Outstanding service from start to finish
Recently had two sofas delivered from Utility and couldn’t be happier. The staff were brilliant; giving advice on the materials, colours and where to position the sofas. There were regular updates on delivery timescales and the Utility guys who delivered and set up the furniture were courteous and careful. If you are looking for modern, contemporary furniture I would highly recommend you try Utility.

Quick and helpful for extra fixtures
I need a few fixtures for items I had bought a few years ago. I used the online chat and they were super quick to respond, they had the items I needed and offered to send them out next day (as it happened I was going past the warehouse so I collected, also super easy to do and they took off delivery fee). Love utility!

Brilliant independent shop
I’ve ordered from Utility a couple of times and love the brands and products they sell. With my most recent order there were a couple of issues but the customer service team were brilliant and sorted it right away. I will definitely be ordering more things!

Everything amazing..except for…
Everything amazing..except for delivery. The driver left pallet and big box in between two cars, two houses down. Refused to take the pallet or provide a reason why he was leaving it there. You might want to reconsider delivery services, the quality of your products deserves better

Hello Teresa - I'm sorry to read this review, especially when the rating has been assessed on our third party delivery company Palletways. Having looked at your order I can see delivery was free on this order. Palletways only offer a kerbside delivery service on a pallet. This keeps the delivery costs down or free for you as a customer. We do this as invariably nobody likes paying for delivery. As you live on a road with cars parked either side Palletways will only drop on the kerbside where they reasonably can without blocking the road and being nearest to your property. The team here did email regarding this and setting out the nature of the delivery on 31st March. If we were to offer a full installation service on this order this would have been in the region of £150 and we simply do not have enough margin to absorb this cost as well as the 20% off on the item during the time your purchased. I do hope you understand but in the meantime hope you love the bench and any frustration is short lived.

From my initial enquiry to the delivery, I always had a quick, friendly and professional response. We are so delighted with our Montana Save Sideboard. The choice of colours allowed us to very closely match to an existing piece of furniture. Couldn’t be happier with the service and furniture.

Excellent customer service, my query was answered and resolved quickly. Delivery was fast and the glasses I ordered arrived well packaged.
I would highly recommend Utility Design and I will be shopping with them again.

Fantastic experience from beginning to end. Delivery date was not convenient so team accommodated later date without fuss. Lovely staff. Bought beautiful glass water carafe with stopper. Well packed and great delivery. Will use company again.

Order took far too long to arrive and…
Order took far too long to arrive and when it did the wrong products were delivered. A complete waste of time.
I received a response which was factually incorrect. New lights have not been ordered. Our order has been cancelled and we await an immediate refund.

Shocking
I wish it was possible to give 0 stars!! Ordered and selected the option of royal mail 48hour tracked delivery, received no email from royal mail and have still not received the parcel almost a month later! Correspondence is ongoing and have still not received a refund the customer service is poor and I will not be ordering from here again and would encourage others to avoid also.

Hello Jess - I have just left you a voicemail. Naturally we are always disappointed to receive negative reviews, especially when we have been judged on Royal Mail's performance in this instance. As the correspondence from Lois explained the item we sent was lost by Royal Mail (despite being sent by us on 16th January) and, under their regulations for declaration of loss and replacement/ compensation, they request 30 days to allow the parcel to be delivered in the event it may have been mislaid or misrouted.
This turned up back in our warehouse from them this afternoon and on receipt we issued you with a refund as you had requested. Can you please check your junk mail as you were emailed a copy of the refund confirmation before we received your review?
