liers have clearly lied and then when i put in a complaint, said they are satisfied the woman did her job correctly
these guys are absolute scammers, liers and i have put a complaint in with DWP AGAINST THEM

Based on initial assessment in 2020yy, whereas it led to years of Tribunal case up to date - this service has become inappropriate to speech impaired claimants. So, this time I have a text message indicates assessment date/time but also says is going to be by route telephone call..... with me being unable to speak, so you can guess the rest. I am going to take it to a different Tribunal levels. Mind you English is my second language on top of that! Are they taking a micky on disability in people I wonder. Fine, such an event only fuels up to file more evidence than ever to win a dual discrimination case too.

Two video appointments didn't happen. no one turned on. After first one I received the rescheduling letter and few phone calls reminding on new appointment. When no one attended from IAS second time, I didn't get any explanation. Just was sitting and waiting, and waiting. My internet and phone are working fine.
Not sure what to do now.

I haven’t even gotten to the assessment part as it’s now been rescheduled TWICE. First time I got a call to tell me right at the time of my video appointment, saying the health practitioner wasn’t available. Rescheduled for today. Sitting and waiting for 15 minutes, waiting for someone to join the video call and nothing. So I call the PIP number and they tell me to wait another 15 minutes because the practitioners can be up to half an hour late. Called back after 20 min as still nothing and they apologised saying I should have been notified but the health practitioner wasn’t available!!! How can they run a service like this!? Now rescheduled for next week but I’m not optimistic in the slightest that it won’t get cancelled or that I’ll be stood up and have to waste my time again. Not looking forward to the actual assessment based on all the reviews on here- provided I ever even get to that stage! Horrible, appalling service. I’m lucky I don’t work at the moment as I would’ve lost two days worth of wages. Awful. This whole process has caused me mass amounts of anxiety and I struggle with my mental health as it is. Only upside is that the people I spoke to on the phone were nice and apologetic.

Typed out on my mothers behalf Mrs Joanne Murphy who failed her point scoring on the fact she can feed herself and prepare food very limited and does not need an aid she could not hold anyway and I help her to get dressed. With severe Osteoarthritis in her hands and wrists it’s not easy. The whole claim and appeal took over a year with me Joanne’s daughter filling out every form. My mums so bad now I even had to rip the envelope open and read out the Court decision.
I guess at 17 I’m my mums carer indefinitely as her condition is getting worse and has since she first applied to pip.
I remember a story in the papers saying a 36 year old guy on a dialysis machine was turned down and not eligible for pip so what hope had my mum got.
I feel sorry for my mum and worry about her mental health coping with pain daily and limited mobility due to severe hand and wrist pain.
Good job she’s got me to look after her I’m her hands now for almost everything.

A mandatory reassessment is always needed when these clowns are involved. I would recommend everyone record the calls with them. I don't trust them to record. And also ask them to record the calls too. The arrogance of the assessor was unbelievable.

Appointment was supposed to be at 11:30. They phoned and pushed back to 1:30. Then phoned and pushed back to 3. Wouldn't give me time to find a solution for collecting kids from school so had to reschedule.
Terrible thing to put someone through when they suffer with bad mental health and severe anxiety. Especially knowing that the last assessment caused so much mental distress it lead to self harm.
Now have to go through it all again in 2 weeks.
Husband lost a days wages, and will loose another day's wages in 2 weeks .

Report riddled with things that aren't accurate, some complete lies, some written to infer ability when it's not there. Pretended to be honest when writing something completely different. Brutal, upsetting, damaging. If you need to have an assessment with them ask to record it and take someone with you for support and evidence

40 minutes on the phone at 11....
applied the form since 2 weeks ago nothing happened.

I've been in receipt of PIP now for roughly a year obviously got denied the first time SURPRISE.... it states that any change in your circumstances you must let them know so I did this as was diagnosed with severe PTSD on top of what I already have plus my lower back is getting bad now on top of my neck! So mobility is getting worse..... I recieved a letter stating I've been awarded the same amount as before which is fine because its not about the money really and plus they have extended my PIP for a longer period. So come to payday and guess what I got less then half of what I usually get which is a massive difference. Micheala R. Done my assessment and lied through her teeth saying I'm on no anxiety medication etc..... the place is corrupt and I hope she burns in hell

