Wrong order, rotten meat and zero customer service.
Firstly I ordered ribeye steak joint but what I received certainly wasn't ribeye. I'm not sure exactly what it was, maybe some kinda rump. I did contact customer services and initially they responded quite quickly. They requested photos and said they would investigate however I then heard nothing more. I waited all day and no further contact was received.
Eventually I decided to open the package to try to find out exactly what type of meat they had sent me. When I did the smell that hit me was terrible. The meat has obviously gone bad and was completely inedible,
I had ordered previously from this company and there were no issues but on this occasion i am disgusted. The wrong meat was sent, the meat was bad and the customer service was awful. Avoid this company!

Ordered Brazilian goucho ribeye turned up looks like rump if that with massive silver skin band no fatty eye in it appalling waste of money no happy one bit going to cut up and use at diced beef only thing it would be good for hopefully get a refund they can have it back

Good value for money
Steak and ribs really nice and good value one pack of lamb chops cut into nice size chops 6 in total the other pack the chops were really thick and only got 3

I had a problem with my delivery and…
I had a problem with my delivery and sent a email to you with pictures and no one bothered to reply to me I brought 6kg of bacon 5kg of chicken the box arrived smashed up and the chicken had burst open and had to get chuck it out what a waste of money 💰

Overall received good quality meat, delivery was great plenty communication. I was a bit disappointed with the pork chops had they got a photo with rind on but received with no fat or rind which was the reason I ordered them other than a supermarket

I've heard of meat supermarket,but…
I've heard of meat supermarket,but never ordered before.I saw many good offers with my first order.I don't eat much meat,but most of it is for my little dog,he loves it very much.The meat is fresh and excellent quality.The delivery is very quick and very well packed and kept cool.well done meat supermarket.

Not ordering again
Following my last review, I gave this another go hoping for a better experience, but it wasn't. The chicken had a yellowish hue, and 3 of the 4 breasts I've cooked so far were so tough I couldn't even cut through them with a knife, and when I did manage to bite into them the texture was crunchy, which was horrible. To make things worse, the 5kg bag arrived open once again, spilling across the box and the rest of my order, and it didn't smell great. I won't be ordering again unfortunately :(

British & Brazilian rib eye
Ordered both Brazilian rib eye and British ribeyes. Both are good with 11 steaks from each cut of meat and price was very good will be ordering again
Down side dpd were late by over 24 hours on delivery but this is out of the suppliers hands

Fantastic choice of meat
Fantastic choice of meat
The bbq chicken skewers are so tasty and succulent and only take 6 mins each side in the airfryer.
The chicken breasts are huge, fresh and best of all no water comes out of them when you cook them.
Butty bacon packs are really worth the money.
Beef burgers are full of meat, taste awesome and very filling.
Have ordered from The Meatsupermarket 3 times now and not been disappointed.
Might need to buy another freezer 😂

The quality of the meat is terrible
The quality of the meat is terrible. The packaging arrived damaged. I ordered £107 worth and it came with 2 small ice packs that had completely melted in this heat. The meatballs had no colour at all. The burgers and mince were brown/grey. I’m not even going to eat it. It’s all vacuum sealed I cannot stand mince when it is packed like this. All squashed together like a giant burger. That wasn’t the worst part of my experience, I complained and requested a refund. They accepted no accountability and told me to try the food the food and then get back to them. I don’t think so! Never again!

The majority of our meat products are vacuum sealed to help maintain freshness, protect the products during transit, and extend their shelf life without the need for preservatives. As a result, products such as mince will naturally be compressed within the packaging and return to a more normal texture once opened.
Vacuum packing can also cause fresh meat to appear darker or brown/grey due to the absence of oxygen. This is a normal characteristic of vacuum-packed meat, and it will typically return to its natural red colour after being opened and exposed to the air for a short time.

Chicken is not size advertised it was awful far too big
Chicken was awful sizes I normally get 22-22-24 breasts and I got 16 they were far too big, cannot be roasted or pan fried at this size as rate too tough. I even checked and they said 22-24 breasts.
Not only this but the chicken bags had not been double wrapped and spilt all over the rest of the order. It had leaked through the box too.

While a 5kg pack will typically average around 22–24 breasts, the exact number can vary naturally depending on the size of the birds supplied. On some occasions, this means there will be fewer, larger breasts within the pack.
