After placing an order, it was packed, despatched and delivered in a matter of days. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong part! However, the return was authorised and a replacement ordered. Again, the wrong part was ordered and the cycle began again. The turnaround from order to delivery is great. What's not so great is you cannot speak to anyone as the phone numbers on the website are not in service.

Ordered a part that was shown in stock on 5th September which as most of us do, I needed urgently. That's why I ordered one shown in stock.

Week later no update or delivery so I emailed this lot only to get AI responses stating the item was actually not in stock. I therefore cancelled my order and requested a refund. All of which was agreed to and I ordered a part from a reliable supplier instead.
3 days later no contact or refund only to then have a postage date given!!
I emailed these again asking for it to be cancelled but true to form they said I'd either have to refuse the delivery when it arrived or waste more time requesting a postage label and returning it myself.

I chose to waste my time waiting for this parcel to arrive and declined it. I then emailed the company asking for a refund twice with no reply.

This is one for the small claims court and I would strongly advise you avoid this company.

They had exactly what I needed, it was delivered as they said it would be and the best bit is that now nothing falls out of the top shelf of my freezer!

Ordered an internal freezer door hinges from Ransom spares. Obviously not a big order but something that had been needing doing for a few months.

This company is a joke. I received my item damaged and have been stuck in a cycle of AI generated emails ever since trying to get a replacement item. I have now requested a full refund but have absolutely no faith I will ever receive it

An Aladdin's Cave of spares for all sorts of things home and garden - in my case a lawnmower height adjustment button. The service was outsanding . If you believe in mending it rather than throwing it away, this is the place to come to.

Having received the wrong part from another spares company for my intended repair I discovered Ransom Spares in my urgent search to secure the correct part.
I paid for Next Day delivery and the item did indeed arrive the following afternoon. It was fitted by early evening and I now have a fully functioning Neff dishwasher once more.
Price, delivery and follow up customer service were all first class. Such a breath of fresh air in today’s, often painful, online shopping world.
The other company which audaciously calls themselves “the UK’s leading retailer of spare parts for home appliances” couldn’t even send the correct part that I ordered. They have no contact telephone number and their live chat is worthless.
Ransom Spares will now be my ‘go-to’ for all things spares related.
I believe they are a small, family run business and I wish them every success going forward.
On my recent experience with them, I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

I couldn't find what I wanted from the supplier of the fridge or from the manufacturer website.. Ransom spares, no probem at all. Easy to find, in stock and next day delivery which I needed.

I found this company appalling. Their website seems ok and I was able to find the part I required, having input my model number and examined the diagram. The parts were stupid expensive, but that's usually the case for these white goods - if I got the bit I needed I'd be happy. I ordered a "compartment door flap with handle". Delivery was very slow but eventually I received a flap (which WAS the right flap) - without a handle. I asked for it to be fixed. I had to provide this photo, that photo, another photo. It was the "courier's fault", "the flap doesn't come with a handle" [here's a link to spend more money]. But the order says "with handle" guys - what am I missing?! Different people every time. Basically they do everything they can to wear you down and maximise profit without worrying about the customer. Or they are just incredibly disorganised and badly trained. Use anyone else. Not these guys.
