Enjoyable 5 days holiday to Northumberland.
Booked a four night 5 days holiday to Northumberland with Nationalholidays. We enjoyed this holiday a lot.
The price was good.
The company's website was easy to use.
The pros:- Lots of toilet/rest stops.
The coach had excellent air con especially appreciated on the hot days we had.
The hotel was good in a good location on the Newcastle Quay.
Good food especially the breakfast.
Enjoyed the itenary & the tours, also had excellent tour guide Tom.
Excellent driver, David who was very good at his job & looked after us well.
Cons:- A day spent driving & picking up.
The coach toilet smelling.
Enjoyable holiday. Will book with National holidays in the future.

The call handler was polite and friendly. However i was disappointed by 2 aspects 1. The trip to Malvern Flower show is NOT picking up from Leicester
2. The 10% discount was not applicable unless i booked on line.

Don't bother, Rubbish.
The driver did not provide any commentary on where we were going, other than to tell us how long we had in each place. Market Bosworth was a complete bust, nothing there, apart from about seven shops and most of them were shut. Not worth having on the itinerary. Waste of money.

Only good comments for national…
Only good comments for national holidays.booking picking up timed well driver was good. Location very good.
Hotel room was not so good. Musty smell of damp in all the room had to use the fan. mould in bathroom,bathroom fan wasn’t working it explained the smell and Room very tight for 2 people it should have single bed.
Fridge was a good came handy for drinks etc.

When we was on our journey home we had to wait over 5 hours at the terminal for other buses to come over from calais because of an emergency on there ferry this could not be helped but the most annoying thing was absolutely nobody came to explain what had happened or how long we was going to be before our feeder buses would be arriving so we all sat all of this time with absolutely no information for a large firm it is not good enough especially when people have young children with them

We stayed in a lovely hotel with a lovely breakfast included.....the trip didn't have too many pick ups but had enough refreshment breaks...I couldn't fault this trip..even the weather was good...the coach had comfortable seats
