Great service quick results

As others have writtten here this is a very dodgy company. Never ask them to recover a debt for you. They tell you no win no fee but try to charge you for something you didn’t agree to and they specifically write that you have to give consent to it.
They didn’t do anything then sent an invoice for over £500 as a handling fee to give it to an overseas agency. In the initial emails their very aggressive agent Billy clearly wrote that they only charge that if they inform us before and we agree to it. Of course they didn’t do that and we didn’t give them the go ahead and they still sent an invoice. Even after you inform them this is against what they stated in writing they try to weasel out of it by gaslighting that the you misunderstood something even though it’s in writing.
We asked our solicitors go over all the communication and it’s clear they are trying to have us a pay a bogus invoice.
We are filing a complaint with the financial ombudsman and the FCA for this illegal behaviour.
Please don’t engage with this company they achieve nothing and then want you to pay for their failure.

Collected debt but left it open for the client to come after us after due to not collecting in full and final settlement even though that was told to them that was needed
When contacting them regarding this we got a couldn't care less attitude and told it would cost us to fight the our client that we instructedxd them to do in the first place

First time we've used Redwood Collections after using a different company who's customer service had become non-existent and who were doing less and less and charging more. Redwood Collections have been a breath of fresh air - professional, pro-active, regular updates and they got two problematic customers to pay in full where the other company had failed. We would highly recommend them. Thank you Jack and Laura for all your help and we will definitely be using you again.

They kept us informed through out the process; and was very expedient and professional in getting the more than 1 year old debt collected of which we are very grateful!
Just one thing; they did not expressly stated that they were unable to collect the debt (late payment interest accumulated) that was also outstanding for the first part payment- so we felt let down by that but they were already onboard by then so I would advise they make that very clear to the client from the start well before their appointment.

Too late in responding and acting on information, took the monies for collection facilities and solicitors action too, never saw any documentation only typed up table of events. Not impressed and certainly could not recommend. Apparently it went to CCJ stage, on asking for paperwork we never had any despite asking and putting our views forward.
Very very disappointed and let down and very out of pocket.

We have worked with Redwood for around 4 years now. We have had a few admin hiccups here and there, but nothing that was not rectified very quickly at their end. They have collected debts for us as quickly as 2 days, after we have been chasing it for several months prior to sending it over! Their turnaround times are amazing. Thank you Redwood. We found the service to be very efficient!

DO NOT USE! Instructed redwood collections to collect an unpaid debt, the debtor paid me just before they made contact yet Redwoods still demanded the costs of 15% plus vat for the total outstanding balance for writing an email to them.
Total cost they demanded was £1800 for writing an email.
Even though my terms and conditions state any costs fees and disbursements to be added on top they did not continue to pursue them for this, they came to me for their costs.
They are a basically a letter writing company with no legal training.
You can do this yourself or contact a solicitor if you really wanted to get someone to write something for you at a fraction of the cost and they have actual legal training unlike redwoods.
I have used them previously and they even forgot to add my fees, costs and disbursements and that matter went through court for recovery, their excuse was my terms and conditions wasn’t given to the person who dealt with the case though they were passed to multiple members of their company, they are all over my website and when I filled out the case listing form they asked if my terms and conditions allow for the recovery of fees costs and disbursements.
Completely unacceptable and incompetent. Absolute con artists, stay well clear.

Kept us updated throughout would use Redwood again in the future

We would not use Redwood again - they have billed us twice for commission at 15% and then a £99 administration fee - and now another bill for 15% as the customer paid us directly twice
as we kept chasing and communicating with them.
we were told that there was no fee unless they collected the whole debt. Disappointed

We used Redwood Collections just before Christmas to collect an overdue invoice where a customer of ours was refusing to pay. we are a small family run roofing business and very rarely get people refusing to pay, however on this occasion we did. Redwood were thorough, professional and very easy to communicate with. They settled the debt pretty much straight away with minimal hassle. We will definitely be using them again in the future (if needed), and would highly recommend.
