Very disappointed with the way MetLife has handled my insurance claim. My claim has been ongoing for months, and every time I provide the information they ask for, they come back asking for something else. I have already provided hospital evidence confirming that I needed major shoulder surgery for a torn rotator cuff, but they are still delaying the claim. They also questioned why I didn't go to a hospital while I was in Spain. The answer is simple. I couldn't afford the risk of a large medical bill, and at the time I thought I had only pulled a muscle. I didn't know I had a serious shoulder injury. The constant delays have caused me a lot of stress and financial hardship, as I am still waiting for money that should have been paid much sooner.
I expected a much fairer and faster claims process. Based on my experience, I would not recommend MetLife.

If you get a woman called charlotte she is absolutely lovely and she explains everything clearly and all round does a brilliant job at what she does.

I have had a Met Life policy in place for a couple of years with no incident. Recently however I broke a bone in my foot and claimed . So easy , so efficient and so quick ! Brilliant

I am very thankful to the sales adviser when I took the insurance.
Things happened unexpectedly to us, my husband got ill.
I am grateful to the insurance we've got from metlife, it helps a lot during difficult time. Staff were very kind and helpful.

Scum… please READ every part of your policy with them… they have small prints etc to add rules to why you won’t get a certain amount etc but fail to mention these things when talking to them… they took off £10,000 because a small print I didn’t notice said you’d only get this much if this, on very small print… but when talking to them made out as if I’d get it. Until it came to the time of claiming it. Absolute scummy people… please go somewhere else if you want a legitimate helpful insurance.

It’s scam please do not invest l lost quite lots of investment.i am an international investor unfortunately due COVID the 2nd premium didn’t go through and they ask me to come down to India to do the medical. Which was impossibles for me as i working abroad. Even after the maturity they didn’t even pay single penny.
Think before investing in MetLife.it’s big scam.

The broker who sold this policy was great, but I am a little concerned now I see such a poor service from the company itself.

Really happy with these guys. Have protection as I play rugby and therefore high risk of injury. Claim was easy enough and payout was exactly as advertised.

I still haven’t received my policy documents as I wasn’t able to register on the app which asked me for details I was not provided with, although my policy started in Dec 2025, policy number EPS051017. I completed a survey following which someone emailed me with questions from a no reply email without providing contact details. If this is the metlife customer service then I might as well save my money and cancel the policy as this does not fill me with any confidence in their overall reliability!

Honestly, this is the worst insurance company I’ve ever dealt with. The claims service is completely unacceptable.

I took out two separate insurance policies at the same time—one of them paid out within two weeks, and for a significantly higher amount than this one. In contrast, my claim here has been ongoing since December. They’ve had all my required documents since 6th February, and it’s now 1st April with no resolution.

My case has been escalated multiple times, yet I receive the same generic responses week after week with no real progress or accountability. I’m constantly having to chase for updates rather than being proactively informed.

The lack of communication, delays, and overall handling of my claim has been incredibly frustrating. I would not recommend this company to anyone.!

Absolute joke of a company started claim at beginning of march still waiting for a assessor to be assigned been off work 6 weeks and now got another 3 weeks off and I'm in arrears thanks to metlife not paying out what I pay for monthly
