Our first visit to Sri Lanka will not be our last. An amazing family holiday booked to celebrate my wife's birthday - we had birthday cake at every hotel we visited!

We had a fantastic time in Sri Lanka with Earth Trip. Many memories created and novel experiences. We had enough to do every day without being over busy, and a great mix of animals, natural sights, differing foods, culture and history. Aleem listened to our requirements and put together a wonderful trip, that was perfectly complemented by Chanaka our local guide. Thank you Earth Trip!

We had an amazing time and experience in Sri Lanka followed by 4 days in The Maldives.
Initially contacted Earth Trip about our wishes and was pleased to get a quick response from Aleem, after discussing together we decided on the tour and hotels in Sri Lanka and Maldives. I believe the price is very competitive looking at the individual hotels and the tour.
upon arriving in Sri Lanka was met by our guide Prasanna and Sewwandi the General Manager of Resfeber Holidays, it was a wonderful welcome and very pleased with the reception we received.
Prasanna could not do more to make our holiday so special, he adjusted the itinerary to suit our needs.

19 days in stunning, lush, raw Sri Lanka, where the people are friendly. Aleem knew what we needed to see and he put together a wonderful itinerary, we feel we saw everything and to make it perfect our driver Sampath was with us all the way, we had no worries, we wanted for nothing. Thank you all for such a memorable holiday, back in the UK now but my mind is still in Sri Lanka. We must return.

From Start to finish Earth Trip made our holiday in Sri Lanka the perfect vacation. We had the most wonderful and magical time. Their fantastic knowledge of the island created a wonderful itinerary and gave us an unforgettable experience. We went to Sri Lanka in February/March and had a wonderful time. The itinerary was well planned and took us to all the places we wanted to go with just the right amount of time in each place. There was a mixture of wildlife,cultural experiences and scenery. The local tour guide Sameera was excellent and planned the best times for us to visit places. His local knowledge enhanced our enjoyment of the tour. All the hotels were of a good standard with large rooms and a good choice of foods even for vegetarians. We especially enjoyed having some lunches with local families and learning about their lives and culture.

We went to Zanzibar & the Seychelles between Feb 14th & March 6th with Earth Trip. A minor hiccup about a taxi drop of point but other than this the organisation, choice of hotels, trip organisations etc were very good. This was our third trip organised by Earth Trip and we will definitely use them again.

We also wanted to tell you how amazing Ushanka was. From the moment we saw his smile at Bandaranaike airport we knew this holiday was going to be a lot of fun!

We had a problem with our first hotel which Ushanka sorted out brilliantly which meant we didn't worry for a minute. From then on things just got better & better. We had an incredible holiday & have made a friend for life with Ushanka. Words can't really describe how brilliant he was. He absolutely made our holiday a life changing experience.

Just returned from a wonderful holiday in Sri Lanka, organised by Aleem at Earth Trip using Resfeber as the local company. An amazing tour around the country with so many different experiences, temples, safaris, train rides, tea plantations, beach, whale watching and meals with local families. Sameera was an excellent driver on tricky road conditions at times and he also answered our many questions about the country. I’m sure we’ll be booking again with Earth Trip.

We have just returned from a fabulous 18 days in Sri Lanka.This was our third trip to Sri Lanka and the second organised by Aleem , who did a great job of putting together the perfect itinerary.
This time we wanted to explore the north and east of the island which is finally recovering from the civil war and we were not disappointed.
Thanks to Aleem and our guide Ushanka we very much enjoyed the trip and would highly recommend The Earth Trip to anyone thinking of going to this wonderful country.

I was very impressed by Earth Trip. They are a small travel company so they provide a very personal service. Aleem took the time and trouble to understand what we really wanted from our trip and tailor made a package that was perfect for us. We wanted a trip focusing on nature & wildlife and Aleem more than delivered this. I recommend Earth Trip and would use them again.

