Villa and its setting exceeded expectations. Service by local staff was excellent, and concierge services very responsive

The entire team at Home in Italy made our stay at Alla Fattoria (and the travels in and around, to and from) a wonderful experience. Their help before and throughout our trip was key to making the entire trip possible and making us feel comfortable booking our stay. Making accommodations for our very large family (~45 people) was no small feat, but the team at Home in Italy handled it amazingly. Claudio worked with us personally and he patiently and kindly helped us to consider all that we would need in transportation (including excursions) to, around, and from the villa. While we were there, we had the comfort of having the ability to communicate with a person around the clock if we needed anything (thank you, Arianna!). Every person we communicated with, from finance to planning, was fabulous. We cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you, Home in Italy team!

Our stay at our villa, Gelso, was fabulous! The house was great – comfortable, beautiful, well equipped with great bathrooms and outdoor space. I’d definitely recommend for a group of 8 people or less.

Home in Italy was a helpful resource before we arrived – callout to Serena and Martina – and checked in on us while we were there. While the place was clean, our daily cleaners were delightful and made us feel like royalty.

We were there in shoulder season, so greatly appreciated the flexibility with checkin/out and will hope to return one day so we can enjoy the beautiful pool (it was just warming up as we left)!

Location is beautiful in the vineyards, close to Gaiole, yet isolated at the same time.

From start to finish, everything worked out perfectly. Wonderful accommodations, greeted by host on the day of arrival, transportation recommendations 100% made our trip very enjoyable. We highly recommend Home in Italy. Thank you to all the team but especially Claudio.

We stayed a week at the Masseria Petrola outside of Monopoli, in Puglia. It’s located very close (15-40 minute drives) to cities of interest in the area: Monopoli, Lecce, Ostruni, Alberobello, and others. We hosted nine friends to celebrate a milestone birthday. From the outset, as we looked for properties, it seemed Home In Italy offered the best options for us with respect to availability, accommodation and price. Our first contact with the company was welcoming and informative. Our questions were answered with speed and were clear. We were never made to feel as if we were a nuisance—and our questions were many!

When we decided on the property and details needed to be attended to (payment, food preferences, grocery lists and special preps for the celebration), Home In Italy was literally at our disposal to a point where we felt like we were their only customers!

When we arrived at the property, we were greeted like old acquaintances, offered drinks and a tour of the property so that we could make room assignments. The beauty of the place took our breath away. Each room was magnificent, with beautiful attention to detail, decoration and comfort. There were no “meh” rooms. They were all elegant and our guests were thrilled to be in the rooms we assigned to them.

As hosts, we chose the most wonderful “room”. Actually a small building with two adjoining bedrooms and a 180 degree view of the ocean! This was an incredibly sweet surprise for us. Our “house” had two bedrooms, a sitting area, an ocean-facing terrace, two indoor showers and one jasmine-surrounded outdoor rain shower. Two bathrooms, two king sized beds and an abundance of storage for clothes and more clothes hangers than we could use. A rare thing for us!

It was magical- every night we heard donkeys braying goodnight and in the morning, roosters called out to start the day. You can’t make this stuff up! Each morning, staff laid an exquisite breakfast table with items changing each day, but also “staples” remaining the same. Staff prepared eggs for those who wanted them. And they made beautiful cappuccino, espresso or americano drinks for all of us every morning.

Housekeeping staff were excellent, with a morning clean and evening turndown. The rooms were always cleaned and the bathrooms refreshed twice daily. The toilet paper was re-serviced twice daily with an imprint on the rolls!

The key holder to the property, Clara, was at our disposal for anything we needed: touring recommendations, special needs for the birthday (cake and balloons), daily check-ins for needed groceries and wine, and attention to anything else that we’d like. Her experience in hospitality was amazing. She speaks four languages fluently. She was a delight, as was the rest of the housekeeping and kitchen/serving staff.

Meals were prepared by the Chef, Donato, based on input we provided. We ate lunch in the towns we visited, but none equaled the food prepared by Donato. Meals were served with impeccable attention to detail, and the table had a different decor each night. We were delighted that staff joined us for a bit one night for dancing and on another night for birthday singing and cake presentation. We loved them all.

Special thanks to Serena, who was the administrator before and during our stay. She checked in with us before arrival, a few times during the stay and offered a warm farewell when sadly, our time at the Masseria concluded.

We travel a great deal and it’s luxury travel. We’ve stayed in many luxe properties while on safari, touring the South Island of New Zealand, enjoying metropolitan areas and beach resorts. Each one memorable and exceeding our expectations. Home In Italy’s Masseria Petrola property surpassed them ALL! The place was a jewel and its staff unparalleled for service, assistance, laughter and care. If there was a ten star option, that would be our rating for this beautiful retreat in Puglia.

We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful villas and sprawling estate of gorgeous gardens and citrus groves. The staff were kind, accommodating and attentive to our every desire. This estate was a magical experience for our group of 16.