My pip Assessment took place last year in October 2021 I had a phone Assessment and the person assessing me didn’t even want to know about the medical evidence I sent them this assessment person just kept telling constant lots of lies saying in my pip Assessment report that I can take a journey unaided which I said I can’t because having to take a unfamiliar journey on my own would cause me very severe distress and panic attacks and they lied about my daily living part to for example I said I find it difficult to take nutrition on a daily basis as I have trouble remembering and I needed prompting to be able to take nutrition if I didn’t have regular prompting from someone I would forget to eat and this would cause me to pass out and faint and make me become very ill but no they said I can take nutrition without any difficulty which wasn’t true and all the other daily living activities like preparing a meal Getting dressed and undressed washing and bathing budgeting engaging with people face to face reading I was scored zero points for these activities to these assessments need to be scrapped because I don’t know how these Assessment people assessing people get these jobs they should be ashamed of them selfs anyway a few days ago I just had my tribunal court hearing for my pip and guess what the tribunal panel awarded me Enhanced daily living 13 points and standard mobility for following and taking unfamiliar journeys I was happy when I got the outcome the thing is with the DWP and these Assessment people they treat the disabled like they are some kind of criminals having to appeal in court was the most stressful thing I have ever done this system really needs to change because it’s not a very fair system how dare they get me to appeal in court making me feel as if I’m a criminal so glad I got the outcome I deserved

The report states that I said something that I absolutely did not say. They have outright lied about something I didn’t say. I requested a recording but received no confirmation or instructions that it was being recorded. I’ll be seeing you in court.

She asked me was it what i wanted or circumstances why i did not have a relationship with the daughter i gave birth to by a child rapist at the age of just 14 so still a child myself,

Disgusting. Had a Lauren wheeler do my pip review. Thank goodness I applied for all my records under the data protection act. She has lied and a complaint will be going in with the nursing and midwifery council tomorrow. I looked at what she put tonight and she has blatantly lied! I don’t want her anywhere near my case from now on. Am absolutely disgusting way to treat people with mental heajth. I have complaints at the DWP and ICE all over this but she needs to be struck off!

Took day off work as wife deaf and can't do the phone call without me they rang on time only to say appointment called £150 day rate as self employed down. Where's my money

Its bad service, assessor asking question without referring to any medical reports...When I questioned her about the reports sent recently , she started looking and said( literally they just came an hour before and did not see them) ..I asked if the conversation is recorded she said NO..The questions are like police style trying to catch you lying and nothing important in relation to your health condition

Both DWP and IAS services are useless.. The misery is that DWP is not competent enough to read any medical reports especially if they are badly presented by the bunch of clown working at IAS..
I had a verteous hemorrhage in my eye which needs to be extracted according to the report and the assessor still asking what further treatments needed !!!

Waited roughly a month for an assessment only to be phoned at the time of the appointment and told there were no assessors available, so they were going to rebook my assessment for weeks later. Disgraceful. If I'd missed the assessment, I'd have had my disability allowance claim cancelled. I guess there's no accountability when you're a multi-billion pound private company (Atos) enjoying a cushy government contract monopoly.

I want to give zero stars but it won’t let me! They clearly need better trained staff who know & understand properly about the different disabilities & medical conditions they are assessing for. The person conducting the assessment didn’t listen to anything we said & the report pretty much contradicted it! An absolutely garbage service!

THIS IS ANOTHER ZERO RATING. I made one phone call, and within that 7 minute call, i've already agreed with every negative rating here. As per their own website and i quote "If you want your telephone consultation recorded, you should request this by contacting our Customer Services team before your appointment", the person didn't even know that was available, instead arguing that i'd have to as DWP for that information. Not only is this incorrect (under the Data Protection Act, and by their own actual website), as so called independent assessors, you the person being assessed, must be sent ANY RECORDED INFORMATION, to actually agree that was what was said! You would never allow your written statements to go to a court of law, without your signature accepting that is accurately what was said. Yet this bunch of absolute inexcusable jobsworths, say you can only appeal AFTER they send it to DWP. That's not only immoral, but i'm sure is not completely legal. WORD OF ADVICE, RECORD EVERYTHING,BEFORE YOUR INTERVIEW CALL THEM AND SAY YOUR OFFICIALLY REQUESTING THEY RECORD ALL WRITTEN AND VERBAL COMMUNICATIONS. DO NOT TRUST A SINGLE WORD THEY SAY.

If you have an assessment with this company insist and demand you record it, even more so if it is a phone call assessment, you will tell them the issues of your condition, they note the opposite and the DWP takes their word on the forms sent back to them over the application form and other evidence supplied by you, I got a copy of my assessment and over 80% of what I said was ignored and replaced with the direct opposite with what I told them, now looking at 12 months wait for an appeal with receiving nothing in this time, close to a break down here with the upset and stress caused by these people.
