My wife is english and she has tried the scottish food and she loves it this is about the 3rd or 4th time we have ordered from here im scottish myself and i do miss the scottish food alot my wifes favouite food is steak pie and beef olives aswell

I love shopping online with this butcher. I originally went to it for square sausage only to realise a plethora of scrumptious food. From healthy lean meats to yummy indulgent pies, their site has amazing choice. They do a lot of good value deals too, like pick'n'mix meat packs which are very worth it. Mostly good shelf dates too, equally it's easy enough to fill the freezer from a big purchase. Also, friendly service if you need to contact them.

Ease of ordering. Top quality Scottish produce. Kept in touch re delivery and prompt delivery on date as arranged.

Put in our first order for my partner to try out some tastes from home He couldn't be happier with the square sausage,well fired rolls,scotch pies and macaroni pies. Ordered orkney-wangus-picanha-steaks and orkney rib eye sreaks to try. My wife could not eat either steaks as they were so tough. I managed to eat mine but my jaw was aching before I was finnished. Possibly the worst steak I have ever bought.
Also bought 2 racks of lamb which were ok but up to the quality that we expected.

I ordered 5kg of Chicken Breast, some pies and sausages to be delivered on a Friday. I waited in all day like a spam until midnight, but no delivery.
Be very, very careful when ordering raw meat. Delivery time is so important. I would never deal with this company again and i sujjest you think twice.I may have to take them to court for a refund.

Fantastic produce delivered really well packed. Wish I'd found them sooner. A real taste of Scotland.

We have ordered from Rendalls a few times, so decided to get all our meat from them for Xmas and beyond, to fill up the freezers. We ordered nearly £300 of meat, including steaks, chicken, beef mince, pork fillets, ribs, sausages, etc., and it all arrived in perfect condition. We have eaten at least one of everything so far, and it is all excellent quality. The Orkney steaks are amazing!
The customer service is second to none - it is so refreshing to find a company that cares about its customers. They also deliver to our remote location in Scotland at a very fair price (many companies will not deliver here at all).
The freezers are still full, but we'll be ordering from Rendalls again as soon as we have room for more top quality meat.

Super service, I live in Devon and was sent an amazing box of meat, pies, square sausage, tattie scones and more. All the things I miss from Scotland, including tablet and a plain loaf.
Thanks to my brother Peter for the surprise delivery. Packaging was secure and the freezer packs still frozen, so everything fresh.
Will definitely order after Christmas.

Came across this butcher over a year ago online,and OMG as a Scot living in England they are a god send.All the tastes from home,at superb prices and delivered so quickly and packed well..I honestly dont know where i would be without them.I had one problem once,but was with how DPD stored the food in van,and Rendalls gve me a discount to same value for next order..keep up good work folks.

Received barbecue banquet pack for boys weekend away. online ordering easy and delivery when advised. Meat was exceptional and very well received. Would have no hesitation in recommending and ordering again

Got a meat parcel sent to me in Southampton from Stirling beautiful packed securely, and everything fresh square sausage,potato scones ,black pudding, Scotch pies, haggis, eggs plain bread and my honest opinion is 5 stars all day long everything was delicious im going to order again 😋

i have not recieved my iteams on the 9thjune i got in contact with them on the 12th june to find out what was going on they told me the gps on dpd said it got delivered to number 7 the photo does not show any door number i asked for a full refund

13th june i got a email saying they have refunded me the money which i was greatful for

i would recomend them to friends and family

Can’t wait to have my Scottish breakfast, I will definitely be buying again next month. Nice touch with the bread and well fired rolls, macaroon and tablet included etc. well done rendalls.

I placed an order for 750 grams of diced Wild Boar (for a special occasion dish) and for some assorted burgers of unusual meats.

The boar came in three packs and one of them was grey and smelled peculiar. I sent an email to Rendalls with a photograph and someone called Christine replied telling me it was because the third pack was a different cut of meat (striploin), due to them running out of haunch.

After receiving the email I put all three packs together and put the meat in a pan to sear it before slow cooking in the oven. The heat made the bad smell much worse, and I was worried so I asked a chef neighbour for advice. As soon as he entered my kitchen he straight away said the smell indicated tainted meat and I should not eat it, so I threw it away.

I then sent another email to Rendalls and they did nothing. They did not even reply to my message, leaving me without my special meal, out of pocket, and extremely disappointed.

I have only given two stars because the three types of burgers were delicious, but the overall experience was not good.

Update 22/3/22: After leaving this review, I was given a refund for the Wild Boar cost. Thank you Trustpilot for your influence.

Received on time today well packaged just a fault no instructions to cook the pies Buckfast I would like to know what temperature and time please I did look for a label?

Excellent company, ordering was easy, meat looks delicious. Came so well packed the ice bricks were still frozen,that considering it was shipped at least 24 hrs previously is amazing. The only downside was the delivery driver who left the box in a communal area rather than my safe place.

Had my first delivery today was very well packaged so excited to be having my scottish food again great products and value will be ordering again
