Won’t accept any accountability and its is clearly their fault. It’s been 6 months and I’m still expected to pay for a pair of shoes I never received
Busy Day
We visited the Leeds store on 06/06/26. It was very busy, as expected on a Saturday, but I was served by a lovely young man, I didnt get his name but he was very helpful. (Cashier 4000423 WP) he was very polite and kind. Great experience. Only reason not 5 stars was the due to the guy I initially asked to get the shoe in my size. He did go and do his thing but just left us standing around until I went and found the guy who got the sale to ask what was happening. The original guy was now behind the till. Nothing to say they had it in my size or anything, I just found that a bit odd. Overall a decent experience on a busy day.

Terrible experience getting help from an agent! They said they wanted my details for security so that I could change my delivery address straight after I had ordered to the wrong address, and then they said they can’t change address for the delivery even though I placed the order 5 minutes ago! Awful customer service!!!

Ordered some shoes before lunchtime on Friday, paying extra for next day delivery on Saturday.
Got a notification from DPD that they leave parcels outside without notification - not ideal on a busy city street, where it could be picked up by anyone.
Changed delivery to my local Co-op, just a few minutes walk away.
Not delivered on Saturday, Sunday or Monday.
Email Office only to be told the parcel is being 'returned to sender' (presumably them?!) and that I have to wait for a refund.
Unclear communication, non delivery of my order, no idea when I'll receive my refund. Waste of time.

terrible experience. I purchased two pairs of shoes online to be delivered by DPD. The delivery was next day and DPD sent me a picture of where the shoes had been delivered which was nothing like my address. I contacted both Office and DPD who were really not bothered. I then got an another message next day from DPD to say once again my shoes were being delivered, however, nothing arrived. Office couldn’t have been less bothered, I then asked for a refund and was told that they had contacted DPD to ask that the shoes be returned to them and I would get a refund once they had been received. If my experience is anything to go by, I will be waiting a long time for my refund which was over £100. You cannot speak to anybody, when I asked that my complaint be escalated, I was told that isn’t possible, I have to speak with customer services, but you cannot speak with anybody, it is all online. Customer service is appalling, DO NOT BUY FROM OFFICE

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I’m extremely disappointed with how this company has handled my order.
My parcel has still not arrived after multiple delays, and I have spent weeks repeatedly contacting customer service for updates and a resolution. Despite this, I was given very little useful information and no clear timeframe for delivery or refund.
After explaining that I may need to pursue a chargeback through my bank due to the lack of resolution, I received the following response:
“Due to this there is nothing more we can do for you.”
At no point was the actual issue resolved — I simply wanted either the parcel I paid for or a refund. Instead, communication felt dismissive and unhelpful.
I understand delays can happen, but the way customers are treated when problems arise is what matters most. Unfortunately, this experience has left me with very little confidence in this company.

At least the majority of the reviews are 1* which is my assessment too! I placed an online order on the 16th May which was confirmed. The following day I was informed that my order had been cancelled! They said the shoes I had ordered were no longer available! I contacted customer services who were dreadful. Office shoes are owned by a South African company called Truworths; I am quite happy to share the email address of their CEO if it helps. Needless to say I will not be purchasing from them again; incidentally I have purchased 5 pairs of shoes from them in the past 2 months!

I’m absolutely disgusted by the service from OFFICE. My parcel was marked as “delivered to neighbour” by DPD, but the neighbour name provided isn’t even my neighbour’s name, and none of my neighbours have the parcel. The delivery photo proves nothing either — it just looks like it was taken outside my house with no open door, no person accepting the parcel, and no actual evidence it was handed over safely.
I never authorised a safe place or agreed for parcels to be left with neighbours, yet OFFICE have completely washed their hands of the situation because DPD marked it as delivered. Their response was basically “speak to your bank and do a chargeback.” That is not customer service.
It’s shocking that a company can take your money, fail to ensure you actually receive your order, and then offer zero help or accountability when something goes wrong. I won’t be shopping with OFFICE again and would strongly warn others to think twice before ordering from them online.

Well I wish I read the reviews before I ordered! Absolute scam of a company, made an order but my address defaulted to the old. Immediately noticed, tried to contact straight away to rectify. Sat on chat for 30 mins, no one answered sent an email no one answered. Had to ask the person at the address to refuse it, they have the cheek to charge me for delivery. It’s only £3.99 but it’s not the point, every other company gives a grazing period to cancel or at least contact, nope not this company and then they charge you for it.
They should be embarrassed by the reviews they have on this page

I went to the Kingston store this evening, the staff were fantastic. There was young lady behind the counter (Maybe Australian or Kiwi) and was amazing, she was serving 5 people at once and totally in control of the situation and so helpful and polite.
Only received 1 item and won't acknowledge any messages
I ordered 2 items in December for a Christmas presents, Nike socks and Birkenstocks. I received one item in my parcel but not the second item. I have been chasing Office ever since, requiring a refund for my second item, emailing, messaging via social media and the only response I ever get is that "Once we have an update we will be back in touch as soon as possible." This has been ongoing for 4 months and I am completely out of pocket.

Disgusting scam company. I returned two pairs of trainers from the same order in the same returns parcel, AND indicated on my delivery slip which I put inside the parcel that both items were being returned. Only got refunded for one item so contacted Office who said they would "investigate". Heard nothing for over a week and then they say they have checked with their team and only one pair of shoes was returned and their "CCTV" shows this too. I ask for them to share this evidence with me and they flat out ignore me from that point onwards!!!!! Have also tried reaching out via their Instagram and get the exact same responses and they are now ignoring me on there too. I have had to initiate a chargeback request via Halifax so will recoup the money there instead. Absolutely DISGUSTING lying scamming company - DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

Yodel failed to deliver my goods and I was directed back to Office, as with everyone else's experience I was unable to speak with anyone, tried the chat and kept on getting disconnected sent an email only to be told they will respond within 5 days.
Item bought as a present for my Daughter, would have been quicker and less stressful if I had gone in store to purchase even if there is no Office store close to me.
Cancelled my order 6 days after the purchase
Ordered shoes on the 27th of March.
On the 2nd of April they let me know that they can't fulfil my order, and effectively cancelled it. Without letting me know about the details of refund.
Couldn't even get through to their customer service.
The upkeep of their inventory is a joke.
How can you operate if you're selling things that are out of stock???? It's an equivalent of shooting yourself in the foot.

Well, I wish I'd read these reviews before, but because they a re a well known high st brand and I'd shopped there before, i thought I would buy some Stan Smiths. When they arrived, they clearly weren't stan smiths.
The box was in tatters. The label matched the box but was tied on with a piece of string and the branding just did not match what you get with stan smiths or what was on their website.
To be honest, i did get through to an agent on chat who tried to tell me they were what I ordered, but i disputed this. All they said was to return them for a refund - no apology or explanation. These guys found an old box and lable - tied it to a pair of (possibly) authentic adidas kids shoes and thought they could get away with it.
I will be taking them into a store to make sure i get a refund. I will NOT shop with them again.

Disgusting customer service. Would give a 0. Got sent worn slippers which were meant to be a gift for Mother’s Day and got blocked from emailing them further.
