I've been enjoying Sees candy for over 40 years and I've never gotten stale candy. This time I did....both boxes were hard and stale. I hope this isn't a sign of the times for Sees.

Best Candy Ever
I ordered a custom mix box. It came in four days. The candy was actually fresh! This is the first box of fresh Sees candy I’ve had in 30 years! I complained about stale candy to management. They were kind enough to send a 2lb box as an apology. That candy was stale. This time- omg! So fresh!!!! Sees is VERY expensive. When it’s fresh, it’s worth it!

See's has shipped the best candy to us since 1989. Custom assortments are our favorite.
Please don't blame Sees for delivery issues. Nobody makes better candy! (A Warren Buffet company since 1973)

Ordered on Dec 13th- won't be on Time for Christmas
Ordered on Dec 13th, and was supposed to be delivered the 20th-23rd. Didn't even ship until Wed the 22nd! New arrival time is Dec 29th, which is after the time my guests leave so I won't have them in time as these were Christmas gifts. Very disappointed and this stuff is not cheap. Service should be better. Most stores don't carry the sugar free stuff. It just isn't worth it anymore. And this has been a standard gift we give every year for more than 20 year. I guess we will have to look elsewhere.

See's Fails to Deliver
On December 17 I ordered two boxes of chocolates to be delivered to two addresses in Florida on December 23. The chocolates were not cheap, and neither were the shipping charges. Today is December 23. One box is still in Cerritos, California and UPS says it will be delivered on December 28. See's hasn't even shipped the other box yet! I will NEVER do business with See's again - and I recommend that you avoid them, too.

I am very nervous
I am very nervous. My order said it would arrive Dec. 20-23 and that an email would be sent when it had shipped. It is 5pm on the 21st and still no notice that it’s even shipped. It is for a special occasion on Christmas Eve and not something I would eat or give to anyone any other time so if it doesn’t come on time it’s useless to me🥲 I have always had good customer service with See’s for 30+ years, but after reading all of these reviews I am worried. Fingers crossed

Very disappointed
The candy is delicious, but something has changed in customer service. My order arrived 12/13 for XMas, and literally half was missing. I’ve purchased See’s for years without a drop of trouble. I called Customer Service. After thirty minutes on hold, an agent answered and said she’d assign me a Case number for review. Review of what?! The candy was missing. She promised a call the next day. Seven days later I am still waiting for resolution. I called again and got the same response about supervisor review. Every company I know replaces missing product, or gives a refund. So disappointed in this once very fine company.

Updated!! Disappointed! Holiday gifts not shipping!!
Sadly I have changed my review again to just 3 stars. We are hearing Thank you's from vendors this year as we sent them See's Candies again, and have asked if they received our gift last year (because we got no Thank You last year) that they did not receive our Gift. Super bummed as it shows delivered and Dee was sure it was delivered but no one received it. At least we support our local High School.
I have changed this review from a 1 star to a 5 star. I was contacted directly by See's a woman named Dee. She went above and beyond to make this right and all my orders have either been delivered or will be in the next day or so! Will continue to purchase from this exceptional company!! Love the customer services.
We places over 20 orders for out vendors as gifts for the holiday thru our local High School Fundraising and as of yet none of them have shipped. They all have had labels made but non have moved. The first time I called i was told they didn't know if they would ship and had no other information than that. When I called a second time was told they had run out of the assorted chocolates on 150 orders but they were now back in stock and will ship out. however when I looked at some of our orders they did not have the assorted chocolates on those so it makes we concern I wasn't given the whole truth. We may have to cancel these orders and send something else, however we really wanted to support out local HS in their fundraising efforts and would like to request that See's still give the fundraising groups the money they would have made if orders are cancelled. Since it was no fault of these groups that orders were cancelled since See's couldn't fulfill the requests.

What is happening??
Hi Dad, u will get a kick out of this “life hiccup” event. Obviously, this is a silly situation on the scale of serious events but I just had to share… so I have been mailing Sees chocolates out to loved ones for 30 years. On Friday, I ordered your Sees, Peter’s brother, & my one good friend Sees. It was different this time as they did not ask for my account number, and I had to laboriously retell them every single address, name, phone #, message, etc… finally after 30 minutes of recreating what they should of had in their files, I gave them my credit card number… it was rejected (even though I have used this card for 2 weeks straight with no problems), then I gave them two more credit card numbers.. all rejected!! I spoke with the manager & she said it was on the “Sees” side & they were blocking me from ordering!! Fast forward to today, Monday, and I am waiting for her call, she was going to try & straighten it out. Since Friday, I have gone online and tried to purchase my order under Peter’s name, under a different email address, etc… nothing is working. I have hours of my time invested in just trying to order their chocolates and I am pissed that they are so incompetent for some reason this year!! Did they change ownership?, something is differently different. I am almost done with ever ordering anything from them ever again. There are too many competitive companies to order from without making it a very painful experience!!
Sorry, just thought I’d share with you, this is why ur Sees might be late!

