No customer service available!

There is a customer service number, but it rings out. The 'chat' facility is a broken AI model that gets stuck in a loop. I have paid for a phone, it hasn't arrived, and there is no way to contact anyone.

A simply appalling company customer service.

The pros: The phone I bought - Edge 60 Neo - I'm happy with it. The cons: the company is appalling to deal with. Despite being assured an order had been cancelled, it was delivered, not to my home as requested, but to a drop-off shop by the lazy, lying driver who claimed a delivery attempt - too bad for him we have CCTV covering our land- that plunged me into their Hellish returns process. Their A.I. is appalling, their customer service staff are at best useless, at worst downright malicious - ending 'chats' because I was demanding answers and a better service, or on one occasion because I could not type my necessarily lengthy reply - I was cut off. The returns process is onerous every aspect of it takes, quote, "10-20 days". For the return to the Netherlands, I was instructed I must print out Customs and other forms, a total of 7 ( four of which were identical) and have 3 countersigned by the courier who informed me they were not required but agreed to sign them after Insisted. Followed the tracking to the Netherlands, then up pops, 'package damaged', thankfully resolved in a day by re-packaging, but no 'sorry about that' nor explanation. Mercifullyy, the refund did not take the threatened 10-20 days, but the whole experience, the hours spent dealing with Motorola, the frustration of trying to get past the crap A.I. system, was very stressful, and I never once felt like I was being well- treated as a customer - one of the many who pay their wages. I urge you to think very carefully before buying directly from Motorola/Lenova - the latter who, despite sending me emails concerning the return and asking me to contact them if I had any queries, denied any responsibilty when I did, telling me it was Motorola alone I must deal with - so why say differently in the emails? The final insult: four days after querying why the refund had not yet been issued despite them having had the phone for a week, and two days after receiving the refund, I received an email stating there was a problem issuing the refund and could I supply my bank details. All that computing power, several different customer service agents, 33 -yes, 33 - emails, hours on the computer dealing with its useless A.I., just to return an order I was told had been cancelled - by the way, cancelled because they made their '10 per cent off offer' so unobvious throughout the buying procedure, only chancing upon it after placing the order. Computers, A.I., but where is the IMPROVEMENT in the customer service? It's worsening across the board. Whoever thought getting rid of direct communication by telephone is a good idea needs sacking.

Do not 0rder direct from them

Placesd a direct order via their UK site.

Sat pending stating awaiting payment confirmation - this after the payment was clearly taken from my account.

As things were dragging on I sent a request to cancel the order via their site and ordered from Amazon as they could deliver next day.

You would think that would be easy enough.

Of course not - got a reply from customer service saying my request had been passed to a higher authority.

Two days later have now noted my order has been processed and despatched despite sending a request to cancel it two days ago!!

Wished I had checked these reviews first.

The phones are great, have had them before, that is not the issues, its the awful UK site, dreadful customer service.

UPDATE

Now two weeks later still not resolved.

Told item collected by courier except UPS tell me they have not and both systems only indicated a label has been created.

So as things stand I am £400 out of pocket and they have stopped replying to emails.

They cannot confirm item despatched no will they refund me!

AVOID AVOID AVOID. Bank has been contacted.

Awful customer service and a return process that has left me having to contact my bank.

I bought a Motorola Razr 60 Ultra directly from Motorola and expected a straightforward return process. Instead, I have been left chasing unanswered emails, dealing with poor communication, and trying to sort out a return that should never have become this difficult.

The customer service has been extremely poor. Emails were ignored, clear help was not provided, and I was left with no confidence that the return was being handled properly. In the end, I felt forced to contact my bank because Motorola were not dealing with the issue properly.

Buying direct should give customers peace of mind. My experience has been the opposite.

Based on this, I would never buy directly from Motorola again and I would strongly warn other customers to think very carefully before doing so.

I have been online trying to contact Motorola, even tried the WhatsApp chat, doesn't work and yet unable hence me leaving this review... Absolutely shocking.

Motorola Customer Service

I bought a Motorola Razr 50 at the very end of Nov 25. It was delivered 3/12/2025 and arrived with a scratch on the side. I started a return on 4/12/2025 through their website (no other option), after completing all the questions, the website stated I would be contacted within 24 hours - nothing happened. I did this three times, no response whatsoever.

