Admittedly I thought oooh it’s a bit pricey but it was a gift n was getting a cup free so that was good
The cups came very quickly n well packaged
I messed up my order n didn’t put the name on but was emailed to ask about this n was sorted super fast n delivered the following day
The cups are what they say no leaks I did get a second lid cos wasn’t sure which one was best n as I said it’s a gift
I’m very happy with these n highly recommend also a lovely service

I purchased an ION8 water bottle for my child because of the company’s claims about durability and suitability for everyday use. Unfortunately, after approximately one year, the bottle developed a substantial crack following an accidental drop.
What has disappointed me most is the response from ION8
I contacted customer service and provided photographs of the damage, only to be told that the bottle showed signs of misuse and that they would not replace it. When I challenged this decision and asked for a clear explanation, I was told that their bottles are designed to withstand everyday knocks and bumps but are “not designed to withstand the impact of being dropped’’
I find this very difficult to reconcile with ION8’s own advertising. One of their adverts features a parent saying their daughter’s bottle had been “dropped, thrown, spun around” throughout the school year without breaking or leaking. The company also promotes its bottles as durable and suitable for whatever the day brings.
As a parent, I bought this bottle expecting it to be durable enough for normal everyday use by a child. I fully understand that no bottle is indestructible, but I do question how a product marketed so heavily on its durability can develop a substantial crack following an accidental drop, only for the company to dismiss the damage as misuse.
ION8 offered me a voucher towards another bottle, but this does not resolve my concerns. I do not believe I should have to spend more money on a replacement without receiving a satisfactory explanation of why the original bottle failed to meet the expectations created by the company’s own advertising.
I have also found myself blocked from ION8’s Facebook page after sharing my experience, which has added to my disappointment.
I have now emailed the company again, asking it to reconsider its decision and explain the apparent contradiction between its advertising and its position on accidental drops. I am awaiting a response.
I wanted to share my experience so that other parents can make an informed decision. I chose ION8 because of its durability claims, but my experience with both the product and the handling of my complaint has been disappointing.
I would welcome a fair resolution and a meaningful response from ION8

Reading through your original experience, we completely understand why you felt let down. You bought one of our bottles because of what we say about durability, your child used it for a year, it cracked after a drop, and our initial response didn't match what you'd reasonably expected from us. That disconnect between what we advertise and how we initially handled your case - we get why that felt so frustrating.
You're absolutely right to call out the inconsistency. When we talk about bottles being dropped and thrown around in school bags, and then respond to a crack from a drop by citing "misuse", that doesn't add up. We've taken your feedback seriously, and it's helped us look again at how we assess these situations. Durability means standing up to real life with children, and real life includes drops.
We're glad we were able to put this right with a replacement, and we're genuinely sorry it took a second contact to get there. Your daughter's bottle should be with you soon.

We love these bottles - after seeing how quickly some others went mouldy. They are all we buy for the kids now. We had an issue with one breaking so I contacted customer support. Inah was so helpful and immediately arranged to replace it. Excellent customer service!

Really like how sturdy the bottles are-…
Really like how sturdy the bottles are- we’re a clumsy family always in a rush and so far the bottles have stood up well to being dropped or falling out of school bags.
The spout is a strange design though- I don’t find it easy to not spill from my mouth as I finish taking a sip and bring the bottle away from my lips. With hot drinks this is a safety issue. I probably wouldn’t buy another one with this spout design to be honest.

I received assistance regarding a kids lunch box that had to be replaced, but unfortunately, the replacement was damaged after its very first use. I contacted them again and requested a refund, which was agreed to. Great bottles, have four for kids weekend and sport clubs.
We got NFL branded one, sadly one of them the NFL stickers all came off dispute washing them all in the same way, I sent an email in with pictures. Inah at customer support emailed back and got a new one sent out.
