They've recently taken over Waltham Forest parking permits and what a complete mess they have made of it... Not to mention you used to edit your reg plate on your existing residents permit when changing vehicle. Now you have to cancel the old one and pay £27 to do this, wait upto 28 days for a refund, call Waltham Forest to tell them you've cancelled your old one. Finally you can apply for a new one and pay £235 ALL OVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!! UTTER SCAM!!!!!!!!

Very frustrating, multiple attempts to make payment and all suggesting a fault in the transaction. Try another card and this one flags a warning on trying to pay around SCAM websites. What on earth is going on with MI Permit.

Disgusting scam company that have been stealing money from my son's account for months. He mistakenly paid for parking using their app. He works for minimum wage and struggles. This disgusting company are happy to keep taking money even after the account was cancelled. Horrendous. Reported to bank.

I thought I'd be organised and pay in advance for my parking at George St multi-storey in Hull. The website had no warnings and the payment went through with no issues. When I arrived the carpark was coned off and closed. I had to hunt for two hour roadside parking, pay again and leave the event I was attending early to avoid a fine for overstaying. Of course the phone number for Mipermit wasn't anywhere to be found on the app. When I did call, they had all gone home as it was past 4pm on a Friday.

The worst service I've ever experienced. Shocking website and service. Can't login without having to always reset the password. Rang the helpline... rude, poor service. No help. Result in a fine because can't simply activate visitor permits in real life.

Horrible app. My experience with MiPermit was very disappointing. And now a few days later I find out I have been charged multiple times for the same attempted payment at 1 car park. Why is there only 1 shitty app option to pay in Chichester? When most car council car parks offer two. I use 3 apps to pay for parking when out and about. At least one of them covers most parking sites we visit while out on trips or holidays or general daily use. While parking in Chichester I wasted 20 minutes trying to get the app to take payment.

I paid online for parking in Broad Street car park, and £8.40 was deducted from my account. On returning to my car, I found a penalty notice. I’ve appealed twice to BNES, with no success, but have only just discovered that my payment had been taken by Wiltshire CC, not Bath. Obviously a glitch in their systems. I intend facing Bath in court over this matter.

So, I purchased an annual parking permit from the council. I download the MiPermit app, all good to go, you would think. I have been using for some months now, there have been issues, but i have patiently waited on phone calls and resolved them. Today, however, on trying to login, the app told me my password was wrong (autofill from Google). Being of a certain age, i keep some passwords in my wallet, armed with this password i try to login, binned again, wrong password. Next, click to reset password, get an email with a number code, put this in, binned again. I check the number and reput it in, no joy, i am now locked out of my account, so i have to pay £2.50 to park my car. I am not sure what the problem was, but would suggest that it was a problem with the app. How about making things simpler. The company has my email and i register my car when i purchase the annual permit, would it not be more efficient to have the car registration as the password? No-one else is going to use it as it can only be used on my car, just a thought.

If you remember Stone Age... Mipermit is just an extension of it from all points of view: App, Customer Profesionalism, and so on...

I downloaded this App in the city of Bath to Park as there was no other option. I texted them as instructed but could not get it to work and despite that they still charged me 15p Premium Rate for the text. I suggest Bath and the other areas that use this useless system switch to a real and trusted parking App such as those we all use everywhere else. I see they even charge 10p customers for a text to warn you the parking is about to expire unlike all the other companies. Sharks so avoid them!

Why do councils use this company? They don't respond to emails, and the customer service on the phone is appalling

App crashes every time I try to pay on the app. It's the same place I park every day. NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE!
Why is my council still using them?

For the fourth time, the parking app reported error, so redid the transaction, only to be double charged again. Tried ringing but kept on hold for 15 minutes and no answer. Emailed and wrote previously, but never replied. Am reporting them now to Wilts council as they are a disgrace

Waited for 35 minutes for call to be answered to no avail. Question was not covered in their Help pages. Will contact Council tomorrow but not holding out much hope

If possible I would give 0 stars. Confusing - just wrong from beginning to end. Never known such a mess, Barnet council had managed the permits very well so far.

The worst interface I have encountered. Trying to book a visitor permit is a nightmare. I started with my app and half way through process I got redirected to Sevenoaks DC website. Then it gets more confusing. After spending the better part of an hour I managed to pay. Then I get a message saying it would take 3, days to approve my booking.
Are my visitors supposed to give me 3, days notice of arrival?

Payment via google pay failed and i was not notifed. I emailed Mypermit and had no response. Worthing council gave me a ticket i appealed snd they say i selected the wrong date for parking. I had no way of checking that at the time of parking as a receipt ie issued 24 hours after parking expires.
