Massively inflated costs to fix issue

The engineers sent as part of my emergency cover attempted to charge me £132 for a part which costs £8. In addition to this, they attempted to charge me £350 labour cost.

A local plumber fixed the issue for £125 including labour and parts.

Be aware of what you’re being charged for with this company.

It is extremely difficult to cancel…

It is extremely difficult to cancel your policy once you get their insurance. I have phoned around and been passed around and found I had been transferred to a Platinum Club (Invitation only )against my will and discovered I needed to pursue them in order to have my policy cancelled. Such a time taker!

This is the first time I’ve had to claim on my insurance. I’ve been with one call for over four years and I must say this has been a really positive experience. Damien at one call claims was very explicit very polite very concerned and helped me navigate through the claim process.

Our car was stolen last October

Our car was stolen last October, recovered 2 weeks later and subsequently repaired so we thought all was good.
Yesterday we went to buy another car and was told it was registered as stolen recovery, this was an error by your company and made us look like criminals this should have been updated once the vehicle had been recovered, hopefully you have resolved the issue.

Same questions again and again

Same questions again and again, then because I want my claim to be handled by my actual insurance provider I get told I’ll be transferred and get cut off

First time I have insured with this…

First time I have insured with this company and I am so pleased with the professional way my claim has been dealt with. My car was hit by another driver whilst parked in a high street, I wasn’t even in the car, but everyone I have contact with has been helpful and thorough, I am so grateful for their support.

Bullying tactic …

I am having an awful experience with one call insurance.
My car has been written off,
I feel like I am being bullied into giving my bank details for an interim settlement before a settlement has been agreed. They are also saying I will be liable for the car hire if I do not give my bank details.
Will never use this insurer again