To condense a very long, drawn out story, I finally (after days of trying) got through to someone on the chat facility (whose name was DARKO). Several messages were passed back and forth and Darko promised this had been passed to the "sales team" and they would contact me....NO CONTACT AT ALL. This went on for weeks, I was told because it was coming up to Christmas they were very busy and I believed them, I mean, why would they lie?? I then directly messaged Darko, probably 6 times and my messages were ignored, totally and utterly!

I started to look on the Internet for the address and telephone number for Motorola, 3 numbers I found and all were unobtainable. I spoke with citizen’s advice (and Which) who pointed me in the direction of their website to get the “standard” letter before County Court proceedings could take place. I then had to find the address and there are several listed on the Internet. I picked 2 and sent them off by recorded delivery. One of the letters came back “gone away”…really????

Anyway, no response (no surprise there!) Then I had an idea, Motorola are owned by Lenovo, so I found a telephone number for Lenovo and called them and someone actually answered. I briefly explained what was going on and I asked for a valid telephone number to call Motorola. She said that she would have to ask her supervisor, I have to be honest my heart dropped, but I was very surprised when she came back and gave me a number.

I called and I got through to an actual person – we were now into March 26. I told my story, this gentleman was very sympathetic and promised me faithfully that he would pass all relevant information on to the sales department and he assured me that they WOULD contact me. At the end of our conversation, I took his name…his name was DARKO….what’s the chances of 2 people with a very unusal name like that working for Motorola UK?!

A week later I had an email stating TNT would be in touch to pick up the phone, they did. I had a receipt from the driver and I tracked the package all the way back to the Netherlands. I was very dubious about getting my money back; after all, they now had the money and the phone. But, at the very end of April 26, I finally got my refund.

It took FIVE MONTHS. Please be aware when buying directly from Motorola, their customer service is beyond words. It’s taught me a lesson – always check Trust Pilot before you part with any money.
These are the numbers I used
Lenova number: 0203 467 4050
Motorola number: 0800 954 1054

***MOTOROLA MOTO E13 ANDROID PHONE***

***MOTOROLA MOTO E13 ANDROID PHONE REVIEW*** So i have to say i am using this phone at the moment as i broke my iphone 16 so until i can get another im using the Motorola Moto E13 and first of all...Oh my F-ing GOD!!! This phone has to be the absolute WORST the most CHEAP the most POORLY made Motorola android phone i have EVER EVER EVER had to use!!! Slow is an understatement I've deleted nearly every single app hardly any photos or videos or files on it to make it run any better or smoother and it does not make a difference it freezes it constantly forces me to close apps I've opened due to them not responding, takes upto 2 minutes to actually open and load apps (yes I've actually counted the length of time it takes to open apps) it should be seconds not nearly 2 minutes! Honestly it's actually embarrassing when your at work or someone asks you to search something or do something on your phone and you spend ages trying to open an app and so the simplest of things and they're like have you done it yet!?! And I'm still waiting for the phone to load up an app it's absolutely appalling how bad it is and just to add to the slowness of the phone, while I'm waitig for it to complete and load up what i want such as opening up the text message app to reply to a message the keyboard takes time to load up then as i go to type the screen freezes up and stops responding and stops registering my screen taps and scrolling will stop all of a sudden so if i them tap very hard and very harsh or put extreme pressure on the screen and drag my finger or thumb down the screen to the point I'm nearly cracking the screen it will suddenly kick in and start working, not always so the next thing i have to do if the screen is totally unresponsive im the middle of a text i have to repeatedly press the lock and unlock side button to refresh the touchscreen!!! It's an absolute nightmare piece of SHiiite! It's not even like it's a very old dated phone or like I've seriously damaged it, the screen is not cracked or even scratched, I've not dropped it once it's in good condition so the only answer is it is the most appalingly poorly made Motorola android phone they've EVER released in the UK! So if you've ever had in the past that feeling where you have had to physically restrain yourself from smashing your phone off a brick wall and stamping on it until it resembles crumbs....well i have many many times with this phone with how angry it gets me! I've had to put up with this monstrosity of a phone for just over a month and next week i get a brand new phone once again and i tell you what on the day i get my brand new fully functioning user friendly phone delivered i am going to happily walk outside my house and I'm going to launch this Motorola E13 phone so F-ing hard and so violent straight at the brick wall on my house repeatedly until it smashes to pieces or i might get a sledge hammer and just obliterate it!!! I seriously cannot wait! So if you read this MOTOROLA just know you should be ashamed of the abhorrently cheap and poorly constructed phone you released on the world when your a company worth billions and billions but you happily and confidently sell android phones to people like the Moto E13....it's no wonder the only customers you reach with this type of mobile phone are the over 70s (as i was given this mobile phone from my partners father whos 88) because other than pensioners I've never EVER in over 20 years knew anyone personally who would deliberately purchase your Motorola android phones....that speaks volumes to me and shows how it's only the elderly who don't understand or realise what a quality mobile phone nowadays should be like and the fact the elderly will not utilise practically 90% of the phones functions/apps etc and only need it for it's most basic functions and apps but the 1% of people like myself who have had the horror of having to use and live with a Motorola Moto E13 phone - luckily temporarily - i can now honestly and truthfully say i now know why nobody under pension age would waste their money on your mobile phones and why they are a mobile phone thats remebered in the past and why your mobile products should stay in the past and why your mobile phones will never and could never compete in the present mobile phone market in 2026 and also why Motorola should be extremely embarrassed that you can purchase an android phone for as little as £140 which are proven to be 1000 times better build quality and pack in a 1000 more quality functions and applications than your products could ever have that Motorola will charge double or quadruple for a Motorola handset is just mind blowing and disgusting and i suggest Motorola stop releasing these horrendous mobile phones on the public and stick to radios instead I really cannot stress how poor this phone is. Yes it's a budget product but you don't get budget you get so below budget.

