I bought a Respirator with 3 disposable masks some time ago, as I was doing an attic insulation job in my own home. I use the last mask that came with the respirator recently, so today I went to Screwfix in Kilkenny to buy replacement masks, to be told they don't stock the masks. I was given the Screwfix Customer Service number in the shop, which I rang immediately. The person in the shop told me the replacement masks we available on Amazon. I told this to the Customer Service Person, and his suggestion was, get them myself on Amazon. I explained I never used Amazon, and asked Screwfix how they could advertise a product and then not carry the filters. The gentleman said its the same as Tesco, if you bought a mop, you wont get the replacements mop heads there!!! Up to now, I had put Screwfix a few steps above Tesco as an equipment provider, but how wrong was I!? They offered me a €5 goodwill voucher, which naturally I refused.

Had a problem with a delivery but my bad, it took me over a month to get on to Screwfix about it. I emailed and within an hour I had an email acknowledging the query and a really nice lady rang me the following morning and sorted everything out - no questions asked. Really blown away by the service.

Waterford store have amazing customer service. Been there several times and always great service.

Walked in to by a bolt. The guy asked me my address which I gave him, then he asked me for my previous address as he couldn’t find me on their system. I wasn’t expecting to be asked this and couldn’t recall my last postcode, he then remarked that I must have moved around a lot and said he needed this in order to give me a receipt. Is this some kind of joke ? As well as this, I’m asked for my full name, addresses, and email address whilst surrounded by other customers and shop staff. One star is too much. Appalling way to treat customers - never shopping at screw fix again

Bought an Aqualisa shower. Plumber came to fit. Not can do he said, UK and IE are not the same, took it back and they refunded me....complete waste of time, surely it doesn't take me to point this out to them.

Straight in, straight out as they have no catalogues and the tablets they had where not working, made my purchase elsewhere.

Really helpful staff, have a good knowledge of the stock, and are really helpful.

I visited the Washington, Tyne and Wear store with a bed foot board that I had lost the bolts for. Really helpful staff, tried some loose bolts to get the right size for me. A credit to your company.

I am (was I suppose !) a regular customer at their Ireland stores and frankly had no complaints at all until now. From time to time, they give discount coupons so a few days ago, I decided to use one for the first time when doing a purchase online. Valid dates, min purchase, coupon code - all checked out but for some reason the system wouldn't accept it. No problem - paid the full amount but enquired at the store when I went to collect. They confirmed that the coupon was valid and was told that it was best to inform Screwfix of the problem via email. Which I did, using the online form provided on their website. The acknowledgment said that they would come back to me within 3 days. This was the 16/01/2024 and I'm still waiting.

Forget the €10 discount. It's your attitude and indifference in situations like these that really bothers me.

Great shop, great service. Being able to read descriptions of items and customer reviews online is a huge help for the DIYer. Great prices on tools and regular special offers. I have made hundreds of purchases from them since they came to my town 5 years ago and I haven't had any bad experiences.

Charged my credit card but no order confirmed. Had to call them and they said their automated security system removed my order. Couldn't tell me why. No notification. But still charged me €86

Farce of a company

Item arrived but product was missing a part (Milwaukee Sprayer), not the fault of Screwfix. However, would have been at least 7-10 days to return it and get replacement. No instant swap available in their shops near me, or a better solution offered. Pretty disappointed and has delayed my work. The chat agent was great though. Waiting on return label now and have purchased a new one elsewhere that will arrive on Friday.

I recently bought their brand of cordless angle grinder. Being delighted with my purchase, I sought out the addition of a chuck attachment as advertised on the Screwfix site. Unfortunately, the same staff attendant wasn't there and was looked after by someone else with a less-than-desirable attitude. The chuck attachment I was being offered didn't screw in with the new angle grinder I had purchased the day before, so I asked the attendant to enquire within the company as to why it didn't work and maybe phone me. He didn't seem interested and refunded my purchase, mainly in coinage. It is a pity to receive such a varied service within a reputable company, but that's life.

Bought a shower from Screwfix and I am very pleased with it. Gar who I dealt with was extremely helpful, and a pleasure to deal with. I will definitely be purchasing from Screwfix in the future.

Black Friday what a farce
Item advertised was not available all week
Blow and behold it is available again now within 2 to 3 working days this option unavailable during the black friday deal now back at full price.

I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at CLEVEDON. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable and returns are accepted without a quibble. In July a young lady carried a very large package out to my car for me which, at 89, I was most greatful.

I ordered two T80s from Newry in Northern Ireland. The boxes were wrecked on arrival from England a week later and opened. The unopened tag on a Triton shower means you have comfort in knowing all parts are in the box.
It begs belief (no matter how stupid a store man is) that somebody gave the ok to ship two opened and battered boxes to another store. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Be careful when dealing with Screwfix. On a small plus the staff were OK to deal with in Newry.

Arrived inside to be greeted by LUKE a unprofessional, attitude sloppy salesman.
He needs to be back of shop Not behind counter and right at the back.
