” sessions. I also love that I can revisit any of the previous sessions that I’ve already done.
I highly recommend this program. It’s absolutely fantastic!

Really enjoying this program
I signed up because of lower back pain, and after that the pain started migrating to my hips (or so I thought). I was seen by an ortho doctor who, based on the xrays and other imaging that I had, determined that my pain was actually coming from arthritic changes in my si. My coach was great in communicating with my assigned PT, and all of my exercises have been modified at some point in time. I also make use of the extra workouts if I feel I need a little more than what is in my daily playlist. While the exercises in the playlist can be a little too easy at times, I find the extra workouts a little more challenging.
I also love the little gadgets they provide. I recently obtained the new Enso and am happy with the initial results.
I will say that all of this is covered by my employer...I don't think I would use it if I had to subscribe out of pocket.
Only giving 4 stars because at one point the exercises were asking me to use resistance bands without any forwarning, and I did not have any. I thought they would have sent them to me (like they did with the sensors and the yoga mat), but I went out and got my own and the ones I got did not really work great with my program.

I am a Hinge Health believer!
Hinge Health has made a wonderfully positive impact in my recent health journey. After completing 6 weeks of local physical therapy I learned that I was eligible to participate in Hinge Health as a continuing form of support offered by my insurance provider with no out of pocket expense to me. I tried a pain injection which gave me a few weeks of partial relief. Shortly afterwards, having consulted multiple surgeons, I learned that I would not be a great candidate for any corrective surgical procedures. Throughout my several month journey, I have been working with my Hinge Health Therapist, Allison and coach, Margaret. They are great! They have been quick to respond to my changing needs and concerns. I appreciate Hinge Health and highly recommend them!

Great for relieving pain and strengthening target areas
I've been using the Hinge Health app for a few weeks now. The PT and Health coaches have been very helpful and supportive. The exercise are mostly easy so far, but are perfect for my target areas. The sessions are short and on point and the exercise videos clearly explain how to do each exercise without any annoying cheerleading. I especially love the ENSO unit. It really helps reduce the pain.

Great physical therapy for arthritis
My insurance company makes Hinge Health available to me for free. I have been following their exercise regimen for a few weeks now, and it is outstanding! I have arthritis in so many joints in my body that is progressing as I move through my 70s. I have always eaten healthy and taking good care of my body through exercise, but aging has really started to take its toll More recently.After just a few weeks of doing their recommended exercises—along with some of the extra strengthening and stretching exercises offered –I am feeling like I felt a couple decades ago! Also, I love the fact that I can ask my assigned PT folks questions, and they get back to me typically before 24 hours passes, often much faster. I look forward to seeing how much I can progress as the weeks and months pass. I would be devastated if my company decided to discontinue this benefit!

Scam of a company. Downloaded the app just to check it out and just realized they have been billing my insurance for in office PT visits for almost a year without my knowledge.

It's just a scam to get money from insurance. The coaching is a joke. The PTs and coaches changed about three times in a month or two. They clearly have retention issues. Requests to tweak my exercises were first ignored until repeated requests. Eventually, I was told they could not do what I requested. Companies like this are why healthcare costs keep going up.

Good results, appropriate exercises, accountability, and encouraging coaching.
Hinge health exercises improved muscle tone and increased flexibility, which I credit with reduced knee pain. The knee program treats the lower body as a whole, with a overlap with hip and lower back exercises. When traveling, only a cell phone with the app and an elastic band are all that's needed. The squats and lunges were particularly helpful. Communication with a coach encourages accountability, reinforced with online calendars and milestone markers. My coaches have been excellent, but I understand they have a huge caseload. It is apparent that a major goal of HH is to steer participants away from joint replacement. The only detriment is that, for overweight persons, the one-legged squats put a dangerous amount of weight on one knee.

This is absolutely a scam
This is absolutely a scam. I signed up for low back pain exercise program. The exercise were useless. The camera kept advising me that I can stretch farther but does not specify exactly how I can do it properly. The coach are useless. In the brief time I used the app, my so call advocate coach kept changing. I couldn't keep up with their turn over personnel. After I downloaded the App, I think I only used it 5 times at most. I did not receive any productive treatments or products and yet they charged my insurance $1195.00 dollars. Even more outrages my Health Insurance actually paid them in full! Apparently they can make these outrages charges to my insurance just by answering my question via text and I have not even spoke with a live person, despite the fact that no productive service was provided. What has become of today's medical therapist's work ecthics? Nothing more than a money grabbing sham. Just realized they made charges on 6/23/24. I have now deleted the App

I have tried twice to get help as this is covered by my current employer and have twice been told with different joint concerns that I do not qualify with no reason given. Most definitely not a helpful or useful service for what they advertise themselves…joint concerns. USELESS. Save your time and avoid any disappointment from this serviceless option.

The insurance company JUST THIS MONTH send info and keep offering their services via countless mailings to my spouse to help prevent need for joint surgery and avoid pain rx. News Flash: He had both knees replaced THREE YEARS AGO and ONLY takes an occasional OTC Tylenol. Beyond angry that insurance companies “sell your info” when you do NOT want these things

Hinge health is a really bad joke and waste of money
Hinge health gave me exercises that I was unable to perform due to the pain. They said they were sorry I am unable to complete the exercises and charged my insurance company 250.00. Hinge Health is a rip-off. I would give them negative stars if I could.

Waste of my time
I've been very unimpressed and disappointed with this service. Before I joined, they assured me that they had experience with hEDS patients and their specific exercise needs. We had a phone call conference (that she was late to). I felt like she was reading from a script. Very generic questions and answers, not really personalized at all, I felt like I was just a number in the queue and definitely not the focus of her attention while we were on the phone; at one point her music started playing on her phone as if she was doing something other than just talking to me. When I mentioned my hEDS; she didn't know what that was, and then said that she thinks she's heard of it before. I explained more of the situation, and made it very clear that the default routine exercises I was being sent would not work for my hEDS as they would actually make my situation worse due to my hypermobility. I was then told that they were reaching out to other team members to see is there was anybody with extensive knowledge. 2wks went by and I've heard nothing from them other than the default message that I haven't been doing my exercises and that they were there to help. If you don't know about something, like hEDS (which is understandable as it is rare), then don't claim to have extensive knowledge just to gain me as a patient. I was really looking forward to working with someone who truly knew the needs and requirements of someone with hEDS, and instead I'm left disappointed and unimpressed. Please do better before taking on a patient with very specific needs; don't claim to have knowledge in something if you really don't much about it other than you may have heard of it before.
