I bought the 7.5' x 7.5' pent steel shed for self assembly. I ordered it on Friday and it was delivered on Monday so very quick delivery. I put this together with my wife holding panels etc. when i needed her to, the trickiest bit was getting the vertical corners started but once we did it was a little easier to build up. I'd recommend using the longer F3 screws for the bottom of each corner to attach both panel and corner joint.
There's a few tricky details but having both the printout and pdf on my phone meant I could zoom in and out for the tricky details.
I poured the concrete base with a friend a few weeks before so we had a good flat surface to build on. I would not build this unless your base is level.
The quality of the shed is 100% so I'd highly recommended buying from Sheds Direct. I would also recommend assembling it yourself but only if you are handy at such things.

Received my new metal shed yesterday. All went brilliant, from the sales staff to the guys putting the shed up were all very helpful and so easy to deal with. Fantastic service and lovely staff.

Note: I know how to do manual builds. Would recommend you ask them to assemble it if your not at least very build competent.

Base and boxes arrive via there Stealth Delivery drop off at 6:45 am . If it wasn't for my ring cam wouldn't of seen him lol perfect drop off and right up under front window of the house . Very nice.

Install
Went very well Base used was the modular green one . 54 panels total for a handy 12x13 ft landing pad.
Dropped soil level and levelled ground . Added then the damp proofing then sand then grid then filled with Screed. Toped with sand to finish then placed another damp proof directly on top to act as a start to the frame build.

Frame build.
Base. Went down fast we levelled and squared it. Then on went the corner's and then walls then roof dressing finally with gutters and trim.

More notes
So many bolts and screws and Washers ( hand Dextrous hands ) if you get stiff hand easily have them build it lol

Finalising
Added in solid 2x9 pressure treaded timber floor so strength weight and stability . Looks really good feel nice under foot and hard wearing.
Sprayed all fixings with uv coating after fully assembled. To provide additional rust and fixing longevity not asked to do this just an additional choice.

- Recommends to pass to shed direct for minor enhancement
1. Metal Door Handels not fibre reinforced ones.- ill be replacing mine. For more strenght and security. Top and bottom no just middle.
2. Please more washers in the box people do drop loads haha even 4 extra squares would be amazing.
3 . Considering manual- needs improvement for certain steps just one example place a arrow for left and right position example while parts are labled L and R the manual doesnt show from what perspective so a note at start of manual showing large black arrow and on certin steps place the arrow on image to show choosing L or R parts based on arrow ..
( i had to disassemble part of the apex twice due to this as things didnt line up when not correct. )

We ordered the Goldilocks shed from them (7.5 ft * 7.5 ft), using the eco base grid system. We installed the base ourselves and the Sheds Direct team installed the shed. The team were done and dusted within 90 mins and were very neat and left no packaging behind. Would highly recommend them. Needless to say, delighted with the shed.

Got a shed a couple of years back and went over to get a new door handle which broke,they gave me a replacement and would not take any payment for it,great to see there is still company’s like this in rip off lreland,many thanks

I bought the 10ft by 7.5 ft cottage shed. I did the installation myself. Excellent customer service and excellent quality shed. A couple of quibbles stop it from being full marks for me but I would use them again definitely.
They delivered the wrong shed initially, but they promptly sorted it out so I was happy there.
The instructions say 2.5 hours to install, their website says a day but it took me about 3 full days to set up(not including the base setup). I'd consider myself average at DIY so I don't know if I was just slow.
The instructions are sometimes unclear and vague about what actually goes where and the orientation so I bolted a few bits wrong and had to re-do. Could use another couple of clarifying pictures - watch out for the support beams and door hinges!
Also, my shed took off one windy night in the middle of setting it up. If using the polycarbonate base on gravel,you need to peg it down. I found that out through their chat support(which is great btw). Luckily it just ended up resting against a nearby fence. But if their website says anything about pegs I missed it! I couldn't see pegs for sale on the site either so got some somewhere else. I should've researched externally on that one.
Other than that, the service was great - quick replies and good quality. Next time I'll probably just fork out the cash for them to install it though 😅 would definitely recommend however and will use them in future .

If only more places had staff like sheds direct…Louise and Orla are so helpful with any queries and questions!

Hi - just a helper note that at least one of your video adverts/informational is misleading.

Your add / youtube says vocally that 178 cm tall is 6 foot 1 inches. I think that you should review this and replace with one that converts correctly .

178 cm is 5 foot 10 inches.

We dropped in to take a look at the sheds on site. Lovely warm welcome from Louise, who was very helpful and knowledgeable about the different types, sizes,and materials.
We were initially planning on just looking, but based on the fantastic help from Louise, we decided to place an order. Great customer experience, no sales pitch no pressure just great help. We can't wait to get out new shed, I will share another review when completed but so far a 5 star experience.

The service was courteous and the order was delivered 2 days after the order was made. The delivery driver helped to store the two items in the garage until we were able to make them up. The instructions for assembling the 2 compost bins were clear and precise and we are delighted with the bins as well as the service.

Fantastic service from everyone I dealt with, from sales team, to customer service and particularly the delivery driver.

Worst Customer service. I happen to order online from their website for the oil and i have been told that order going to be deliver on Friday. I rang on Friday afternoon asking that when driver gonna be there at 1'o clock in afternoon. As soon as i ask the lady about this she start freaking out and start shouting at me. I ask if she call to the driver and can ask when he is going to be here as i have to go work by 2 o clock . I work in hotel in kitchen and i am not allowed to use phone in there and there is no body going to be at home as well. But she shouted and refused to help me regarding my problem. She was the face of company and how company let her behave like this. it happened to me twice on my both orders. Will be looking for alternatives options/ companies
