Ordered two items in August 2025, no communications at all advising on when the items are to be despatched. I have paid in full and I’m now requesting a cancellation and a full refund. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!
Dålig kundtjänst och sen returhantering
Beställde en matta som skulle komma i lager ett par månader framåt i tid och därefter skickas till mig. Betalning gjordes direkt vid beställningen. Leveranstiden sköts fram flera gånger utan att jag fick någon information utan jag fick själv flertalet gånger kontakta kundtjänst. När mattan väl kom passade den inte så den returnerades. Det tog företaget ca 6 månader efter retur att göra en återbetalning och återigen behöver jag först själv ta kontakt med kundtjänst. Tyvärr jättedålig kundupplevelse och jag kommer inte köpa något igen.
HORRIBLE lead times
I ordered a lamp in August 2023, and am still waiting for it to arrive. I have so far received more than 10 shipping date updates. NONE of these were proactively given to me, I had to reach out directly to customer service to ask for an update. This company has horrible product planning, and very poor customer service. What is worse, they're still advertising the product at a "preorder"price on the website with no suggested delivery time. It's been almost three years!!
It's a shame as the products look nice.

Jeg bestilte (og betalte for) et gulvtæppe i august 2025. Jeg fandt ud af i efteråret (på eget initiativ) at der var udfordringer med levering. Jeg har skrevet til kundeservice flere gange, da jeg gerne vil have annulleret ordren. Endelig er det aftalt at jeg kan få pengene refunderet. Det er imidlertid ikke sket (dialog er pågået siden jul). Jeg har løbende rykket kundeservice som altid svarer, men jeg har endnu ikke modtaget pengene.
Extremely disappointed with…
Extremely disappointed with Matiasmoellenbach. I ordered a product months ago, paid upfront, and despite multiple inquiries, it still hasn’t been delivered. The customer service is non-existent — I only get vague responses with no real answers or updates. I’ve been promised multiple delivery dates, but none of them were met. It’s incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. I would strongly advise against buying from them.

Jeg bestilte et gulvtæppe tilbage i august, som stadig ikke er kommet, og pengene blev trukket med det samme. Jeg har flere gange rykket for en opdatering, og kundeservice svarer hver gang og rykker deadline for hvornår de forventer det ankommer. Seneste update siger nu februar.
De svarer altid på engelsk og uden navn på vedkommende der svarer - det synes jeg er så utrygt. De tilbyder heller ikke reduktion i prisen grundet forsinkelse eller pengene tilbage. Er ærligt i tvivl om det nogensinde kommer frem. 3000 kr. ud af vinduet.
Vil ikke anbefale nogen at handle her.

Commande passée le 29 juin 2025, nous n'avons toujours rien reçu. 6 mois pour confectionner un tapis, on nous informe de problèmes avec des sous traitants situés en Inde ... pourtant sur le site c'est sensé être de Nouvelle Zélande. Des excuses dans le vent non suivis d'effets. Toujours rien reçu à ce jour.

I would not recommend buying there! There is no existing customer service. After I paid a rug in full and had to return it (on my own high costs), I’ve been waiting for my refund almost two months! No reaction from Matias Moellenbach. Great marketing…but I start to believe it’s a scam site!

Ordered a rug 6 months ago, paid in full 6 months ago. Continuous delays and excuses, they now claim it won't be ready until January. I came here and saw many customers have an identical experience. Clearly there is something wrong with this company. Business will not refund money. Matias Moellenbach is either totally incompetent or running a scam.

Vi har nu bedt om pengene tilbage efter 6 måneder, hvor vi har ventet på vores tæppe. Vi har kontaktet dem flere gange og hver gang er vi blevet bedt vente en måned mere.
Pengene kan de først refundere 14-22 dage efter, så nu må vi se.
Det ikke måden at drive forretning på og tror desværre ikke det holder ret lang tid.
wrong product or wrong company?
Ordered a pre-order rug that would take 12 weeks. After 13 weeks I asked what was up with the order. They informed me that I'd have to wait another 8 weeks. After these 8 weeks there was still no eta after which I asked to cancel my order and get a refund. This refund took another 2 weeks to pay. I ordered in April and got refunded (after continuous false delivery promises) in November.
Great carpet, some confusion
The carpet we ordered was supposed to be available, but there was a stock error. When we wrote because we didnt get any news, they reacted quickly and offered us different solutions. We chose then a different carpet that was available and we received that one quickly. The carpet is darker than on the website, but we are very happy with it and with the quality.

Extremely long wait, still no delivery after 8 months!
I ordered one regular item and one “pre-order” item on 18 March. It’s now almost eight months later, and I still haven’t received either of them. I understand what a pre-order means, but this delay is unreasonable. What’s worse — even the regular item (not on pre-order) hasn’t arrived.
I’ve already paid in full, and I’m starting to wonder if this company is legitimate. Very disappointing experience.
