First of all they turn up unannounced putting scaffolding up blocking my sky dish leaving me with no TV signal for a week I called them only to be told "can't you just put up with it its only a week"
Then be messed around with so called "professional " workmen who should have started at 9am, they after waiting in all day for them turned up at 3pm to do 1 1/2 hours work then informed me "we're off now" and promised they'd be back tomorrow to finish the job by 12 they still hadn't turned up and in the end never showed up.
They finally complete the work a week later only to break several tiles on my roof with the scaffolding resulting in my roof leaking and causing £100s of damage to both my roof and the interior wall.
I emailed them they said can you send me pictures of the damage which I did waited a week followed this up with an email on the 10th of December no reply followed this up with another email in January and they still can't even be bothered to reply.
Worst company I have ever dealt with and will advise anyone NOT to use this company ever wish I never decided to go with them, disgusting customer service and just a joke all round avoid at all costs !!!!
You were contacted and even sent photographs as requested !!! So don't even bother trying to claim otherwise (I have emails for proof), and after that generic reply and blatant lack of acknowledgement just goes to show how poor of a company you really are.
In relation to your jobs sometimes going over please do not insult my intelligence, your so called "approved installers" turn up in a van that looks like it should have been disposed of 5 years ago where they then tell me the reason they arrived at 3pm instead of 9am like I was informed was because they'd broken down twice so please don't make out like they overrun on a other job.
And why the hell should I have to contact you, your the one in the wrong however I already have contacted you and left messages, emails and photographs to no reply !.
But don't worry il be telling anyone and everyone about my experience with "the best solar company".

We’re sorry to hear that you feel dissatisfied with your experience, and we would like to clarify a few points.
Scaffolding is erected in line with health and safety requirements and is necessary to allow our teams to carry out roof works safely. Scaffold installation forms part of the planned works schedule. We understand this can sometimes cause temporary inconvenience, such as affecting a satellite signal, but this would only be for the duration of the installation period and is not classed as damage.
With regard to attendance times, while we always aim to arrive at the scheduled time, installation work can occasionally be impacted by weather conditions, site complexities, or unavoidable overruns on earlier jobs. These factors can sometimes affect arrival times despite careful planning. We do, however, ensure that works are fully completed and signed off appropriately.
In relation to the concerns raised about roof tiles and internal damage, we take any allegation of damage seriously. Photographs were requested so that we could properly assess the matter and determine whether any remedial action was required. We have no record of a verified damage claim being declined or ignored. Any such claim would need to be assessed formally so that the cause can be established before responsibility is determined.
We hold the appropriate insurances and have clear procedures in place should any damage be proven to have resulted from our works.

Great service
Beth and Dylan have both really helped me with the installation of my battery system. There was a lot of back room work needed to be done to tie it in with my existing system and nothing was too much trouble. I have had to call since with a few queries and again everything has been resolved without issue. I am really grateful to them both and the rest of the team.

Just to clarify, your system has been up and running — when you first raised the issue, we contacted GivEnergy immediately and booked you in for an engineer visit on 30/11/2025, which unfortunately you cancelled. The next available date we were able to offer was 05/12/2025.
We sincerely apologise that our engineer was then unable to attend on that day — that’s on us, and we understand how frustrating that must have been.
Please rest assured we are prioritising your case, and we will get an engineer out to you as soon as possible to ensure everything is operating exactly as it should.

Our installation
Our installation was made difficult due to needing a replacement roof. Despite awful weather and an awkward neighbour, the roofers George and Tom worked like heroes. The panels worked okay, and we look forward to seeing lower bills.
The company staff were all helpful and pleasant.

This company start to ring me everyday and they never listen what I am saying, -they just talk and talk , when finally I got a chance to explain what I want they become upset and then rude
So I don’t know how they are good at installation other service, after sales etc
But the good thing is that they stop ringing and pushing and I had plenty of time to make great deal with another professional company

Great experience
Great experience from start to finish.
Was kept updated by Bethany throughout.
The scaffolding team were efficient and polite.
The fitting team were also efficient and polite, carrying out the installation in a neat, tidy and respectful way i felt sorry as the temp outside had dropped but we tried keeping them warm with coffee (cost a lot in sugar).
The whole process went like clockwork considering it was only 5 days from ordering to fitting.

I have a Fox ess Ep11 battery with the Warm stickers
I have a Fox ess Ep11 battery with the warm stickers on the battery case and on the cardboard delivery box.
As I understand it this means the battery has internal heaters fitted, which is what I understood I was buying!
I've just been told by UK Solar Experts that this is not the case, it is only the latest batteries that have heaters, mine does not.
I am not Happy.
I am happy to say that my battery heating problems have been solved, and with the latest app and firmware updates I can now see when the battery is heating with the app.
I also had network connection problems when I changed to Sky broadband, luckily I was able to sort out the problem my self.
There is a feature missing from my setup, how can I stop the battery from discharging at set times.
It would be great if I could add my solar panels and car charger to the setup, but they don't all talk the same language so it's not possible.

Thanks for your feedback, and I’m sorry for the confusion. The WARM sticker on the EP5 & EP11 isn’t an indicator of an internal heater — it simply identifies the standard UK model. Only the EP5-H & EP11-H have the internal heating system
The battery you received is the correct model that was quoted and ordered, and it matches the official Fox ESS specification.

People make the business
Everyone at UK Solar Experts and their partners have been great throughout the whole process. Everything was explained in detail, everything was followed up by a phone call, from shaking hands to install less than a week. After all the reviews read and friends telling me some horror stories, I kept waiting for something to go wrong, but nothing did. The team was great and I highly recommend them!

Had battery fitted last year all went…
Had battery fitted last year all went well, engineer and back of house team were great. Recently changed Wi-Fi and has problems getting back on to the app. Messaged Dylan and he sent videos did not work then asked Neil to call me to try and get me back online, still did not work. In the end Dylan arranged for a team who was working nearby to come and help!! I am now back online, thank you Dylan for your persistence.

UK Energy PV installation July 2025.
I invited a quote early in July and my system was installed within the month.
My first contact was with Olivia Walden, who passed me to Paul Fulthorpe, who then talked me very carefully and with infinite patience through the options and the technical aspects of the installation.
The installation, which commenced within a fortnight, was initially beset with problems totally outside UK Energy's control but Ashley, the panel installer, rose to the challenge and had the panels installed well within the day notwithstanding.
Guy, the electrician, turned up bright and early next morning to install and commission the battery and the inverter, which he completed with a work ethic which even exceeded Ashley's. Before departing he took the time to explain clearly and patiently how to operate the App. I am 73 so this took some time.
I have a background in construction but I have never seen two guys work so hard and so efficiently. Breathtaking
I've had contact subsequently with Dylan Glaucas and others regarding certificates and other paperwork, and in each case my questions have been swiftly and comprehensively answered.
I am pleased with the PV system itself, which seems to be performing in line with UK Energy's prospectus and suits my requirements very well; and I have nothing but praise for each of the company's personnel, with whom I have had contact.

Worst company out there . Got a quote told them no now every other day they bombard me with phone calls .you know the ones ,the silent ones .i have told them to stop so many times .so if that’s how they run their business I had a lucky escape not signing to these cowboys
