No replacement seals available for the ION8 Roam flask!
I received my ION8 Roam flask last week, and straight away noticed that it had silicone seals.
I’ve had problems with silicone seals before, and while this did perform brilliantly, I KNEW I’d be needing new seals at some point in the future.
So I contacted Aydya, the owners of ION8, via email. Only because their number didn’t ring out, after repeated attempts.
It transpires they’re AREN’T located in the advertised office at Luna Place, it’s home to a Fostering service!
No matter how simple I made my email enquiries, they responded with totally irrelevant responses every time.
So I returned the product.
Note to ION8………..
When you finally make replacement silicone seals available, Please let me know, and if I haven’t bought something else in the meantime, I’ll buy a Roam flask again.
BUT NOT WITHOUT SPARE SEALS, Not for +-£23 anyway!

Thank you for your feedback. We are actually based at the office on Luna Place in Scotland - the building has two floors and you are right, downstairs is a fostering service. We are upstairs. I am so sorry you didn't get your call answered though!
We do not currently have seals available on-line but we do have access to replacement seals which we would always send free of charge if needed so don't let it put you off! In future, if we find it is a necessity then we may look to stocking these online. I hope that clears that up :)

I bought the small water bottle for my granddaughter
I bought the small water bottle for my granddaughter as she started infant school. She loves the way that the spout pops up at the push of a button. I like the fact that it is not too big and, when filled with water, not too heavy. It is bright, colourful and robust and both she and I are delighted with it.

Love these bottles
Love these bottles! Ordered 2x 500ml steel bottles for my kids for school. They loved getting to choose their favourite colour and have them personalised with their names. They have survived being dropped numerous times with minimal damage /denting so these are quality durable bottles, which I think makes them worth the extra spend. I ordered another couple of steel bottles for myself and my husband, which we both love. They keep cold drinks cold! I later ordered another bottle - insulated stainless steel bright floral 500ml as I like to carry hot drinks to work. I find it keeps drinks hot all day, though I find it better to not have drinks piping hot as you can't take small sips from the spout, and would risk scalding, so I have it less hot, but it stays hot for hours, cooling to warm after about 6 hours. I would recommend the insulated steel bottle rather than steel bottle for hot drinks, as you can then hold the bottle comfortably in your hand. I contacted Ion8 for support during my orders, and I have to say, the customer service from Inah was exceptional, with very courteous, clear communation throughout - Inah could not have been more helpful. Thank you!

Straw doesn’t fit
I ordered a children’s 500ml bottle via Ion8 on Amazon and this has been fine other than when my daughter tips this up to drink, the water also comes out of the little vent hole above the drinking hole. I then went ahead and purchased a straw via the Ion8 website to fit a 500ml bottle to prevent this leak and when the straw arrived, it was too long and the lid wouldn’t screw into the bottle properly. I had to cut this straw down to be able to get the lid to fit on which was quite disappointing as my daughter loves the bottle itself and loves the design.
