It is a Great Help for Meals Preparations.

Easy recipes, only have to buy a few ingredients to make the meals.
All the meals come to under £5 (with the simply cook sauces). They’re really tasty and varied. Makes me understand cooking a bit more, what goes together etc.
Would recommend.

The recipes are excellent - I would say exceptionally so. I have been a subscriber for quite some time but take the occasional break etc. The only reason I did not give 5 out of 5 stars is because it has been a bit tricky trying to contact anyone. You have to make contact via email only. They are getting better! The response time is no longer 12 days and this time it was within 24 hours but, they are a big company now and I would have thought a phone option or perhaps a chat option would be available. Every single recipe we have tried/tested, has been lovely. We do often order one or two which we have had in the past but, we do like to try new and interesting additions on the list. There is a lot to choose from. This is much better and more suitable for our family than something which includes the actual food. We had too many disappointing experiences with other company food boxes. I nearly always keep items like chicken and prawns in freezer (we are not vegetarians!) but, their veggie dishes are also excellent. These little boxes have given me more inspiration, enthusiasm and a bit of excitement into cooking after years and years in the kitchen wondering what to make! One other thing worth mentioning is that we find their dishes classed as MEDIUM - spice - are actually quite hot. Perfectly ok for us but, perhaps a little too hot and spicy for young children. We tried one of our friends HOT dishes a few months ago and we were still feeling the heat the next day!

Was under the impression all ingredients came in the boxes, this is what would save you time and money like other companies that provide the same service but was disappointed to find out it’s such flavouring/sauce pots which most people have in abundance at home anyway. So still have to go to the supermarket and purchase most of the ingredients. Not to say it was bad because they did taste nice and provide instructions but yet all this can be found online anyway.

Works perfectly for me! I get a recipe and the seasoning… and enjoy bringing together the suggested ingredients. Love it 👌🏻

Customer service is fabulous and they reply within hours of your enquiry.
The menus are also amazing - I have never had one I have not liked. They are so tasty and make a great variation to meals. I use them when friends pop round as so quick and easy to make.

Great products, customer service is fantastic

I’ve been a loyal subscriber for years and have always loved the convenience of Simply Cook. However, I’m increasingly frustrated by the lack of development in the vegan menu. With only about 12 vegan-suitable recipes that haven’t changed in years, the service has become stagnant for my dietary needs. I’ve reached out to support to ask for more variety, but as a long-term customer, I’m disappointed that there’s been no innovation in the plant-based range. I’m currently considering canceling my subscription unless I see a commitment to new, creative vegan options.

If you don't mind cooking, but just want to make the whole thing more convenient, SimplyCook is great. It saves money and time buying and making the more uncommon ingredients. The customer service is also great, responsive, and generous. I ordered a box by accident and they refunded me without asking for it back. Thanks Mandy!

Great selection of meals - we have used SimplyCook for several years - our favourite is bang bang chicken, now made regularly by my teenagers!

Simply Cook is just that. Easy to follow cooking cards, lovely ingredients in the three little pots in each pack, which makes the whole meal so tasty.

Offered a 'free reward' through sky vip. Was informed upon completion of order that I now had a subscription billed every 2 weeks. These kind of tactics really annoy me. I will now as a result never use simply cook

Do not fall for the "just pay postage" trial. SimplyCook uses this as a deceptive tactic to get your card details and lock you into a subscription you do not want.
The box is definitely not worth the hassle. You are paying for a few pots of herbs, and you still have to do a full supermarket shop to get the actual food required for the recipes. It is a completely misleading business model relying on tricking customers. AVOID them entirely.

Edit Response to below: I also know how subscriptions work and it should be something you opt into not secretly opted into... it should be clear that this will be a subscription, it isn't made clear and it's a shady way to do business.
You're overcharging for herbs and spices that can be easily, and cheaply bought at any supermarket.
I will be doing a chargeback, as clearly people have been unsuccessful before getting refunds, not to worry I will get a full refund perks of credit cards ;)

Many years ago I was hit with major depression and my diet and cooking went completely out of the window. I even gained a ton of weight. Some months ago I tried simply cooks free trial and fell in love. I'm in love with food and cooking again. I'm losing weight. I'm enjoying my food and feeling better for it. I have also had a damaged delivery and they couldn't do enough for me to rectify it. Great customer service and amazing tasting food. Thank you for turning my eating habits around. No more takeaways for me

I had used simply cook years ago and I found them very good made me love cooking and taking pride. The little cards they give for the ingredients are very handy. After a year of ordering I had to stop my subscription because Iife happens. Now 4 years later I am trying to get back into the kitchen and signed up for subscription again. It is exactly what it says simply cook and I love they got the tear off shopping list. Very handy. The reason I took 1 star away is the price of just spices the postage cause if I did weekly order it would cost over £40 for just spices and herbs, but i went for every 2 weeks for now. Thank you I know I will enjoy the food 😊

I had to contact SimplyCook to raise the issue of somebody elese's delivery arriving at my address. Amanda at SimplyCook responded immediately to deal with th issue, contacting both the intended receiver to check a delivery address and t me ton thank me and tell me to keep the box. Everything was done quickly and in a very positive and friendly manner.