Earth Trip organised a 2 week India holiday for my 18 year old daughter and myself this January. Aleem was very helpful in planning our route and discussing the different options plus giving advice on different kinds of hotels and experiences. Our route took us to Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Chanod, Udaipur, Mumbai. Every detail of the trip had been organised meticulously by the local agencies so all we had to do was show up on time in the mornings and enjoy it (and on the one occasion when our flight from Udaipur to Mumbai was significantly delayed the local team (Annirudh Chundawat and Yuvraj Singh Chauhan in Udaipur and Francis Newman in Mumbai) went out of their way even in the middle of the night to get us to arrive without any further disruption. Our driver Ram Niwas Yadav was very friendly, reliable and caring – our comfort was always his number one concern (especially on those days when Delhi-Belly inevitably struck…). We had very knowledgeable local guides (Varun Pathak in Agra, Nandini in Jaipur and Perviz Vatliwalle in Mumbai amongst our favourites), providing us with a wealth of information and historical background on all the palaces, forts and other sights of interest.
The hotels were all beautiful, comfortable, the food delicious, the service very friendly. Chanoud Garh Palace in Chanod ("A Royal - Rural Homestay" - since 14 generations in the wonderful Singh family) was definitely a highlight of our trip (and a very welcome break from the hustle and bustle of all the cities). India is a beautiful country, fascinating but also rather overwhelming for all senses at times and we felt very privileged to experience it all in such a comfortable well organised way.

Just back from 20 wonderful days in Sri Lanka. All went as planned , our driver Sameera made the trip extra special .Sameera was safe ,informative and friendly.The hotels small great food and service. Travelled from beach to mountains to rain forest and wetlands , many birds and animals. We loved Sri Lanka sorry to leave.

My wife and I are just back from 5 weeks in Southern Africa. We flew to Namibia and travelled overland to Botswana and the Victoria Falls visiting both Zambia and Zimbabwe sides. We then flew to Cape Town and the garden route. We had used The Earth Trip last year for a trip to South America and were so impressed we booked again this year. Aleem proposed an itinerary and after a couple of iterations we had a wonderful trip planned. The trip was fantastic, as were the 3 guides we had. Everything went to plan and any minor snags were quickly and efficiently resolved. Everyone had our satisfaction at the centre of their thinking. I would highly recommend Aleem and the company to anyone thinking of visiting these amazing countries.

I initially watched a cookery demo and then met Aleem at a travel show in Manchester which sparked an interest in Sri Lanka. Decided to take the plunge and try a trip (very different for me). From our first contact, Aleem was amazing, took time to understand the sort of things we'd like and planned accordingly. For health reasons we had to cancel at the last minute and Aleem could not have been more helpful with our insurance claim. Once that was settled we rebooked the trip and, with his expert knowledge, Aleem tweaked the itinerary to suit the revised dates and season. The trip itself was amazing. We saw so much, did such a lot, ate some fabulous food, met lots of lovely people. Our driver/guide, Ushanka, was an absolute star with a great sense of humour and he personalised the trip still further for us. He was so knowledgeable that we also learnt so much about the culture, religion, wildlife and general way of life. We felt safe at all times and never had to worry about anything. The hotels were all different and amazing, mostly serving good Sri Lankan food. We really enjoyed the visits to families and the delicious food we tried there as well as the beautiful temples and seeing so many elephants. All in all an amazing and very special birthday trip and I will not hesitate to use The Earth Trip again or to recommend them to others. Thank you Aleem, Ushanka and co!

A lovely 2 week visit to southern Sri Lanka, organised by Aleem and with Sampath as an excellent driver and guide. From the mountains to the ocean we enjoyed marvellous experiences tailored to our requests. The accommodation was incredible in small boutique hotels. We were so well looked after. The Sri Lanka countryside and the animals were fascinating, elephants, huge monitor lizards, beautiful birds.
It was both a stimulating and relaxing experience. Lots to see and also time to chill at the beach in a beautiful boutique hotel with just 8 rooms. And a birthday dinner on the beach.

We went to Madagascar for our long-awaited honeymoon in September and October and were not disappointed. The Earth Trip and the local representatives Hanorah Travel were absolutely fantastic the whole way through, accommodating our requests to visit different places and change aspects of the itinerary. We flew into Antananarivo and then travelled around the southern part of the island, visiting a range of national parks including the southern spiny forest, the western deciduous forest and the eastern rainforest and were lucky enough to see 21 species of lemur, often very close, including the indri. Due to the time of year lots of the lemurs had babies which was fantastic. We also saw lots of rare birds and even the fossa.
We stayed in gorgeous hotels and lodges all the way through and had private drivers who were always so friendly and helpful. Everywhere we went people were so congratulatory about us being on our honeymoon and at the end when it was my birthday even arranged for a cake.
We had a few days in Mauritius and The Seychelles at the end which rounded off an amazing trip and we already can't wait to go back!

Wonderful trip to Southern Africa. Brilliant Cape Town to start, very drinkable wine in Franschhoek, luxurious train ride across the country, with Victoria falls and Kruger before relaxing on the coast in Mozambique. All went to plan and everything worked well. Thanks Aleem