Awful communication - no follow up of complaint despite many emails

It took me almost 3 months to get the phone I wanted (July to September) with the key worker discount - even though the system said I was eligible it didn't transfer the discount code. I flagged this immediately to customer service - who when you could get them on the phone (which is now not an option at all) were polite but ultimately could do nothing other than pass your issue on to another department. This referral (about 6 or 7 times in my case) NEVER resulted in any contact back. My issue was eventually part solved but the headphones they sent me never arrived (as confirmed by the courier website) and they have not at any point got back to me to resolve my claim - this is despite another 6 months and many conversations with the useless AI and emails to customer service. I've always bought motorola phones as cheap reliable tools (for me and my kids) but I will never get anything from them again. Customer service and communication is simply unacceptable, I've never know anything like it other than from scams!!

Please read my review before you consider buying a Motorola phone

I bought a Motorola (pay as you go) mobile phone and always rang to top up my credit, using my credit card. This worked well for me. However, when I try to do this I'm now told that this service is unavailable and that I have to either download an app, or buy a voucher to top up. I can't get out to buy a voucher (due to health/mobility issues) and don't understand apps. I have no-one who can help me, and the purpose of having a mobile phone was so that I could dial for help in an emergency. But, I won't be able to do this for much longer as I can't top up. I tried speaking with customer services who told me that there are no exceptions to this - even for someone in my position - and they offered to help me download the app, but I just don't understand apps at all. Is this really the way to treat a disabled person?

I paid in full for a new phone last…

I paid in full for a new phone last Thursday - Today is Tuesday and I am still awaiting delivery. I sent a query regarding to customer services regarding delivery, and the answer was as follows:

'Your current order status is waiting to be shipped. The labels for the delivery have been created.'

So - in three days they managed to print a label but not send the item - This is a joke! Beware when making an order from this company.

PLEASE AVOID, read all reviews

Holy, I do not know where to start. This company is so bad to deal with. There is no phone support, only WhatsApp chat, and they do not reply to emails quickly enough. When I wanted to return my phone, it took over three weeks for them to even issue me a label. The phone was returned for over thirty working days and I had not been given a refund.

After forty working days since returning the device, I finally received my refund. How is this company even allowed to operate in the UK if it does not follow its own process, which states in the email “two to ten working days for a refund”...

Please save yourself the hassle and buy from a third party such as Amazon, eBay, or even SIM companies. The phones are good, but the customer support does not care at all.

Worst case of obselesence I know

I have had Motorola phones for years, but no more. G73 5g was first issued Jan 23. I bought it in probably July 23, with Android 13. It received the update to Versiin 14 in October 24. Now it is on their site as life expired and can get no further version updates. Absolutely terrible. Not even 3 years of updates. Motorola must have the shortest obselesence of any mobile phone surely. Just about to change my phone now. Motorola will not get mine nor my wife's, nor my friends and families business again, they will be warned as I am usually asked for a recommendation and say Motorola, no more. This will not be my last review on this phone and the disgusting treatment of loyal Motorola customers.

