9This PIP assessment company operates with a shocking level of professional misconduct, and I strongly advise anyone to avoid their services if they have any alternative choice. The entire process was deeply traumatising, handled by an advisor who demonstrated a complete lack of empathy and clinical sensitivity. Rather than recording facts, the assessor relied on highly inaccurate interpretations, biased assumptions, and fabricated conclusions that completely contradict reality. Critical questions were routinely skipped and my answers were cut short, resulting in a fundamentally flawed report that ignores my actual daily limitations. This is a highly unprofessional, predatory service that actively harms vulnerable individuals while failing to meet basic clinical standards. Now I'll need to explain to my doctors , therapists and other proffesionals that im perfectly fine and they are FOOLS as your assessor say so a simple nurse guy sitting 35min on the phone dont see any problems with me.so now I can cancel all my therapy and dr visits as your best proffesional nurse advise me that im perfectly fine and to go to dietician????.Shocking!!!!
Yeah he knows better then anyone !!!! He's a mega specialist with hes narrow opinion and 35min knowledge over the phone against years of documented proffesionals and them proper documentation .
How Brave to take responsibilities as a company for cancelling my therapies and dr visits as according to your nurse I dont need it anymore !!!!!!

So stressful the assmment was right out in the corner in the sea front .I had to get help to get their 40 miles away. Thank God my partner had a car. The asser was more in the PC TAPPING HER FINGERS ON THE PC . She keep saying bless .I and was over nice in a big attade towards me. The assmment was makeing more stress and my condition was getting worse I did not feel very comfortable at all from her attitude towards me by her tapping har fingers hard the pc. I have leaning difficultys and find it hard to talk to people and understand what's being said . I had to get up with my walking stick because I was in alot of pain with my bones and my hands have bumps in my fingers . I had my standard taken alway on top of this and refuse the high rate . And the assessment said nothing wrong with me I had doctors evidence she said the evidence was out of date .

I went a face to face assessment the doctor lied and lied about my condition this is at the Harrow branch I suffer from depression and anxiety I can't I can't meet people because the is a problem with my nose showed them all the medication they said I can handle my medication and I can meet people I got a big bandage on my nose I have a condition called vasculitis they didn't under stand never go there people they laugh at you the doctors name is Mr cyrus lumod and the lady on the phone is called shan I got my refused because of this it's not fair when people out there are lying and they get it messing around with my metal health

Zoe was amazing she understood everything I was saying and I was able to speak in confidence and she gain my trust. She was really understanding

In my application I made it quite clear that i am severely deaf with some profound loss. I was given a telephone interview which was a farce. My partner tried go help convey the questions. So intent was I on trying to understand the questions I lost track of my prepared answers. The hour's interview took 1 1/2 hrs. My blood pressure rose so high I had to contact myGP. It was like asking a physically disabled to be interviewed whilst climbing 3 flights of stairs for over an hour

Gross pervert Indian male assessor called Mani asked me during my PIP phone assessment if I change my underwear everyday. I was so traumatised at being asked this completely inappropriate question that I didn’t reply immediately and he actually repeated: do you change your underwear everyday? It is absolutely sick for a male assessor to ask an already vulnerable female on a one to one phone call for this completely unnecessary information. Independent Assessment Services did not take my complaint seriously. This company should be shut down. Shame on you!!!!

Can only give 1 as they don't do minus , had a lovely lady do my assessment then it got sent to the decision makers that's when it all goes wrong , I don't believe these, decision makers actually read the whole report, they certainly don't put themselves in the person's shoes they are judging , I also do not believe they read medical evidence supplied by consultants, I also think they pick and chose who they award it to they should walk in the persons shoes for a day then tell them they can cope , having an assessment it stressful enough
But then to have decision makers basically telling you there's not alot wrong with you is a total joke makes you wonder if they are MEDICALLY TRAINED to make decisions

Nothing but crooks they lie and trick you in to things. They claim to help you but they say and do whatever it is to get paid. PIP will tell you Atos are no longer providing assessment from Sept 2024 which is true. What they don't tell you is that it is pretty much the same staff and managers that deliver such a poor corrupt service. I was told that today from a member of staff. Staff make up lies and try to look for excuses to put the phone down on you. 10 days on and still waiting in 24 to 48 hour manager callbacks. They claim they tried calling and got answer phone and I don't even have one on my phone just call waiting.

Have had an appointment for an assessment call booked for a couple of weeks. I took the day off work. At the appointed time I sat looking at my phone waiting for the call. After waiting for 40 minutes without receiving any call (I did not move from my phone) I called them and was told I had missed a call 15 minutes into my appointment time to inform me they needed to rearrange the appointment for two weeks' time. This is an absolute lie. No call was received. Although DWP confirmed this does not affect my claim, this is on my file as having happened thus giving a false picture of the work they are contracted to carry out as a third party provider. Whilst I spoke with lovely people via DWP, the attitude was very hands off so IAS seem to have free rein to be dishonest sharlatans.