Very disappointed
Purchased a box on 11/18 to ship and arrive no later than Dec. 2nd for my Mother-laws birthday, she lives by herself and it needed to arrive on time for her b-day on Dec. 3rd. On Nov. 29th, I received an email stating it was ready to ship, I hadn't received any more communication as of December 2nd. so I called on Dec 3rd to inquire and was told my order had not shipped and the Sees candy rep said she would forward my situation to a supervisor. Later on the afternoon of Dec 3rd, I received an email stating my order would be overnighted to arrive on Dec 7th. That is not overnight and No tracking # was provided. On Dec. 6th I called again and was told "Good News, your package is to arrive today" and then told or maybe tomorrow. Which day is it?
I was then told that my purchase would be refunded, well that has not happened, nor any sort of email/communication that there will be a refund or an apology. I am very disappointed with See's customer service. I was proactive with my order to ensure On Time Delivery. It was very important to me. I could have and should have shopped elsewhere. However, with See's reputation, I never expected such shoddy customer service. Such dishonesty, terrible!

I have always loved Sees chocolate……
I have always loved Sees chocolate. My favorites are the Mochas and Bordeaux. I recently ordered a pound of half and half. I was so excited when they arrived today. I quickly opened the box to dig into my favorite chocolate. I was so disappointed when I realized the chocolate was stale. I paid $40 for a pound of premium chocolate, and feel like I have been completely ripped off.

Really UPSET 😡😡😡
I just want to let you know that I am very disappointed in the service from Sees Candy. I placed an order for 40 boxes of chocolates and pay overnight shipping, these were going to be the Christmas presents for our clients.
They should have arrived yesterday, today I checked my account (they never sent me the tracking number) and they have not even been delivered to UPS. Today I have been trying all day to investigate what's going on with my order and if I can cancel it since nobody can give me reports, but nothing has been possible.
I'm really upset,😡 if you can't have an answer at least make it easy to cancel the order, I won't have time to buy and ship something else for our clients.
Be very careful, the worst customer service I have had in a long time and no one seems to be capable for giving an answer.

"So Disappointed" Who's the CEO
I have been buying See's candies for family and friends for many years now at Christmas as a token gift. I first experianced See's candy about 20 years ago it was amazingly good. This year after reading several bad reviews I decided I better buy myself a box when I order . I was so disappointed ,I'm not saying its awful but its sure not what it once was . Not much better then Russel Stover, but at more than twice the price.If their intent is high profits its a shame . I wonder if they have new management?

Have been buying candies At 60w 8 st nyc, today 12/4/2021 I was told I was not able to buy candy without mask rudely, most employees ther know me from years of buying, Asian woman Spanish woman and 2 very nice gentleman, but today a new face “KAREN”! So not only did I not buy took the time out to leave negative review, I also wrote letter to corporate, people like this do not need to be in retail sales, terrible customer service n it’s not mandated to wear mask in any stores, discrimination n violation of my rights

Approached the counter. White male cashier had just rung up someone else and as soon a customer walked away he turned his back to me. I said excuse me sir. He turned around and yelled what. I asked for a sample candy and he threw it at me an turned his back. I’ll never return to this blatantly racist store.

Don't expect a true assortment
I bought my father, who loves See's chocolates, a two pound box online, for his birthday. Not knowing his favorites, I bought assorted chocolates. It turns out his favorites are cremes and to our disappointment, there wasn't one cream filled chocolate in the whole box! Nuts, nuts, nuts! Caramels and nuts only. I wouldn't call that an assortment.
That being said, their customer service is excellent! They reached out immediately with a response and an offer. Thank you See's :D

I can't order online
I can't order online. TWICE I have tried to order a custom mix and the site won't put my order through! Do I get help when I write a complaint? NO!@! ALL I get is a letter from saying How awful, close the browser and try again. Does NOT work!! Their online service SCUKS!!
I have been a STRONG, LONG-time see's customer for 72 years--I am 77 and used to go on FIELD trips to the LA store in 51-54, from Warren Lane Elementary School.
Will i buy from them online again? NO. this kind of service is beyond lousy, and I wanted to rate them a 1 star but missed and can't undo it.
