The salesman was pleasant, informative and genuine and his advice helped me to make my decision. Once my decision was made everything went according to plan and was actually completed ahead of time.

Good workmanship, Sandy, Wayne and Alex were very friendly. Punctual and left everywhere clean and tidy. Worked very hard and we were pleased with the overall service from Homesmart

After receiving a cold call I was fairly dubious about using homesmart, I researched them a little and they seemed to have a pretty good reputation and reasonable reviews so decided to go ahead with commissioning them with a flat roof refelt plus sofit and guttering replacement. The sales person said all the right things as I asked question after question. So fast forward quite some time, come the day of arranging the works my first alarm bells rang as their installation manager kept repeating oh sorry sir that isn't in the contract or not mentioned in the contract. (My first piece of advise is to have every detail you talk about written in that sales agrement/contract, under no circumstances believe the waffle of the sales guy who will say oh the installation manager will sort that out when they call).

So for some reason they decided to replace the flat roof before the sofits, which to me seemed odd but according to them. The actual flat roof it's self looked great, nice new felt, looking very hard wearing and jointed well, the finishing however was less than optimal. They were very accommodating, I called they returned,multiple times, sorting out the lead work and making sure it looked a lot neater. Again fast forward a few weeks and the sofits are installed. I had asked for a little bit of extra work which they happily made a small charge for of £250 for a bit of guttering (about £30 Inc fixings) and pulling the felt away from it's fixing (about 30mons work max), I had atleast thought the work would have included a bit of tapered battern for the felt to fix back to but hey what do I know. So the sofits are installed,my front wall is demolished, which I have to admit was a great bit of extra work carried out, un paid and unrequested I might add. Unfortunately apparently there was a lapse in communication which resulted in them not even letting me know,so the first I hear about it is from a very annoyed next door neighbour wondering why our portioning wall looks like it's contained a mini explosion. Anyway sorry I'm ranting and getting off topic. Honestly the work they have done is of reasonable to good quality, my wall was rebuilt but the finishing aspects of the job however not so great. They have been very reasonable in returning to rectify anything I have had an issue with but honestly those issues should never have been there. Overall it's left my feeling very disappointed with a company I had hoped would exceed my expectations. I actually wasn't going yo write a review but I have just looked at my invoice and in big red letters it states 1 day overdue and it kind of struck a nerve. The work does come with a 10 year guarantee which is partly what attracted me to the company and I hope I never have to use.

Overall there sales pitch is excellent, installation manager is very helpful and at no point did we argue or dismiss my issues which I am very grateful for, quality of work is OK but the finishing really does need some work.

I hope if you use homesmart you have a much better experience than I did.

My Conservatory is about 10 years old and is quite large, and I have been increasingly concerned about the lack of use this large space gets during the winter months. After a visit by a HomeSmart representative I decide to go ahead with the conversion of the roof with the aim of making the conservatory warmer and therefore more useful during the winter months. Last week HomeSmart Installations modified my conservatory roof by putting in insulation and plastic panels. The work took 2 days and the end product looks really very smart. The conservatory was left clean and tidy with all waste removed by HomeSmart. It is too early to tell how effective the improvements will be as the end of the work coincided with a significant improvement in the weather with temperatures in the high teens. I have to say that the cost was less than I had estimated which was nice. I am now looking forward, over the next few months, to adding a radiator, and getting much better use out of my conservatory over the next winter.

Very efficient throughout the whole process, especially the fitters. They were very experienced, quick and tidy and I would recommend them to anyone.

Have a price in your head before they come around as you get the usual haggling, phone calls and take it now or the price goes up. Windows installed well and look good. Professional install. Pressure to pay the minute they leave your house, a chance to take a look in the daylight would have been nice as I was at work when they were fitted. Paid once I was happy all was good. Overall pretty happy with the quality, price and install.

This was my second installation from HomeSmart. The whole process from measuring to finish went smoothly and I am very satisfied with the result.

Fom start to finish everything went without a hitch
All staff turned up on time, were courteous industrious and explained processes well. Work was carried out efficiently and in a neat and tidy fashion. All packing was taken away.
I couldn't fault them

We have just had two concrete bases laid and a patio, by Tindy and Ben. They have done a fabulous job. They were always courteous and kept in mind our needs, plus took care of looking out for the rest of the garden while using big machinery. They cleared up superbly after their work too. The end result is exactly what we wanted. Thank you so much.

I was a bit worried about the whole process initially what would happen to my equipment and items from the outhouse and would I have to wait long between removal of the asbestos roof and the roofer coming. However I needn't have worried. Matt turned up on the Friday and cleared the outhouse and on the Monday the men turned up to remove the asbestos roof and shortly after Matt arrived to start the roof. It was finished the next day. Before he left Matt put everything back in the outhouse. It was a lot more painless than I expected! Good job.

Very good level of workmanship - the fitters had to manage inserting a particularly difficult to access window without complaint. Cleaned up nicely after them. Worked completed to a very satisfactory standard. Certificates arrived as email attachments as promised. Good to know we supported local businesses.
