Product excellent. Arrived promptly.

Website is good and clear, very easy to find what you want. I found paying a bit glitchy for me, I had to have a few attempts, it might have been because I used my mobile and it may have been me,the user, the desktop site may be better. Having said that I would buy from Kefirgrains.ie again. Delivery time is excellent. I would recommend for sure (I'd also recommend kefir!)

Some extra detail:
As per instructions the first batch didn't work but I changed the milk after 36 hours and the next morning I had fresh Kefir ready to go. Once it was chilled it was nicer than any shop bought kefir. Looking forward to more!

I have always gotten my water kefir grains here and they are amazing! They multiply and grow like crazy (very happy)
Great customer support when you have questions, the company is very helpful! They have lots of tips and instructions on their website which made is easy when I was a beginner!

Seeds arrived on time and I have been having organic kefir everyday since and my abdominal bloating so far has resolved!
Also onto my second batch of kombucha!

Ordered the SF sourdough starter. Nice smart packaging, reached on time, clear instructions on next steps. I left it in the fridge for a week before I used it. Super pleased with its health and aroma. Can’t wait to bake a Tartine country loaf soon. Thanks, Kefir grains!

The first batch ok kefir I made was a bit weak: it looked and tasted almost like milk. But that was because the kefir grains were tired from their trip. The second batch and all the others were excellent: the taste, flavour, and consistency was just fine.

Instead of straining my kefir through a plastic sieve, what I do is to put the grains in a chiffon sachet so there's no need to sieve later on, and it works fine.

I've been using starters for years successfully and had great hope. Unfortunately these starters were dead on arrival. Disappointing. After first feed with 12% protein flour they didn't take off at all... Lesson learned.

Reading through the previous negative reviews, I await their denial and snarky retort. :-) I am not looking for money back from them. I've ordered from another source that provided great starter previously.

Update: Waited for the snarky response and they didn't disappoint, unlike their "starter". First of all, what they're suggesting is nonsense. I can create my own starter from scratch in the number of days they're suggesting it takes to activate. It's dead, just like their fallacious assertions. If nothing else the combative attitude, hostility, and lack of any accountability exhibited here should be enough to have you searching elsewhere lest you encounter an issue of your own.
It isn't whether you can please everyone, it's a matter of trying even a little. Don't take my word for it, peruse previous negative reviews, they aren't interested in making things right.

Something that a business truly interested in improving will NEVER learn from 100% reviews.

Your response is far more telling than anything else I could have offered as evidence. I clearly don't know everything, no one can. Great organizations are always learning and even seeking critique. It was too much to reach out to understand where they might have had an issue.

And still haven't. Again, I haven't asked for my money back. The only thing ridiculous and outrageous is their inability to learn from this teachable moment. More is the pity.

Came quickly. Well packed. Great product. Would recommend. The kefir activated very quickly.

Ordered a Scoby to make kombucha, going well so far

Product is good, website a bit misleading, stated that is next day delivery, then that they are busy so could be delayed....then 10 days later arrives.
Other then that product is brilliant

Highly recommended!!! My grains (water and milk) arrived healthy and are thriving! I ordered them forgeting about bank holiday monday, so it took nearly a week to arrive, hot weeked, I didnt have much hope for the grains to survive the trip. But they arrived healthy and well. I have them now for 2 months, no problems. I highly recommend kefirgrains.ie if you are looking to start your fermenting journey!
