We visited Sri Lanka in June 2017 for a 12 day tour for our honeymoon. I first contacted the Earth trip to help organise our honeymoon and was immediately impressed by their professional, quick and helpful response. Aleem worked closely with us to tweak the itinerary and suggest alternatives until we had created the perfect trip based on all the things we love. Communication was great right up until we left and they were on hand to help answer any questions we had, no matter how small or when we had to ring on our way to the airport! We felt in great hands and it was the perfect way to begin our honeymoon knowing everything was sorted and under control. When we arrived in Sri Lanka, our guide Mangala was waiting for us at the airport with the biggest smile on his face! We thoroughly enjoyed his company for our trip and it was a pleasure to get to know him and to learn all about the beautiful country of Sri Lanka. He was a very safe driver and the car was clean and comfortable to travel in. Mangala went out of his way to accomodate us and make sure we had the most perfect trip, he took us to small eateries to try different local foods, bought us yummy fruit to try, drove around for an hour trying to find us wine to buy on our first night and made us laugh with his jokes. All the accomodation the Earth Trip recommended was incredible, each hotel knew it was our honeymoon and either decorated our room nicely or upgraded us where possible. We felt very spoilt on our trip and it was amazing to know that everything was taken care of and planned. We could not recommend using the Earth Trip enough if you are after a hassle free, special, trip of a lifetime!

Our trip to Sri Lanka was everything we asked for and more! We were listened to when we were arranging our trip and all our requests were taken on board and carried out to our liking. We were guided in our choices by people who had first hand experience of the country which made our trip unique. Personal attention making us feel special and nothing was too much trouble for Haleem and his colleagues. We have had no hesitation in recommending Earth Trip to our friends.

We had an 11 day tour of Sri Lanka in April 2017 for our Honeymoon. All was planned and organised by Earth Trip. They were really helpful in creating a tour to include all we wanted to do; communication was easy and detailed in the run up to the trip, and we were sent proposed itineraries to review. It is a small company and delivered a very personal and attentive service. They also easily adjusted plans, even when we were there, to suit us.

We had a driver and private air-conditioned vehicle for the whole trip. The driver took care of all entrances and planning timings, which made the trip very easy for us. He also went out of his way to help us in small ways, such as securing the best exchange rate for our money in a local bank, and buying us food and drink to try from local stalls.

We stayed in some wonderful places and saw some amazing sites and places. The company had clearly told hotels that it was our honeymoon and some offered nice extra touches which made it feel very special.

We saw the main highlights of Sri Lanka and loved the country. We would highly recommend using Earth Trip as they provide tailored tours with local knowledge. A brilliant company who clearly know what they're doing!

We travelled as a foursome to Sri Lanka in March 2017. The trip was originally for two of us but he adapted the plans when we added a second couple. He arranged a fascinating trip for us including the more recently re-opened northern areas and national parks, and a varied selection of small, but always excellent, hotels. He listened carefully to our requirements and found us places to stay that he had personally vetted. When we met him at a travel show he was full of good advice and gave us many insights into what to see and do. He worked through a very capable local guide, and personally intervened in and resolved a small scheduling issue that arose. He was very keen to find out about our views and experiences of the trip afterwards. We felt we had a high quality trip with no compromises at a very reasonable cost

Earth Trip were fabulous, the organisation of our trip to Sri Lanka was superb. Our driver was excellent and went out of his way to make our trip memorable.
Aleem was always easy to contact with any queries and we felt we were in good hands all the way.

We first met Izabela (and baby) at the Destinations Show in London and were impressed by her original and refreshing ideas on what a trip to Sri Lanka could (and should not) include. Just over a year later, we have recently returned from a fantastic three and a half week holiday there. In the meantime, we'd emailed and talked with Aleem, who listened and suggested and put together an itinerary that seemed to include everything we hoped for - and more that we hadn't thought of! We've had a wonderful variety of experiences, sights and accommodation and all in the care of a friendly, professional driver/guide. Met Aleem at the Manchester Travel show having no idea about Madagascar. We chatted about Sri Lanka from where we had just returned and Aleem said if we liked Sri Lanka then Madagascar was for us.20 minutes later we were looking to sign up. That we did and could not have been more pleased.
Accommodation may not be 5 star but all were very acceptable when you consider the poverty of the country. The people were magnificent, always smiling and welcoming. We had two visits to genuine houses in small villages, very eye opening. So welcoming when they have nothing by European standards.
Everything went to plan and we thoroughly enjoyed all the experiences on offer. Some of the journeys were a little tiring as we did not appreciate the distances involved but all the time our very friendly and well informed driver / guide kept us interested.
Highlight for me was the limas.
I would thoroughly recommend this trip as long as you are prepared for a wonderful experience but perhaps not a holiday

What a brilliant holiday put together by Aleem with 23 nights in Sri Lanka. We tour most of the country with fabulous hotels, sights and people. Just magical and thanks so much to Earth trip for this once in a lifetime holiday.

We had the most amazing time in Madagascar, it far exceeded our expectations on many levels.
Right from the very first email to Earth Trip we was impressed by their efficiency and professionalism, this was reflected throughout the whole holiday.
The local guides were fantastic, welcoming, knowledgable, professional and went to great lengths to meet any requests that we had, ensuring we had the best experiences. They are amongst the finest we have seen on our travels. The vehicles used were kept immaculate and were very comfortable and the hotels selected were beautiful.
We can not speak highly enough of Earth Trip and would highly recommend their services. A truly fantastic company!

We first met Aleem at a national travel show and were impressed with his passion and knowledge of Sri Lanka. When it came to putting our trip together he listened to our interests and helped us to incorporate all the main sites as well as some lesser-known places. We had an excellent 3 week trip around most of the island and would not hesitate to recommend The Earth Trip to anyone who is considering visiting there.

We were very impressed from our first meeting with Aleem of Earth Trip. He went to a great deal of trouble to find out what we liked and incorporated this in his suggested itinerary for our Northern tour of the island. The holiday could not have been better. All the hotels were amazing and the many trips arranged for us were excellent. We had half board as he recommended and three of the four hotels had extensive buffets. The variety and extent of our visit took us to temples, ancient ruins, elephant safari, blue whale watching, snorkeling over the coral reef, bird watching, the train to Jaffna and much more - all with local guides arranged by the company and sorted out on the ground by our driver. We will certainly be booking with Earth Trip again.

The Earth trip organised our visit, taking into account exactly what we wanted from our trip and helping us to shape it to make the most of our time there. They were happy to modify their original proposal when we asked them to do so, and we felt entirely safe and secure all the time we were there. They arranged for us to meet local people and some real characters of hoteliers and restauranteurs. Their on-site representatives in Madagascar were able to handle the few problems, of our own making, whilst we were there. We felt cared for but not wrapped in cotton wool. i we would highly recommend the Earth Trip for a really memorable holiday.