The best villa experience we’ve ever had
I can’t say enough about Home In Italy— they were absolutely incredible. From start to finish, they were attentive and their customer service was unbelievable, Benedetta was wonderful, answered every question we had within hours.

Villa Mascagni was stunning, the photos didn’t even capture how gorgeous it was. We walked in to a full refrigerator and fully stocked cupboards, which was such a thoughtful welcome after traveling. They also included 3 hours of daily cleaning, and Martina was terrific — sweet, discreet, and kept everything spotless.

The chef Demaride Campanile they arranged to prepare a few dinners for us was wonderful — restaurant-quality meals in our own villa. And our local liaison, Chiara, was a gem. Any question, any request, all we had to do was text Chiara and she was on it immediately.

Two weeks of pure perfection in Villa Mascagni!! If you want an stress-free, luxury villa stay with a team that truly cares, this is the company to use. Highest recommendation. Grazie mille! — feeling thankful in Salento, Puglia.

Our stay at Centovalli in the Val D’Orcia region of Tuscany was absolutely perfect! The space itself was stunning and well designed with inviting and comfortable living spaces — every corner had that warm, authentic Tuscan charm with a refined sensibility. The Home in Italy staff couldn’t have been more attentive or helpful, going above and beyond to make sure everything was just right, even helping us arrange special experiences and services. The villa sits in a remarkable, panoramic landscape hard to describe. There is easy access to so many stunning towns and sites nearby. We had no issues at all — every question was answered, and every detail was handled with care. Truly an unforgettable experience!

We had such a wonderful stay at Villa Pratolino this summer. The home is absolutely stunning — spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed with every comfort in mind. The location is excellent, set in a charming hillside town with breathtaking views of Florence. It felt peaceful and secluded, yet close enough to explore everything the area has to offer.

The hosts couldn’t have been more gracious, going above and beyond to make our visit special. They welcomed us with fresh fruits, breads, and the most delicious homemade cake (I even had to ask for the recipe!). They also offered wonderful local recommendations and even arranged a reservation for my son’s birthday at a magical, locals-only restaurant we would have never discovered on our own. It was such a special evening and one of our favorite memories from the trip.

Every detail, from the thoughtful welcome to the beautiful surroundings, made this a truly unforgettable experience. We can’t recommend Villa Pratolino and its hosts highly enough!

We absolutely loved our villa experience for our wedding day. End of September was perfect and the villa was so well minted and absolutely beautiful for our day. Claudio was the best host we could have asked for and was extremely accommodating and communicative the entire time and handled our last minute requests with patience and kindness every step of the way. We were nervous to do a destination wedding since we aren’t super well travelled but we could not have been happier. Have your wedding here - we 10000% recommend.

We rented a villa in Tuscany through Home in Italy that vastly exceeded our expectations. The website made it easy to zero in on our top candidates and the booking process was relatively easy. We arranged a cooking class at the villa as well as a day long wine tasting day run by a local sommelier. All fantastic.
When I say the villa exceeded expectations, I say that realizing that, so often, when you see pictures of accommodations, what you find is that the photos have made the place look better than it actually is. In the case of Villa Castiglioni (Castelio), the opposite is true - the villa was even better than we had imagined when we rented it. When our GPS brought us to the location, I thought that the entry gates must be for somewhere else and couldn’t possibly be the place I had rented. Every aspect of the villa worked perfectly. Throughout the stay, the staff (Paolo, Oranella, and Aziz) were outstanding in every dimension. The food was, at all times, excellent. The cooking class we had booked early in the week was excellent and fun. The welcome dinner was perfect and the daily breakfast service proved to be yet another highlight.
If visiting the area again, I would not hesitate to use Home in Italy.

The expectations were high before arriving. After getting there we knew we were at the right place.

We had an unforgettable vacation at Villa Miranda/Ibiscus, and we can’t recommend it enough. From the very beginning, Home in Italy made everything so easy—they helped us with reservations, organized shopping services, and handled all of our transportation. Everything was seamless from start to finish.

The villa itself is immaculate and beautifully maintained, but what truly made our stay special was the people. Giuseppe, the villa manager and concierge, was warm, gracious, and went above and beyond in assisting with all of our planning. Each morning, Giuseppe and Costanza prepared a delicious breakfast, and during our private chef dinners, the service was flawless. The meals were some of the best we had on the Amalfi Coast—better than many restaurants we visited.

One of the highlights of our trip was a private boat trip to Capri, perfectly organized by Giuseppe. From beginning to end, Giuseppe, Costanza, and Carmela exceeded every expectation, making us feel so cared for.

Villa Ibiscus and the team behind it truly created a once-in-a-lifetime experience for our family. We can’t wait to return!

The villa was comfortable for a family reunion of 16 people with plenty of space to gather as a group but also with plenty of privacy. The pool is large and beautiful. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and made the stay a real pleasure

The whole process went really smooth, Martina was a great help for us and treated us like their most important guests. She was always available and ready to help and thanks to her and the whole Home In Italy team our vacation was just more than perfect.
