Shane Kao is extremely knowledgeable and was always available to answer any questions I had and I was kept up to date with regular emails from Chris Minter and the rest of the team.

Lisa Ellaway the adviser is clear, making complex principles easy to understand, and easy to follow options too. I've always been baffled by pensions but she explained to me what my current pensions were doing for me, where it could make sense to combine and implications of that. She also helped me see what my circumstances could be in future at different retirement ages. She answered all my questions and I feel completely reassured. I also have to mention the assistants at the firm who sent me regular update emails - one of my pension companies was very slow in sending them my pension info. Also have to say no hard sell! Again, I strongly recommend.

The process of transferring pension from a DB scheme to DC can be longer than expected and involves people from other companies.. after a few delays, with my pension advisor leaving Lisa became my new advisor and with her efforts the process was successful and completed.

It always felt that Lisa was putting as much pressure, if not more, that I was in getting the other companies involved in getting the process resolved.

Lisa is always quick to respond to any query I have and I am settled in my retirement now thanks to the staff at The Pension Planner and especially Lisa
