I am about to have a rant…. I apologise in advance, I do not normally do this but this is irritating me something crazy!

Ordered flowers from NZ Blooms for a special occasion and honestly wish I had just gone to a local florist instead.

Paid $74.95 for what was advertised as a beautiful deluxe arrangement of 6 red roses and some pretty white flowers in a mason jar. (Original size was $54.95 and I paid an extra $20 for the upgraded version…😒)
I also paid an extra $25.90 for a personalised card and delivery to our home as a surprise. Total $115.

What turned up looked nothing like what was advertised . Instead of 6 red roses, there were only 5 roses total and they were a random mix of red and white (not the major issue, but still). The arrangement looked tiny and nowhere near worth the money paid. Pretty, but definitely not what I had ordered.

Then there was the card… instead of a handwritten or properly presented message, they printed it on a piece of paper, stapled it to a receipt and coupon, then taped it to the top edge of the inside of the card. It looked lazy and incredibly unprofessional.

To make things even more frustrating, I’ve now had to call FOUR times to follow this up, only to be told that because the flowers were apparently “the same value,” I shouldn’t be expecting a refund. I’m sorry, but “same value” doesn’t mean much when the product delivered looks nothing like what was advertised or paid for.

For what was a $75 bouquet before delivery and additional fees, this has to be one of the most underwhelming wastes of money I’ve spent in a long time.

Photos and order details have already been sent through to the company and I’ve requested a full refund because this was nowhere near acceptable. I keep getting bussed around and “notes left” against my order for management to follow up, then nothing.

I should have gone to my local florists. At least then I would have been able to pick out and taken with me exactly what I needed. Rather than being mucked around like I have been over the past 2days🤦‍♀️

Absolute disgrace. Flowers arrived late, not as described and the petals had started going brown on the day of arrival. For 90 NZ dollars the bouquet had only 7 stems. They won’t answer emails or the chat box.

If -100 stars was an option, that’s what I’d be giving.

This has honestly been one of the most disappointing customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I selected and paid for a specific delivery date through their website, organised everything from overseas, and the order still wasn’t delivered two days later — with no communication, no accountability, and no proper update.

When I called to follow up, I was on hold for 20 minutes, only to be hung up on while trying to ask for either an updated delivery option or a refund.

The whole experience felt incredibly unprofessional and, at times, like a complete scam. Honestly, businesses operating like this should be shut down. You cannot take people’s money, fail to provide the service promised, and then ignore customers when they try to resolve it.

I absolutely will not be using this business again, and I highly recommend others don’t either.

We were extremely disappointed with the flowers we purchased for Mother’s Day. The bouquet arrived past its use-by date, with browning petals, poor quality, wilted and very small boutique flowers that looked nothing like the picture online. I have sent several emails with pictures of the flowers which were delivered late in spite of their policy saying they deliver on the same day if ordered before 1.00pm, . This experience has really let us down, and we will not be purchasing from them again. They need to be shut down. They're misleading and ripping people off. They should be ashamed of themselves. Where's this companies integrity. When I spoke to the company, he offered me a "store credit" I explained that I did not want a credit as I would Never use their company again, he refused a refund stating that refunds are only for "non delivery". Absolutely disgusting company BEWARE

Woops I should have checked the reviews before I used NZ blooms who came up on my search as a Wanganui florist, as I was sending flowers to my mum there. I found out the next day their in Onehanga Auckland. The website had an exorbitant tax added to the flowers ai must add. I paid over $100 to get droopy dying flowers that look like $25 woolworths flowers sent to Wanganui. So far they havnt been communicative via email. Just working on getting refunded, so will keep you posted

Absolute scam do Not buy from these scam artists, ordered $150 worth of flowers . 1. Didnt get ordered in time 2. Flowers were dead 3. The flowers that arived looked like a $15 bunch from new world . Tryed to contact they dont reply . DONT BUY

Absolute rip off, flowers looked nothing like the order. The flowers were Wilted, poor quality and missing some that were featured in the picture. It was also delivered early, yet the email letting me know it would be early was sent after. $120 to have flowers delivered that look like they've been stolen from the side of the road. Absolutely disgraceful for mothers day. Company has not responded to complaint, disgusting service. Do not order from this company!

