Wasn't clear what i was purchasing
Wasn't clear what i was purchasing. Went for a three month subscription for £22.79 and was charged a further £49.95 for something i didn't know i was buying. Contacted the company and said there was a mistake but they refused to give me a refund!! On top of all this the app is awful. Don't bother with this company

Die MadMuscles App wird auf Trustpilot überwiegend negativ bewertet, wobei viele Nutzer von Abo-Fallen, unerwünschten Abbuchungen und schwierigen Rückerstattungen berichten (1-5 Sterne). Kritisiert werden intransparente Kosten, während vereinzelt die Trainingspläne als anfängerfreundlich beschrieben werden. Vorsicht bei Probeabos ist geboten!
Die App lockt mit einem günstigen Preis, welcher sich aber automatisch nach einem Monat auf 47,59€ pro Monat verlängert. Man kann nur über die Website und nicht über die App kündigen. Außerdem wird bei der Einrichtung der App mit vielen zusätzlichen Features gelockt, die extra kosten. Ich finde den Normalpreis überteuert für eine komplett KI programmierte App. Die Übungen sind in Ordnung. Aber ein Dauer-Abo wollte ich nicht abschließen. Habe heute, als ich in PAYPal den monatlichen Abbucher von 47,59 EUR entdeckt habe, die "Verlängerung" des Abos SOFORT gekündigt und ein Mail an den Support von madmuscles (dot) com mit WIDERRUF und sofortiger Kündigung geschrieben.
Ich bin in diese Abo-Falle getappt.

I strongly caution anyone considering MadMuscles before subscribing.
I was charged $99 for an automatic renewal without any prior reminder or notification. When I contacted support to request a refund — explaining that I had a family emergency and had not used the service — they denied my request.
Here is what reveals the most about this company:
— The moment I tried to cancel, they instantly offered me the same subscription for $0.99/month. If the service is genuinely worth $99, why drop the price by 99% immediately?
— When I requested a refund, instead of returning my money, they offered a free year of service. I declined because I need the refund, not a continued subscription I cannot use. A company that can offer a free year but refuses to return $99 is not acting in good faith.
— Their support team confirmed in writing that they deliberately do not send renewal reminders before charging customers. This is not an accident — it is an intentional policy designed to catch people off guard.
I have filed complaints with the BBB and the FTC, and opened a dispute with my payment provider. If you have experienced the same, I encourage you to do the same. This is not how an ethical company operates.

Trying to get a refund due to misleading links, a mistake is a nightmare and looks like I will have to go through legal routes to get a refund from these.
Stay away from this Scam app, if you value your sanity stay well away.

Got a refund for both purchases from PayPal after opening a claim and explaining the deceptive way the web site works.
Initial payment for the 12 week plan £18.99
£49.95 for the extra Deceptive payment I was charged for something I didn't want.

I signed for a 11.99 subscription and they where charging me two different payments 1st for 49.95 and 2nd for 18.99 and if you call the # 402-935-7733 the first thing they ask is for your credit card last 4 and guess what they charge you again I was trying to talk to someone to cancel and to see if I can get refund of my money and all I get was a extra charge of $69.99 + another charge of 99.95 and I don't have any ideas how to speak to someone for my refund

Refund refused after unwanted subscription charge
I CANNOT recommend MadMuscles at all.
My experience with this app was extremely frustrating and, in my opinion, completely unacceptable. I paid because I believed I was making a one-time purchase. Later, money was taken from my account again due to a subscription renewal that I did not knowingly want, expect, or agree to in that way.
I contacted their support and clearly asked for a refund. I repeated several times that I did not want extra access, free months, a personal coach consultation, or any other “bonus”. I wanted one thing only: my money back.
Instead of respecting that, they kept pushing alternative offers. This was not helpful. It felt like a tactic to avoid refunding the payment.
In the end, they confirmed that my subscription was cancelled and that I would not be charged again. But they still refused to refund the money, saying that my case does not fall under their refund policy.
For me, this is absolutely unacceptable. A company that takes money through an unwanted renewal and then refuses to refund it does not deserve trust.
I feel misled, ignored, and financially taken advantage of.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP.
