Very good customer service. Keenan was quick, efficient and sorted my query out.

The boxes are fine but good luck cancelling. They force you to call and make it as inconvenient as possible.

Transparent subscription company tactic: easy to sign up by email. But sorry, the only way to cancel is calling us during work hours.

Desmond was helpful and got done what I requested very quickly

The boxes have been great and the service from Desmond Jones was very helpful, pleasant on the phone and understood what I was looking to do which I appreciate.

The website is very misleading in regards to cancellation. The FAQ suggests using the members area. This does have a section for cancellation however it does not work. I have since had confirmed the only way to cancel is by phoning. The website is wrong and I do feel this is a trap of inconvenience to stop people cancelling.

Didn't receive first delivery and not given refund for recent payment. Not good that only way to cancel is by phone call

This is a “Hotel California” company, great while you’re ordering, but god help you if you want to leave - you look up “how to cancel membership”; it gives a set of instructions (log into account, go to members area, go to account details or settings and billing section and click on “Want to cancel your membership” or “Cancel Subscription” button) - except, when you log into your account on their website, there is no option to cancel subscription, all you can do is skip a box - but, watch out as you can now only skip 3 deliveries and then they’ll override the customer choice and charge you for a box you don’t want - and they don’t tell you that you can only skip 3 in a row! Oh, and if you fall foul of this new rule and they charge you for a box you thought you had skipped and don’t actually want, they then won’t cancel the order, even if it’s more than a week before the order is sent out to you, you’re stuck with it!! Plus, if you want a refund, you have to pay a courier to send the box back to them which isn’t refunded - and I doubt they’ll refund the delivery cost you paid when they charge you for the box either so, even if you return the order, they’re still making money out of you!!

So, having got nowhere on their website, you google how to leave, it says to ring them - but they don’t have a phone number to call!! No wonder they don’t have a customer service phone number - they don’t want to deal with people trying to get a refund or trying to leave them!!

Can’t wait for them to reply on here so I can hear their excuse for why I can’t cancel the account in the members area of their website using the method they quote in their own FAQs!!

Quite pricey and it's very frustrating you have to call up to cancel and cannot do it online.

I didn’t realise it was a monthly subscription when I bought the starter pack. It wasn’t very clear. However the staff over the phone her name started with A, maybe Anna, was very helpful.

I have looked forward to my monthly boxes for the past year! I love the variety of gins and overall have a fantastic experience with the curious drinker! Unfortunately I had to cancel due to an overseas move but Anna was super friendly and made the cancellation process quick and easy!

Keenan in customer service was very polite and understood my request and was able to resolve my issue immediately.

Lovely quality suprise boxes, and they gave me a discount when I explained that I couldn't afford the montly gin selection. Unfortunately I've now had to cancel altogether. Nice customer service when I phoned- friendly and proffesional attitude from Keenan. One star lost due to having to phone to cancel.

AVOID OR BE RIPPED OFF

Very easy process for ordering and quick delivery. The cancellation process was also quick and easy but would prefer to be able to click a cancel button on the app. Desmond Jones was very helpful with the cancellation process and there was no pressure, very friendly and efficient.

Awful company. One of those ones that won't let you cancel unless you call them. They have a cancellation section on their website but it doesn't work and they aren't fixing it.
The box is expensive for what it is. Padded out with lots of non alcoholic bits, so you only really get a small bit of gin.

Desmond helped me with all I needed and it was a very smooth experience.

I wouldn't recommend this company at all as I don't feel they have their customers best interest at heart. and they appeared very impatient. This is why I gave a low rating.

On the other hand, Keenan who answered the customer service phone, was very polite, listened well and explained what he was and wasn't able to do regarding my decision to cancel with this company. I would give him 5 stars.
