Trusted Traders. Gas safe registered 45507. We use our own engineers and plumbers who are fully qualified and apprentice trained. We can provide up to 12 year manufacturers warranties with all new boiler installations. We offer annual maintenance contracts, tailored to suit your needs. Our office is open six days a week and we operate an out of hours helpline, in case of emergency.

We suffered a total gas boiler failure
We suffered a total gas boiler failure, they came promptly to identify the problems,the parts were ordered immediately and the repair carried at as soon as the parts arrived. The job wasn't an easy one and engineer was patient and informative. No complaints.

I just wanted to complement STPlumbing On their level of customer service. People are quick to be negative if something goes wrong but slow to praise when a job is done well. I have always found them to be helpful and polite on the phone in the first instance then after the technician has visited to investigate the problem most informative in explaining what has been done or what needs to be done. Initial fitting was bad
Initial fitting was bad.
Blanking plates for unused ports were put in our bathroom bin.
Position of unit required cutaway of housing as explained in online. trident fitting instructions. This was not done resulting in unit not mounted flush to the wall and the resulting gap filled with unsightly filler.
The splines on the flow control were not aligned as explained in fitting instructions resulting in low scorching hot flow on full power.
Shower and bathroom left in a mess after work done.
We should have refused to accept the work then but pressed instead for reparations. Second fitter installed blanking plates and on my suggestion aligned the flow control splines.
Then we noticed chrome flaking around unit. (10 days after fitting). Contacted Trident who supplied new front plate.
In all it was a bad experience. I was impressed initially with the quote , not cheap, for the job.. vat clearly identified. I was expecting a professional job. At the end we just wanted them out. I should have complained at the outset about fitting but wanted/needed a working shower despite issues. Second fitter was polite but did not suggest repositioning the unit.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re very sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced during your shower installation and we understand how frustrating this must have been. This is not the level of workmanship or service we aim to provide.
We’d like to address a couple of important points you raised. The location of the shower unit was determined by the existing pipework and electrical services, as explained during the quotation stage. Relocating the unit would have required invasive works, which we highlighted clearly in advance. Our fitters installed the unit based on these constraints to avoid unnecessary disruption to your bathroom.
We also noted that when you contacted us to make payment, no concerns were raised at that time. Had we have been made aware of these issues earlier, we would have acted immediately to address them and ensure you were fully satisfied from the outset.
That said, it’s clear from your review that aspects of the installation — including alignment, finishing, and cleanliness — did not meet expectations and for that we sincerely apologise. While we’re glad the second fitter was able to resolve some elements, we recognise that this does not make up for the overall experience you’ve described.

Honest straight forward company who can deal with out of the ordinary underfloor heating issues in my case . Very busy but worth waiting for . Daniel was a very capable heating engineer which in my experience today is a rarity . Very grateful and totally recommend.

A great team.
I needed some work completing at very short notice. To remove old radiators & relocate new radiators. ST Plumbing were able to help & I was really pleased with the work & the reasonable cost.
They organised the new radiators, & were more than happy to complete some additional work within the timescales.
I was kept uptodate with delivery of a very large radiator & Claire was very helpful, knowledgeable & reassuring.
All in all, the team were great. I will definately be using them again for any other plumbing projects & highly recommend them.

Efficient, courteous and helpful.
From start to finish a good company. The receptionist is helpful and clear in information. The technician who comes is polite, careful and explains procedure and what and why any action is needed. You are requested if you wish to proceed if parts are needed. I requested their remind service, as I tend to forget annual service is due.

This was a short notice callout for a kitchen rescue mission - 2 hours later the plumbing problems were fixed, no more mess or leaks, and the renewed piping looks far more tidy than what had been there before. I've used STP before for central heating and drinking font/tap installations, and can trust them to do a great job.
