One of our clients decided to with hold our fee, because he wanted to reduce costs rather than comply with building regulations. We therefore contacted Redwood to collect these funds on our behalf. Whilst the process was a little frustrating at times, mainly due to our lack of knowledge of the legal processes and hurdles. The entire case was handled very well and very professionally by redwood and especially Billy our account manager. Explanations were given to what was going on for each stage of the process. Once everything started to come together, then we started to see the light at the end of the tunnel. My first point of call in future should this happen again.

I have started working with Redwood Collections to assist with their Recruitment Advertising and CV Sourcing. I have had the pleasure of meeting with Redwood at their offices, and I couldn't be more impressed with their service and great company ethos. Specifically, Zoe Wink who has been an outstanding point of contact.

In the future, we will be collaborating on some new campaigns and I look forward to working on these upcoming recruitment projects!

I wished I had read all these reviews before finally giving in to Redwood Collections. After countless sales calls and promises (for over a year), they did not do anything I had not done before passing on the debit to them. Furthermore, their sales e-mails are very misleading, with some items stating whether they exclude VAT; for example, letters are clear that VAT is excluded, but the handling fee is very deceptive.

I'm so with the other person, I would have rated them a ZERO if that was an option.

We sent all client details across to this company and Jack has been very helpful throughout. Jack has stayed on all the outstanding debts until we have got them to a reasonable conclusion.

Working with Redwood has been a great experience so far. Louis has kept me up to date with any updates on my case and swiftly provided any answers I needed.

Awful Company. Went to them to recover a debt. Charged me almost half of what the debt was anyway and then continued to add on charges. Incorrectly advised me from the start then when I complained spend 2 months not replying to emails and calls. Only threats of the ombudsman eventually got a response and that was just to tell me they think i've had good service and to basically go away! Absolutely shocking

Based on the first success, we passed them multiple cases.
Charges thousands just to give information, which is freely available online.
Billed us £4,321.45 for a case saying that the company will pay our £10,140.00 as they have over £0.157 million asset.
We did not want to waste more money for this bad debt understanding the client repaying capability but Redwood insisted us to do it or they said they will charge us £2200 for the assesment!!

All that I say, Redwood is good to give you more burden!

If I could give a zero rating I would do. After paying my bill to Tax sense accountants back on 14th September. These guys at Redwood Collections have not stopped hassling me, bullying me even when they've been told not too by me and Taxsense accountants. After telling them numerous times that the account has been paid. They continue to harass me with letters and emails. I will now go legal as this is now causing me stress and equals to bullying!! This is the second time I've used Redwood with success.
During the process, they kept me updated every month and were easily contactable if I needed any advice.
The whole process was seamless from start to finish.

Billy and Redwoods was very helpful in helping me recover what was owed. Fully recommended 10/10 Great service kept us informed and supported ever step of the process.

I used these guys as others did to get money owed.
Well, they never chased my debt but their costs to me were chased. I had relentless calls and threatening emails to make matters worse.
I wish they chased my debtor like they chased me.
I ended up paying more than the debt I was chasing!

I run a small business and turned to Redwood Debt Collection Agency with high hopes of recovering money owed to us by several clients. Unfortunately, my experience with Redwood has been nothing short of disappointing. Despite their promises, they failed to recover any of the debts. To make matters worse, we ended up paying them more in fees than the amount owed to us. Their services were ineffective and costly, and I would not recommend Redwood to anyone looking to recover outstanding debts. Save yourself the frustration and find a more reliable agency.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY

Redwood Collection Agency. They take your money, they say they will work on your behalf, they say they will find and recover, they then ask for more money, they then ask for more money then they say we cant do any more and they say do you want to sue the client through the courts. Why am i going to give you more money to go to court for someone you say you cant find?? how are you miracoulsy going to find to take this person to court.

This company were recommended to me and i will say this out loud now. AVOID REDWOOD COLLECTIONS. They do not do what they say on the tin.

Final straw, while on the phone to end our relationship, the operator Ewan put the phone down on me. I class that as rude after i said, thank you for your help, the phone went dead before i finished the sentence. disgusting.

Asking for more relevant information and ensuring I am Genuine is not going to happen. This is a review of your atrocious service not a let us reply and see if we can help. you have had your chance to help since March of this year without anything back.

Was able to sort out quickly and efficiently. First time user for collecting debts. Would highly recommend.

Shocking! I was advised that I had a strong case to receive the debt owed, Redwood's were happy to take my money for letters sent etc but then when the debtor stopped all communication and ignored said letters, I was advised it would cost more to go to court than the actual debt was worth. Fair enough.. however If I had known they would get so far unsuccessfully and then throw in the towel I would not have bothered! When I wrote to my account manager, my email was ignored....very bad service! But a tip for anyone (which my account manager is ignoring when I asked) if your debt is less then £500 ignore the letters and it will go away because it isn't worth going through the courts...or that is what it feels like
