I ordered from the store on Thursday. I was very sceptical as I had heard a lot of horror stories but I decided to try this one out. The items arrived today all nicely packed. I have one slight complaint and that is that one pack of the vegetables looks wilted compared to the others. Other than that, I am impressed with how the items were carefully packaged to ensure that they were not damaged in transit. I will likely order again.

It was my first time of using the service having just moved to a little market town with no nearby African store. I had just been disappointed with a similar online African grocery store and was therefore skeptical. I decided to order a few items just under £100 for a test. I ordered on Thursday, close to midnight and received my order well packaged on Tuesday with a complimentary drink. I was very impressed to say the least and will be using the service again.

When the order I placed arrived and I opened the box I discovered that the plastic bottle of Palm Oil had leaked all over the contents. I immediately contacted Customer Service and was told to email pictures and someone would contact me. I did this and received an email back apologising and saying it probably happened during transit and they would look into it. They asked, as a valued customer what action I thought would remediate this. I replied that the ball was in their court. I sent a reply reiterating the mess I was facing trying to clean and salvage what I could. I later send pictures of the items I had cleaned along with a picture of the Palm Oil bottle that was cracked across the bottom, which is where it had leaked from. I pointed out that the bottle had been placed at the bottom of the box with no packaging around it. I suggested that some kind of refund would be in order. I waited to hear from them and eventually got an email at 11pm apologising again and offering me half of the cost of the Palm Oil. I immediately replied that I found this unacceptable because apart from the time it has taken me to clean up the mess, one item could not be washed any more because it was in a cardboard container, which I had discarded and put the contents into another container, the plastic Palm Oil bottle was cracked and may have pieces of plastic inside. How could I possibly use it? I'm still awaiting a reply and eventually sent them an email at 20.36 the following evening, saying it was obvious to me that they had no intention of coming to a resolution and I would not be shopping with them again.

Delivery was fast, good quality and at affordable prices. would definitely shop again

I purchased Today , paid for regular delivery but I still got it next day ! Wow ! Everything fresh! I wasn’t at home when the items were delivered , when I came back in the evening, my meats were still very fresh and frozen because they put ice 🧊 cubes ! That was smart! I was really impressed!

I ordered different food stuffs from the website, the site was user friendly, description of items and what I received was as stated and shown on the website. The items were in good condition, well packed and delivery was swift.

I do recommend their products and I will definitely be patronising next time.

My first order was a disaster! Why 5*? I had a courtesy call from the store manager apologising for the way things were handled. After our lengthy discussion, I realised that on this occasion, it was not within their control. Long delivery delays, means, rotten food. He explained thoroughly, also about Ponmo and the discolouring, which was new to me, and about the yam. How could they control the yam from looking like that, after it was cooked? Even to buy from the market, does not guarantee a good cooked yam. It all made sense. I think the staff didn't handle the complaint very well, but, we learn through mistakes. I am sure, in fact, confident that after speaking to the Manager, things would improve. I am going to order again. I may be a bit more choosy in what I order next time round, because of delivery issues. But, overall, they tried! I needed to see the bigger picture. We all make mistakes, and this was not deliberate. I appreciated the call today. Thank you!

I'm an international student studying in an area of England with no nearby African stores, so this website is exactly what I needed. The website is easy to use, there's a wide variety of products and they delivered promptly.

I ordered the Ofada dry pepper sauce and wow it was so nice and tasty. Followed the instructions to cook it and although very spicy, i was able to calm it down with onions and sweet peppers.
