Hello,

In your review, you acknowledged that the services you paid for were delivered, including distribution to VEVO. This confirms that the core deliverables were fulfilled as agreed. The Fact you have edit you review to cancel it says alot about you.

However, the claim that our website is dysfunctional is not accurate. We currently support a roster of over 8,000 artists, and we have not received substantiated reports indicating systemic issues with the platform.

To clarify further, we have never made or sent any offer suggesting payment in exchange for placement in a Netflix production. That claim is entirely unfounded.

Regarding publication promotion, this service is contingent on an active annual fee. As you stated in your own review, this fee was not maintained, which is why no such promotion was executed.

Additionally, your music was never enrolled in YouTube Content ID through our service, as this also requires an active annual distribution plan, which was not in place. The only service purchased and completed was video distribution, and your music video was successfully delivered to VEVO.

Following the lapse in payment, the video was subsequently removed in accordance with our terms of service.

Hello,

You have claimed that Sharpline attempted to extort money from you; however, this does not accurately reflect the full history of our working relationship.

You worked with Sharpline over a period of approximately three years, during which time you distributed four tracks through our platform. Throughout this period, you were subscribed to our label package, which carries an annual fee of $105. However you never paid us even a cent.

During those three years, we have clear records confirming that your royalties were processed and paid out accordingly to you. However, in the later stage of this relationship, your annual subscription fee remained unpaid for those 3 years despite multiple reminders being sent to you. These communications were not acknowledged or acted upon.

After an extended period without payment, and following repeated attempts to resolve the outstanding subscription, Sharpline applied a hold on royalties to offset the unpaid fees associated with your account.

It is important to clarify that this action was not arbitrary, but a direct response to a continued use of services without fulfilling the agreed payment obligations. Over the course of three years, multiple opportunities were provided to regularize the account.

In your review, you acknowledged that Sharpline initially delivered on its services, which is accurate. Royalties were paid out consistently over multiple years prior to the issues that arose in the final months of our working relationship.

The disruption in payments was not arbitrary. It was the result of actions taken by digital service providers (DSPs), including Spotify, which flagged your releases for suspected artificial streaming activity. According to Spotify’s findings, a significant portion of the streams associated with your music were identified as potentially non-organic.

As a result of these flags, Spotify withheld royalties and, in some cases, did not process payouts at all. This is in line with their policies regarding artificial streaming.

At present, we are actively pursuing an appeal with Spotify to review these determinations and release any eligible royalties. This process is ongoing, and we are awaiting their final decision.

The royalties were initially withheld due to suspected artificial streaming activity identified by Spotify. As per their policy, Spotify does not process payouts for streams flagged as artificial.

Following this, Spotify communicated the issue to all affected parties, and we proceeded to file an appeal which was rejected by Spotify