I ordered flowers from the SAME DAY DELIVERY section of the site, a week in advance.

I got a notification on the day of delivery to say it's delayed for the day after. Great since it would still be my friends birthday that day. Following day I get another notification to say the flowers have been delayed further by another 4 days.

We were leaving the country on that day so couldn't collect them. I requested a refund and they refused.

Absolute joke of a company. Avoid at all costs...

Do not order from here. Ordered flowers with mason jar for Mother’s Day and it arrived late.
Also so expensive! Really let down by the look and size when you pay close to $100!!

This business has no business advertising beautiful bouquets. My daughter paid extra for same day delivery of mother's day flowers pink deluxe bouquet. What arrived was a shit bouquet of red roses and weeds that had been in transit for 3 days, arriving Tuesday not Sunday and wrapped by a toddler. Don't use this service you will be disappointed everytime!!! Customer service was crap too didn't care at all that it was days late and terrible.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Order made for mother in law in Northland on 07th May, in time for Mother's Day (10th May).
Nothing delivered on 08th or 09th.
No response from 'online chat' or emails.
Online chat finally responds saying flowers will be delivered on 16th May - 9 days after ordering.
Is this for real? I could grow the flowers myself in less time.

Flowers were dying, not the flowers in the picture, and a much smaller bunch than I anticipated. Shockingly bad.

False advertising!! How this business is able to continue to operate is beyond me. They promote themselves as a florist in the area of need then the flowers are shipped from Auckland!! It’s unacceptable they operate like this. I have zero faith of what I ordered arriving also and if it manages too the flowers will be far from fresh. Wish I’d checked the reviews. Do not use this company. And some one should shut them down for ripping people off.

Absolute scam. Wish I read the reviews first. Ordered Mother’s Day flowers with “next day delivery” with the florists being in the small town she lives in. Flowers never arrived. Just got an email to say the flowers have just been picked up by the courier in Auckland, which is hours away from where these supposed florists are. Stay away from this company.

Do not order with this company! Absolute sham , poor customer service. On Mother’s Day 2026 I ordered flowers for my mother and my elderly grandmother. After waiting at home for the flowers to arrive the delivery came at 8pm NZ time. I contacted NZ Blooms and they “thanked me for my patronage “ aka they couldn’t care less. Utilise your local florist instead. Upon further research also found out this is business is operating under another sham company “Bloomex “ spend your money elsewhere.

Pathetic , pathetic, I placed an order 4 days earlier for mothers day delivery, the order didnt reach home till 10.30pm, customer service is the worse i have come across , no appology, no one knows what they doing, based in Georgia, What i rodered is not what i received, made a complaint to the consumer act. Wish i could not even give them 1 star

I ordered a Mothers Day bouquet to be delivered yesterday (Mothers Day in New Zealand) and it was not delivered. I called on Saturday, the day before, to confirm delivery the next day and it was confirmed. Emails have not been responded to. I called their 'contact us' telephone number this morning and was cut off during the first call and the lady hung up on me during the second call when I asked to speak to someone about receiving a full refund for monies paid.

absolutely horrible, flowers didnt turn up, and customer service was useless. they kept telling me it was in transit and assured me it would be delivered that day, it never showed up and when i called, they told me it would be delivered tomorrow. do not order from them

When we contacted the company to address the issue, they refused to rectify the problem, citing their policy on floral design and the quantity of blooms included in the arrangement met their standards. This experience has really let us down, and we will not be purchasing from them again. They need to be shut down. They're misleading and ripping people off. They should be ashamed of themselves. Where's this companies ingrity?

Not only did the flowers not look anywhere near the amount in the picture, my mum told me they showed up with half of them dead! And the “card” was a note stapled to the flowers. Highly unimpressed considering how much you guys charge. I will not be using this company again
