Just had solar panels
Just had solar panels, inverter and battery fitted. Very neat and professional installation by Richard, Richard and Brad. These guys were very polite and worked very hard. Bethany and Dylan also very helpful whenever we spoke to them.

What a great bunch of people. Paul was amazing ( don’t forget to call me for a night out).
The fitters are great lads. Friendly,efficient and respectful.
As soon as battery was connected we started saving money.
The office staff take care of everything if you do need to change supplier.

Scammers. Wouldn’t stop sending messages despite me saying I wanted nothing from them and then tried to charge me for things I’d never had installed. They never even visited my home to install anything. Used my info to find personal details I had not given them also.

My experience with UK Solar Experts was extremely good. The administration team Bethany and Dylan was very helpful and kept me informed about the installation. The day of the installation Ben and Frankie arrived and were very friendly they explained what they were going to be doing on the installation and the best place to put the batteries and the inverter. During the day they kept me informed how everything was going. They worked very hard all day and installed 20 pv panels an inverter and batteries they finished at 2130 hrs that day with everything working they are a credit to UK Solar Experts can’t thank them enough. If you are looking to have Solar on your property l recommend 100% UK Solar Experts

Excellent Solar PV System - Top Professional Company
If you want a stress free, efficient and professional solar installation, these are the guys you should consider.
I came across them on the web and within a couple of hours of applying, I was contacted (I think by Dylan) for an initial pre-consultation chat before having the formal consultation, arranged with Paul for the next day.
Paul, via a video link, delivered an exceptionally detailed and interesting presentation, which lasted over two hours. He concluded with a fixed price quote. Normally, I don’t make impulsive decisions but after a five minutes chat with my wife, we decided to go with it and agreed dates for the installation to proceed.
The process then moved to Bethany who looked after us for the pre-installation admin stage, dealing with the works contract and clearly setting out all the necessary pre-installation information, required by the team.
On site, the work proceeded without any problems. The scaffold team erected and dismantled the scaffold on the agreed dates, on time and efficiently. The engineers, Ben and Frankie, were great and delivered an outstanding job, despite the unseasonably damp weather conditions and not finishing until well after 6.30pm.
The post-installation admin transferred to Dylan. He reassured us that UK Solar Experts were bringing together all the necessary documentation and certificates for the customer installation package, and dealing with the application to UK Power Networks for selling back power to the grid. Once matters were in place, he would advise on suitable energy suppliers to maximise my system benefits.
It is said, “team work makes the dream work” …and this was certainly the case. The UK Solar Experts team performed admirably.

Unbelievably hard working crew
We had a team made up of Drew, George, Tom and Tom. They worked tirelessly through out the days they were here, finishing only when it became too dark to continue. Drank lots of tea and went above and beyond to get the job done. To order and have 22 panels and battery installed and working within a week is unbelievable. First day of 0kW grid use after an annual consumption in excess of 7500kW was mind blowing.

Not a good experience I'm afraid...
Not a good experience I'm afraid having a 10.3KW solar, with a 8KW GivEnergy inverter, 13.6KWh battery installed. All was good with the scaffolding and fitting the solar panels. The electrician fitted everything neatly but was very messy. He didn't use dust sheets anywhere, so there was brick dust everywhere inside and out, bits of wire, rawl plugs, plug covers, cable clips, etc all just left for us to clear up. So every electrical box, clip, wire outside had to be brushed off and wiped down, and the floors inside and out had to be vacuumed and washed.
We had a text saying the system had been commissioned successfully after the electrician had left, but the system wasn't working. Having phoned the electrician and UK Solar Experts many times that evening, and the following day, the system still wasn't working having turned the CT coil clip round the opposite way, as requested. Anyway, it was assumed to be one of the 'bad batch' of units that were installed.
6 days later an engineer was scheduled to arrive and swap out units, but another engineer suspected another problem - the CT coil clip being clipped around the wrong cable. He was right - the engineer put it around completely the wrong cable altogether.
I'd forgotten the engineer asked if he could borrow a hack saw as he didn't have one - I didn't have one either so I don't know how he managed to finish the job....anyway...
It is now working (at long last) but doesn't seem to be generating as much power in full sunlight as I was expecting - the most being 5.3KW.
After several weeks we're still waiting on the G99 certificates and the DNO's OK on the amount we can feed to the grid (6.5KW apparently) to be able to start earning some money. Fingers crossed it will be soon as time is money...

I booked a quote with Dylan, who arranged a Teams call with Paul. Paul was very knowledgeable and made everything clear, giving us confidence to go ahead. The scaffolding and installation teams worked efficiently and completed the job to a high standard, though communication about arrival times could’ve been better.
We weren’t told it could take up to eight weeks to receive the certificates needed for our energy company and have had to chase these up ourselves. Paul also mentioned a £100 restaurant voucher, which we’re still waiting on.
Overall, the service was professional, the team was helpful, and the installation went smoothly. Despite a few small hiccups, I’d definitely recommend this company.

Great at first with the salesman
Great at first with the salesman, promise you everything rosey until you sign the contract, then it all goes down the hill.
Poor planning - No pre-install visit to ascertain where equipment should go prior to installation
unnecessary delays - installer shows up and forgot what they needed to come with, went away for more than 2hours, came back to say they cannot complete it, it has to be rescheduled.
poor communication - customer get booked for install without been informed. Installer shows up at my resident unannounced.I have been the one filling up the gap, calling UKSE to report what’s happening (terrible )
No sincerity or consideration for the customer - they rather lie to you than been sincere. Is okay to say there will be a delay on some items for your install, we are sorry for the inconvenience and we will compensate you or it wouldn’t happen again.
An install promised to take 5hours, took 7days within a month, after agreeing to take off the install if not completed on the 7th day. You fight your way through everything,
No proper complaint channel. when you call to complain, they try to talk over you. Read the negative reviews, you understand.
Mine was a bad experience, I hope someone learns from it.

Brilliant Solar Experts…
From start to finish UK Solar Experts have been fantastic. The initial consultation was thorough and I was provided with an instant quote for the recommended system. The system was scoped to take into account my future needs.
Communication was easy, either by phone or email. I would receive a response to questions within 24hrs.
On the day of the installation the engineer arrived on time. He took me through a number of installation options and shared his recommendation with a reason why. His work was neat with minimal disruption to the building's fabric.
He explained the system, got me set up on the app, tidied up and left.
Head office called to take me through the next steps to obtain the necessary certificates and how to maximise the system benefits.
Absolutely brilliant!!