I bought Motorola charger 24/2/26 online at Motorla. Changed my mind 5 mins later. Completed ''reason for cancellation'' UPS package 1ZV8A297D930383540 has been sitting in local collection point for 6 weeks. 4 emails later and Resolver involved. No progress. UPS messaging simply kept repeating. It is only £30. John Lewis has simple policy 2 year no quibble guarantee and very simple refunds. Motorola mobility is deliberately unhelpful - garbage courier?; untrained staff ? bad distribution network? Those are not customers' problems.

I have my fourth Motorola handset in…

I have my fourth Motorola handset in succession, having recently moved from an Edge 50 Pro to the Edge 70. I have never had an issue with any of my four Motorola handsets. Motorola in my experience are attempting to continue in their off piest approach to the mobile telephone handset market and doing their own thing rather than racing shoulder to shoulder with other brands. The only issue I had with the new Edge 70 was Moto AI not working, an issue faced by a number of users. But, this was resolved by a very engaged customer service operator who finally worked out that the problems lay with Google Play settings. To date all is going well and I'm waiting for delivery of a pair of Motorola earbuds to begin building my ecosystem. It's going to be interesting over the next few months as Motorola push forward with both the hardware quality of their handsets and software development.

DO NOT BUY FROM MOTOROLA

I am reluctant to even give them one star. Genuinely the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Never ever buy a product from them.
I was given a razr 40 ultra as a Christmas gift after three months the external display stopped working. I took the phone to a local approved repair centre and was advised to return to Motorola for repair as it was still under warranty
I received an email from them telling me my warranty was now void due to a small dent on the screen which looked like screen burn and if I wanted it repaired it would cost £650!!!! If I didn’t want it repaired I would have to pay £30 to have it returned to me!!!!
Shocking service from a dreadful company. Moral of the story- stick with Apple, at least you know upfront what it’s going to cost

Be prepared to wait up to 4 WEEKS for a refund, or courier collection of your handset!???

If being valued and supported are an important part of your customer service experience, then Motorola/Lenovo are not the company for you! But if being lied to, blatantly ignored and grenerally having your time wasted are key aspects of how you want to be treated, then these clowns are consumate professionals!

I will never understand how an organisation that created something as amazing as the Razr 60 Ultra, also came up with this diabolical, unprofessional shambles of a so called customer service proposition. Unless they paid external consultants to create the phone in question.

I've been trying for over a week to cancel an order and still no-one has had the decency to contact me and make this happen, instead, all I've had is lies and delays and blatantly being ignored.

I truly recommend the phone, but not the joke of a Company, therefore, happily buy it from a professinonal third party seller, but you do not hate yourself enough to involve the Clowns at Motorola, an absolute disgrace of an organisation in your purchase! One to avoid...

As previous reviews do not buy from Motorola, if there is a problem… good luck!

As many previous reviews have warned, I would strongly advise against buying from Motorola.
I ordered a phone in December, but there was an issue with delivery. I contacted customer support via WhatsApp and spoke with someone named Viktoria. Since they couldn’t give me any clear delivery date, I requested a refund, which was confirmed. However, 10 days later, the phone still arrived anyway.
From that point on, dealing with the company was extremely frustrating. There is no proper way to speak to a real person—everything is handled through WhatsApp or email, and responses can take days. When I tried contacting Lenovo UK (as they are connected), I was told to contact a different Motorola/Lenovo email, which just added to the confusion.
Every response I received was a generic message like:
“Your case has been moved to the relevant team” or
“Your case has been flagged as urgent”
In reality, nothing was resolved.
Complaints were ignored, and I was left chasing updates for months. In the end, I had to involve my bank (I paid by debit card), who were very helpful. After more than 3 months of emails, delays, I finally managed to return the phone and receive a refund.
Overall, a very poor customer service experience and not one I would want to repeat.

Motorola Returns - Just don't buy from them directly.

Ordered a phone from Motorola UK, it arrived on time but was faulty (bottom speaker didn't work). I requested a return on their sales support form online, to which I received a reply within 24 hours stating that someone from the refunds team would be in touch, but that it would take "days". Several ignored replies from me to them, and WhatsApp chats that lead nowhere and I still haven't been able to return the phone 4 weeks later.

If anything goes wrong they are absolutely awful and simply won't help. You can't even perform a chargeback because they require proof of a return being accepted.

Bad bad bad. Don't buy from them directly.

I do think their phones are good quality though, so buy from a reputable store like Argos. Don't buy from them directly.
