Really good quality water bottles
Really good quality water bottles. Took them on holiday with us. Kept water cold through our flight and used them at the pool and beach. Because the water tasted fresh and cold it helped us to drink more. I love the antibacterial protection. Never smells and they are really easy to clean.

Fantastic - just a couple of design notes
Got a water bottle for my 4 year old son with a straw. Great for school. Doesn't leak. Easy clean. Fab.
Got myself a coffee mug. I tend to pre-heat with a bit of boiling water to get it hot first so stays warmer longer. 90% great BUT...the mouth part for drinking is uncomfortable due to the location of the closing mechanism being where you put your bottom lip. Also, the non-slip texture of the material - whilst great on the bottom - means it's difficult to slide in the bottle holder on the side of my rucksack as it 'sticks' against the material and I can't get it in.
I do love my water bottle I got free with my order over £30.
We love all three items, but a note for the insulated cup development - move the clip to a side or further down away from where you put your mouth, and a smooth 'slippy' material so you can put them in bag drinks holders.
Would buy again though!

Hello Mrs, thank you for telling us that the bottle with the straw has been great for your 4 year old at school, with no leaks and an easy clean. It's lovely to picture him carrying it in every day. We've carefully noted your thoughts on the lip placement of the closing mechanism on the coffee mug and on the grippy finish that sticks in a rucksack side pocket, as those are the kinds of practical details only daily use shows up. Purchased two kids bottles recently
I recently purchased two bottles for my daughter at the end of August. After a few weeks, we noticed the bags that had the bottles in, had a water leakage. It turns out, one of the bottles leaks unless it’s standing upright. Disappointing as I was recommended this brand and done a little research on best bottles in some mum groups. I’ll have to purchase another bottle elsewhere as my little one will loose the other one at some point.

Bottle shedding material quickly
We’ve now ordered two water bottles for my son to take to nursery from this company. We expect a fair amount of wear and tear, but in both cases material on the bottle has torn and come away quickly, making the bottle unusable. Happened first with a plastic bottle with construction vehicles around the outside - the plastic started peeling off within a couple of weeks. But having seen all the positive reviews we assumed it was a fluke and ordered again, a stainless steel bottle. Again within weeks the blue material covering the bottle has started coming away and it has dents all around its base. The quality of the material seems really poor, and I can’t square our experience against all these positive reviews. Bottles will always get tatty quickly when sending them to nursery but ION-8s selling point is about the longevity of their bottles and that just hasnt stood up in our experience. Would not recommend and would not order again - would rather spend more upfront for a bottle from a more established brand.

I do not remember the exact date when I realised my issue. Despite my bad experience with my bottle, which developed mould after I used it only 3 times, twice with water only, once with a little apple juice heavily diluted with water, I contacted customer service, shared my experience with photo proof. My personal case was handled by Inah, who was professional, courteous and helpful throughout the process, even when I was upset which very likely reflected in my email communications. I subsequently received a replacement bottle very quickly, even though I stated that I do not want one. So overall, great customer service which I cannot fault at all. A big thumbs up for INAH.😊

Faulty bottle, but replacement sent straight away
Unfortunately My daughter dropped her bottle and it fully snapped round the entire rim. I sent a picture to ion8 and within not even 24hrs, they have sent a new replacement. I am hopeful that it was just a faulty bottle as i havent had issues with our other ones.

Overall the bottles are good quality
Overall the bottles are good quality. Unfortunately my son removes the rubber seals so I had to pay for replacements which are choking hazards. The metal bottles are much longer lasting that the plastic ones.

On the rubber seals: we completely understand your concern about them being a choking hazard when removed. It's something we take seriously, especially with younger children. The seals are designed to stay firmly in place during normal use, but we know curious hands can sometimes work them loose. Keeping an eye on the bottle's condition and replacing seals when needed - as you've done - is exactly the right approach.

Robustheit im Schulalltag, zuverlässige Temperaturhaltung und dann noch dieser Kundenservice - das freut uns wirklich zu lesen. Dass die Flaschen all das aushalten, was der Schulalltag so mit sich bringt, ist genau das, wofür wir sie entwickelt haben.

It was easy to order, arrived quickly and I recommend their service.
These are the only bottles I buy now. They don’t leak, they have a good flow of liquid to drink and they are easy to clean. The insulated ones keep drinks really cold in extreme heat.
