Ok so im going to be as objective as possible.

My Background: Ive been editing short and long form productions for years with tie-ins to major terrestrial channels. Ive received various awards inc Edinburgh Doc Award for editing.

The BIGGEST gripe i have is the lack of customer support. I have written 4 times to customer support requesting information. I have not once received a reply (checked spam etc). This in my opinion is unacceptable.
I have numerous plugins and have been a member since 2019.

Their plugins are not bad at all, however if you want customers with longevity/loyalty then i would suggest this attitude needs to change - answer the emails/chat room messages!

Im am now considering buying from another provider. Customer support is the most important aspect of service regardless of product or services.

If i actually receive an apology for the lack of response, i might consider changing this review.

I buy long time before this plugin Photo Snapshot, ProDenoise and other other plugins but not work when i have had my M1 MBP.
Last week, i download the last version, i have re installed, no work still

I have had plugin from different sites but the simplicity of Pixel Film Studios Plugin are just on another level.
First of all they don't make the machine slow, they are supper light and easy and fast to install.

Second, they have soo many plugins variety an you rarely can miss any plugin, from text, 2D, 3D... you name it. It's just a one stop shop! I love it.

Thirdly, their customer support is off the chats, I was having problems while installing some plugins after I changed my laptop and the guys (agents) took me through what to do and now the plugins I installed are working perfectly.

I have almost 20 Pixel Film Studios plugins and each one provides me with something that would otherwise take me ages to create or indeed would be impossible to do otherwise.

In addition, when searching around for a particular plugin, I do find their pricing very good - sometimes saving a LOT of money compared to other sites.

I have had the occasional issue with the dreaded red screen on installing, but I have to say their customer support has always been able to resolve the issue quickly, and again, considering their competitive pricing, it's nothing that has clearly put me off!

Impossible d'utilisation sur les nouveaux Mac, après avoir suivis les conseils très fastidieux sur le site pour contourner le bug ... ça ne fonctionne pas.

J'abandonne cette marque, à fuir !

Looking at the products I've purchased from Pixel Film Studios clearly indicates that I LIKE THEIR PRODUCTS. I've even purchased the Birthday and Christmas themed works! But most importantly, their products work. And when they don't (as update are always necessary) they have a live chat. Today I talked with Chloe who worked me through the solution. If you asked me a year ago, I'd tell their PFS Installer was wonky. But with the 2.0 update it works very well. Now we just a "Frequent Buyer" program!

I have become increasingly impressed with Pixel Film Studios. The fact that you can get instant real time support with their live chat is a HUGE plus. And the quality of the plug-ins has been terrific. I especially want to highlight how much I have enjoyed using FCPX Electric. Such a fan and easy to use product that looks fantastic! Keep up the fabulous work, gang.

After upgrading my MAC OS to 13.1 Ventura,
many of my Pixel Film Studios had issues.
Inculding the excellent Stabilizer 2.0 which is a wonderful tool to stabilze shaky footage which is too shaky for the FCPX stabilizer. Anyhow I received a red screen and the PlugIn didn't function. I tried several advises I found on YouTube, like backdating the PlugInscripts etc. nothing worked, I even made things worse.
So I approached Pixel Support. They answered fast and gave me instructions based on screenshots they requested. After 2-3 exchanges were the support was very patient, the problem was solved! Very conviniet is the PFS APP.app which allows an easy install and uninstall of your plugins you have in your account at Pixelfilm studios. So a FAT Thumbs up for this supper support.

hatten viele meiner Pixel Film Studios Probleme.
Inklusive dem klasse Plugin Stabilizer 2.0, die ein wunderbares Werkzeug, um shaky Filmmaterial, das zu wackelig für die FCPX Stabilisator ist zu stabilisieren ist. Jedenfalls bekam ich einen roten Bildschirm und das PlugIn funktionierte nicht. Ich habe verschiedene Ratschläge ausprobiert, die ich auf YouTube gefunden habe, wie z.B. das Zurücksetzen Backdating der PlugInscripts usw. Nichts hat funktioniert, ich habe die Dinge sogar noch schlimmer gemacht.
Also habe ich mich an den Pixel-Support gewandt. Sie antworteten schnell und gaben mir Anweisungen anhand von Screenshots, die sie anforderten. Nach 2-3 e-mails, bei denen der Support sehr geduldig war, war das Problem gelöst! Sehr überzeugend ist die PFS APP.app, die eine einfache Installation und Deinstallation der Plugins ermöglicht, die Sie in Ihrem Konto bei Pixelfilm Studios haben. Also ein FETTES Daumen hoch für diesen tollen Support.

I needed to uninstall and reinstall numerous plugins after upgrading to a Silicon Mac. The customer support experience was the best I have experienced in a very long time. I am so relieved to have resolved the issue with a rep who listened to my responses and provided help perfectly at my level. I am now much more inclined to use PFS plugins, as I know they will work, and I can count on them. Kudos!

I'm not using all the plugins very often because I dont have time to it. But each time Mac has an update and something went wrong with the plugins due to that, the team has helped me to fixed the issues and keep my plugins running. So in general I have troubles and I'm quite fine with the service.

I am a customer since 2016 and certain plugins helped me a lot in various situations of workflows.
I just had a problem with an installer of a new plugin version and the support team helped me thoroughly and professionally to the solution so I can continue my workflow.

What I first thought was an insurmountable problem (a plugin not working) was quickly and efficiently resolved by the very helpful PFS support team. 'Maps' is a great plugin and adds a nice touch to my FCPX travel projects. Maps and PFS are both highly recommended.

I do like most of the plug ins, however sometimes they don't do exactly what I expect. For instance, I have a title plug in with movements. The title has to be a certain length or it won't do the movement it's supposed to do. I don't use it because it's typically too long. I wish I would have known that or I wound't have purchased it. Maybe that will get updated in the future. I've also had problems downloading things in the past, but with the new app, it seems like it went a little smoother. Overall, I do like having the option of using the plug ins and I keep coming back to look for more.

Plugins do not run on M2 Mac. Probably not on M1 either as PFS website announces a free update "soon" for M1. The M1 processor has been around for more than two years... so what have they been doing at PFS? Hybernate?
I have been working with FCPX Maps 1.1 for a few years, which was cumbersome, but now it's over I guess.
I also have FCPX Motion Blur, which is advertised as M1 compatible. Forget it. Just red screens.

I have been using the plug ins they make for Final Cut Pro for along time. They always work and are designed to help videographers life easier by using their products. Not only do they work, if you ever have an issue, they will help you get it right.

I had a tech issue and tech support was AWESOME! Walked me through the process and got me up in running in a few min.
