Very good experience

I can’t express enough how good the service was by the staff in the E bike showroom, very warm and welcoming.
I told them what I was looking for and they run me through various options and explained everything very well.
I will definitely be going back there and would most certainly recommend anyone to go there.

Uprise Bikes emailed to warn me of the uncertain supply of my ordered product. However within just a few days the product was delivered to my door. I appreciated being kept up to date with the supply problem and the ordered cap arrived in time for Christmas and as expected, is of great quality. The only skull cap we've found that fits my husband's head!

Tom and the crew was very friendly. Wasn't sure what bike to get. I ask a lot of questions and Tom was very knowledgeable. Tom show me around the shop to what was in my price range on Saturday. Came back on Monday and walk out with a really good spec bike (highly recommended) thanks again

I returned a Bike as not fit for…

I returned a Bike as not fit for Journey, and under Powered on hills,Was charged £411 for doing 9 miles and no mention off anything on returns policy,As charged 12% as bike classed as used now and noticed no milage put down on paperwork on buying,Was told on phone a maximum off 2 miles on test rides and wouldn't state that on e-mails or messages,tried calling shop and customer services and offered another £1000 to upgrade to full suspension and spending about £5000 and still charged,No help and taking business else were now as Need a bike and looks like, I will be as well very soon as great selection and itching to get something now,happy biking everyone

Good afternoon, I'm very sorry to read of your experience. I've followed up with our aftersales team on this one and know that a number of members of staff here have looked into this issue for you to try and find a resolution. Ultimately there is little we can do due to the mileage that was put on the bike which had devalued it as a used bike. I fully appreciate your frustration on the issue and completely understand but I can assure you that the team did all they could to try and find a solution on this for you.

The Feeling of Being Fibbed off

The advisor at UBikes - when messaged - was unable to provide guidance about adjusting the handle bar height.

Best bike shop in Wales, maybe even the UK

Wanted to get a bike for Xmas for my son and ended up buying one aswell. Dealt with a gentleman called Paul both times, once when deciding what bikes to get and the second when picking them up.

Paul showed great knowledge, patience and understanding of what would suit are needs so we could all be happy with our final decisions. Such a smooth experience and pleasure to deal with from start to finish.

Another thing I noticed was how welcoming the whole Uprise team were with every customer. It was like one big family. No pressure or sales tactics, just pure love of the industry.

excellent service

This is the second electric bike we've bought from uprise bikes and once again received excellent service. From ordering on a Sunday to receiving the bike on the Wednesday there was good communication. Again the final assembly aligning the handlebars and putting the pedals on was very straightforward.

Absolutely fantastic service

Absolutely fantastic website. I bought the Fox race frame for my sons birthday. The delivery was so fast, and communication was perfect, I knew exactly when it was going to be delivered, thanks to regular updates. The price was better than pretty much anywhere else on Google, 1st class service. Don't hesitate, to buy from here, with complete peace of mind. Thank you Uprise!. Il be back to buy again shortly.

A review of Uprise Cycles & the Merida Crossway 300 Bike

On purchasing my ladies Merida Crossway 300 online at Uprise Cycles for £875 on Friday lunchtime ( for my wife's birthday) I recieved an email that afternoon at 3pm saying it has been packed & dispatched to FedEx for delivery on the following Monday afternoon!
Communication from FedEx & Uprise was superb & I recieved my new bike ready for my wife's birthday!
The bike was very well packed & the speed of delivery was impressive. The Merida Crossway 300 is an expensive bike (£875) but it is packed with very high quality components, you'll love it!

Still no bike 3 weeks later

3 weeks and still no bike, resolution or refund.

Cycle solutions / uprise bikes are the same company. Rebranded from the awful cycle solutions doesn't mean the company and practices have changed.

Placed an order through cycle to Work scheme. Received a defective bike which was dangerous and not road worthy. Brakes completely not working and the threadding holding the front brakes to the fork was gone. Nathan agrees to send out a replacement bike as soon as faulty bike is collected.

Fedex do not turn up on scheduled day. Waste another day using family to stay in. Bike is finally collected but Nathan says to wait until bike arrives. 4 days later still no update from Nathan other than still waiting for the bike to arrive with him.

I call up speak to Sam. I then get told due to my bike being discounted originally they'll no longer honour the replacement bike but a repair with no clear time limit. Speak to bike manufacturer and make me aware they dont have replacement parts available.

Send an email to Nathan, he doesnt have the courage to reply back for delivering a terrible service. Escalate to a complaint but guess what, its the same team that deal with complaints and doesnt go higher. Now awaiting a cancellation.

Good afternoon, I am sorry to read of your experience and appreciate that the issue must have been frustrating.

Just to pick up on your first point, Uprise Bikes is the retail side of operations, the cycle to work scheme will always be Cycle Solutions.

I have followed up with the team on your behalf and it seems the issue here was that the bike ordered was a unique, nearly-new bike sourced by yourself directly from the manufacturer. As this is an extremely uncommon practice the team did not realise this until the bike was returned to us. That's why in this instance, it was impossible to replace the bike as the pricing offered was based on it being a one-off bike which made our options for resolving this extremely limited, especially as the manufacturer was not able to source parts for repair which we would happily have done. That being said, I would still like to offer my apologies for the confusion in your initial discussion with the aftersales team as regardless of the reasons behind it, I fully appreciate your frustration that ultimately you weren't able to get the bike that you wanted through the cycle to work scheme.

I know that the team looked into any possible channels to fix this for you and had it not been such a unique set of circumstances I'm sure we could have got this done but we are equally disappointed that on this occasion we were not able to find a satisfactory resolution.

AM Flow Carbon

I purchased the am flow from uprise bikes online, communication and service was absolutely amazing and the after sales is just another level after developing an issue with my touch screen I contacted the guys for some advice and had a immediate reply offering to courier the bike to them and even taking care of the packing. Mercedes and all the big manufacturers could learn a thing or too from uprise and am flow completely blown away with the levels of customer service with a new screen on its way with no issues!

I really can’t thank Jamie and the guys at uprise bikes at Swansea for the level of service given Five stars 🌟
