Amanda the representative was just amazing - friendly, polite and very efficient

From point of enquiry which was answered by Anthony Butler who answered all my questions and provided all necessary information of time scales in realistic terms.
Anthony followed up with a visit measured up and provided a quote.
Anthony provided up dates and came to fit my plantation shutters with efficientcy and tidyness and was very mindful and respectful of my home.
The shutters have transformed my new home, I am more than pleased with service (2nd to none) and product, thank you.

Very Happy with the Service and the Chair Coverings

This has been a dreadful experience. Plumbs were to re upholstery my Cintique three seater settee and chair at a cost of over £3000. It was returned to me in a terrible condition and all the springs were removed and a front wooden baton which gave it stability. At almost 80 and osteoporosis it's been rendered unsuitable for my use as it's far too low. This was all done without my permission. A lovely man came out last week to assess it. His report was going to Plumbs that afternoon. I have heard nothing. Spoke to customer service an hour ago wanting to know what's going on. The lady said she would get someone to call back but I know they won't as they never do! This has caused me so much stress and upset and I am hoping by putting this review it will make Plumbs take the situation seriously

"Fitted" loose covers become wrinkled after a few minutes of sitting in arm chair
I tried to cancel visit by taking time to call Plumbs a few days before arranged visit as no access to property due to road resurfacing
Fitter was not informed of this and had to carry Plumbs chair cover along the road
Thankfully it was not raining!
Fitter did his job well but new cover not worth the cost

After contacting Plumbs the process went through seamlessly. I was more than satisfied with the process and with the personnel I was in contact with. I am very pleased with the finished product and wish I had done it sooner.

Barbara, who came to our house to talk through upholstery options was so thorough and knowledgeable about Plumb’s products. She took time to take us through the process, select fabrics and colours with us. She has a great design background and was very personable.
Our new covers arrived well before the allotted date, which we were pleased about. The fit was absolutely perfect and has completely updated and renewed our chairs and sofa. The quality of fabric is excellent and robust, we needed that with our boisterous dog. We paid extra for a stain resistant covering.
Barbara returned with the new covers and spent time showing me how to put them on my furniture.
The whole process was so professional and customer service was excellent. The covers were a bit more expensive than I had budgeted for, but you get what you pay for.

The agent who came to the house to measure our furniture and assist us with choosing the material was very nice and helpful, the only disappointment was when she came back to fit the covers for us one didn't fit properly and all the backs of the others had the wrong zips on so all had to go back and be redone

Service provided by Plumbs was very disappointing. Spoiling the whole experience.
Issues with the Plumbs salesman/fitter were extremely difficult (there were personal problems, not communicated to the company by this person). I needed to continually chase for information & final resolution of order. There was a total lack of communication with the fitter & company. With the exception of 1 customer service lady who tried to help. Even though I requested information Plumbs seems unable to communicate me & resolve the problems
After several months I now have a new curtain track & set of curtains, the whole experience has been very worrying & disappointing. Would not order from this company again or recommend it to others.
