Very expensive replacement fittings
Ordered replacements for original light fittings that had deteriorated (more quickly than they should have done). Parts arrived as ordered, and very promptly. Even with a modest discount, however, they were ridiculously expensive. Service person was very helpful and efficient.

The quicker-than-expected deterioration of the lamp holders was due to excessive heat from the bulbs used, whether they were too high wattage for the fitting or low-quality bulbs. We’re sorry to hear you found the price expensive. Please bear in mind that everything is manufactured here in the UK responsibly, and all components are sourced locally as well.

Finish is a bit disappointing for the price.
I was expecting a better finish of the cast steel for the price. Also the technical information is lacking in terms of light levels.

I am sorry to hear the product has not meant your expectations on this occasion. The galvanised bracket you have purchased is made from casted iron and then galvanised using traditional techniques. The light is not supplied with a bulb so light levels will depend on the bulb you purchase but if you would like any technical help in choosing as suitable bulb please do get in touch as we would be happy to advise.

The lamp was wired incorrectly with…
The lamp was wired incorrectly with leads tangled around the frame. It took 2 skilled electricians 1.5 hours to correct, at first they didn’t think it would even be possible. I have another 4 BTC lamps but was disappointed in the quantity of this should have been checked before dispatch.

Great customer service
Wanted to change a product after realizing that the product which I bought did not fit the color in my bedroom. OBTC was wonderful, no questions asked, very positive and friendly and I could exchange for a different product without any issues.