Absolutely shocking distasteful service and disgusting. They've dragged my application for almost a year, they've collected all information about me, absolutely all my details ever, copies of important papers, medical records, assessments, more phone assessments, time wasted, delays, bank details. Then again more documents for my supposed "payment". Shockingly after all that I've got a letter saying I will not be awarded any PIP, they've lied in my assessment, they've marked 0 points for everything even if I thoroughly explained my medical situation and they even denied my medical records saying there's no evidence, considering I have been through endless medical appointments by now and still on waiting lists for more, and they lied in the most absolute DISGUSTING MATTER that there's no evidence of my condition. I believe they're THIEVES that only collect your data and never actually approve anyone. I'm in a state of shock of how much time I wasted with this application just for them to LIE!!!!! TO SIMPLY LIEEEEE IN MY ASSESSMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WILL FURTHER PURSUE THEM TO DELETE ALL MY RECORDS BECAUSE THIS IS A DAYLIGHT MOCKERY AND ROBERY, WHAT DO THEY DO WITH ALL MY DATA IF THEIR DECISION WAS NEGATIVE SINCE THE ASSESSMENT? THEY JUST MANIPULATE YOU TO SEND A TON OF PERSONAL INFORMATION WHEN THEY KNOW YOU'VE ALREADY FAILED THE ASSESSMENT! THE ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE EVER, THEY SHOULD NOT EXIST, AND THEY SHOULD BE AUDITED BECAUSE SOMETHING IS VEEEERY WRONG WITH THIS SERVICE!!!!!!

Spent time and effort to just be told I had a phone call which lasted two hours then waited another few weeks to be told I had failed. This is all wrong how they go about it. There's people who are better then me and the get pip due to mental health issues. Just because I can be physically okay doesnt mean I am mentally all totally a waste of time and space!

Terrible company don’t understand why the dwp even use these services have a life long mental have condition sounded ok on the phone and very understanding gave me 0 points on the assessment abosolute joke be prepared for a reconsideration and wait another 15 weeks good job I’m in no rush for them to assess me properly would give advice to record your phone call all the other bad reviews are legitimate

There's a reason IAS have over 95% negative low reviews. Are they completely in denial ? - because this page is a reflection of how bad the service is. It's clear the g ov wants everyone to work & pay tax to fund people coming into this country to milk the benefit system dry & to push s uicides to an all time high because of their discrimination. Britain is not great & it is broken & if circumstances allowed it I would not be living here. I sympathise with every reviewer here . This company is not fit for purpose & I doubt the assessors are qualified in anything other than to refuse claims & hit refusal targets to drive morale down . Doubt they are even Drs/ paramedics/nurses or physios. Health professionals hahaha . One big scam & they lie

I had an assessment with them and in my questionnaire about my health I provided them with everything regarding my health and was explicit in my description, medication, therapy, etc.

I spent an hour on the phone with the so called health professional that talked about everything relating to my health and daily living routine etc.

Alarmingly I received my decision for my application for PIP and I received 0 points for both daily and mobility components. In reading the assessors report it was unbelievable that she said there was issues with my health but I was not entitled to any points whatsoever and not entitled to PIP. It also did not mention two of the most important conditions I have that affect my daily living. I asked for a mandatory review that was obviously rejected by the DWP and the decision remained. I then applied for a tribunal and low and behold I was awarded PIP for both daily living and mobility components.

I advise anyone that has an upcoming assessment with these cowboys you ask for the assessment to be recorded in advance so that you are protected and the assessor can't manipulate, lie, whithold relevant information in their report.

I have been informed I may have an assessment review shortly so I'm ready for the so called professional asking me questions and will be asking their professional qualifications etc.

If people aren't aware IAS is a subsidiary of ATOS whom were accused of deaths of many disabled claimants. They are only going by a different name but still failing in the same way as before.

Good luck in assessments and please record your assessment and apply to a tribunal service if refused.

Dreadful experience, RGN didn't understand how to read scans of the body so entirely misrepresented every diagnosis made by doctors and consultants. This would not be allowed in any hospital, it's why doctors training and HE takes longer, it's more complex than the 2 years HE to train a nurse.

I can't find way to directly email the Independent Assessment Service (ATOS) - it's a fraudulent operation. The case against the DWP for the death of Jody Whiting is still in my mind as many will find dwp intrusive and incorrect assessments so tiring on top of illness, they may, as I do, consider just taking their own lives. Sure it will bring a smirk to the Chancellors face to see his ideological, medically unqualified push has caused and will cause more deaths.

I was dreading my pip review after reading the reviews here. But when my review appointment was going to be later than anticipated I had a courtesy call to ask if it was ok to call me an hour later and an apology for the inconvenience. Fabulous.
Call came from Zoe exactly when rearranged for.
Zoe was an amazing person to talk to, I didnt feel uncomfortable at any point and she really appeared to be listening. She was patient when I couldn't quite find the words and didn't rush me through anything. Its possible I may have my pip stopped after this review, who knows? but the experience (whilst exhausting!) was not the utter horror show I was expecting and so please don't assume the worst...like I did !

Just wondered if there are other Scottish folk who have had their enhanced benefit from PIP cut, since it moved. I was surprised not to get it again this year. To top it all the envelope prepaid was not fit for the booklet about my points which I am returning as I totally disagree with it. At least it was a good call handler I spoke to this time. In half an hour aswell!

Got a telephone cancellation on the day.
They called in good time. Call with physiotherapist for a walking issue which was good. Kind and respectful lady. It was tough but felt treated respectfully and not rushed. Seen my draft assesment and pretty much everything I said was on there and accurate. I don't know if I will be awarded PIP but felt I have been listened to and treated fairly by the assessor at least. I was very nervous as I had never done this before, but she was kind and no judgemental.
I wish everyone a positive assesment who is waiting.

25 minutes in waiting room to accompany my daughter for PIP interview. Phoned call centre and they said 30 minutes waiting is normal. Why then didn't they put the appointment time 30 minutes later? Amateurs!

I filled in paper assessment, they weren’t happy with that. Tried to book me for another consultation when I’d completed paper one already. I tried defending myself and saying why they’re trying to do second assessment. Finally found out it was because they wanted to ask if I’d give consent to contact my doctor as I’d declined on my form. I know as previous denied they state doctor evidence and refusal based on that. So trying to set me up to decline on that excuse again. Now they won’t say a time scale for a decision and gave me wrong number for team making decision.
