Absolutely appalled by my experience with HURR.

A renter stole my Celine sunglasses, and when I used HURR’s so called “protection” policy, I was offered a payout so low it wouldn’t even cover the cost of buying a second hand replacement, never mind replacing them like for like.

The protection policy is purposefully misleading. At no point is it made clear that if your item is lost or stolen, HURR can simply apply their own depreciation formula and pay you whatever they decide it’s worth, regardless of the actual replacement cost.

So my item is stolen, now I can’t replace it, and I’m left out of pocket while the renter gets to keep the item and HURR hides behind their vague protection terms. It’s outrageous.

This has completely destroyed my trust in the platform. I’ll be deleting my account after this experience.

My advice to anyone considering lending on HURR is just don’t bother, unless you’re prepared to risk having your items stolen with no protection.

I feel completely misled, and I would never trust HURR with valuable items again.

Fabulous experience! More sustainable way to be fashion forward

Love Hurr and generally had a great experience when I've rented items. The only bad one I've had was when a dress was sent to me the day before a big event in an unwearable condition. I had no time to get to the post office to return it that day and so was charged the full amount for the rental, even though the lady renting it to me said I didn't have to send it back to her that day. I think Hurr should have at least part refunded me but they just said that it was their policy which wasn't great. Other than that experience though, its been great

Terrible experience - my wife followed all the steps and ‘cataline c’ simply ignored every message and my wife didn’t get the dress, and we are still waiting for our money back. Very rude and frustrating.

Such an excellent company, for lending and renting

I’ve had another fantastic experience with HURR. The entire process, from browsing to receiving my rental, was seamless and stress-free. The 2 dresses arrived exactly as described, in perfect condition, and made my outfit feel extra special for my best friend’s wedding.

I love that HURR makes it easy to wear beautiful designer pieces in a more sustainable and affordable way. Communication was clear throughout with the lender, delivery was on time, and returning the dresses was just as simple. I’ll definitely continue using HURR for future events and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable luxury rental platform.

It was the first time I used Hurr and I was really impressed with them. The lender was fantastic and kept in regular contact with me. The dress surpassed expectations and would recommend Hurr to anyone thinking of renting an outfit.

I love using hurr, it is so simple to use and efficient. Also it is such a great way to give clothes a new lease of life!

The dress arrived as though it had been worn on a night out and shoved into the bottom of the bag for the next rental. There were multiple stains under the arms and on the front of the dress. However, despite receiving the dress in this state I was only issued a partial refund. Do not use this company.

I love HURR! The system is so easy and understandable, I always get notifications so I know what’s happening with my item, and the tracking feature is great. If you want to rent designer items, HURR is the place to go 😊

I love renting, and have used Hurr a lot in the past. I have advocated about it to friends and family - they know me as someone who regularly rents.

So last year I paid for Hurr flex, the new credit scheme. However, I've been abroad a lot and unable to use them. After requesting an extension on the credits the team have said it isn't possible, their policy is black and white. (The name of the scheme is ironic given it is in fact, totally inflexible!)

My circumstances are different, which I have explained but they still wouldn't budge. Now £177 of credits are going in the bin (I will try to allocate some quickly today, on things I do not need or want, which is totally against the ethics of it all) - they have quite literally taken my money for nothing. I appreciate it is 'policy', but to totally disregard individual circumstances for a long term customer without any flexibility is just dumb. I am furious and will never use Hurr again.

Two orders but no dresses - Money looks like it’s been taken. Can’t rely on this service if you’re in need of a frock !!!!

I love using HURR! Great for an outfit that needs a standout accessory, events for new dresses or holidays!

Love love loved HURR. It’s so easy to rent a whole outfit including hat and bag and without spending too much money. It’s smooth and so efficient. I highly recommend.

This was my first rental and I went for a top rated renter and read the reviews carefully. It couldn’t have gone better . The dress was perfect . Since renting I have found out a lot of my daughter’s friends rent from Hurr. I think it’s going to grow and grow but it does take a leap of faith at the start.
