I took a taxi and paid £13.90 pounds for a 18.1 journey miles. However, after 1 mile I had to go back home and abandon the journey and Veezu customer seevice said because I prepaid I could not get a refund so I paid 13.90 for a 5 minutes ride that would normally be 20 minutes. The Customers service team said because they arr partnering with private drivers they cant issue a refund. What a joke.
Robbers
I am absolutely disgusted with this company. I have nothing against people's religion nor their hobbies but why am I being made to wait half an hour for a car because the drivers are at the mosque or that I'm being charged £2 extra to come home from work because of the World Cup. I really wanted to use a company other than uber and the first trip was fine came in a couple of minutes was pleasant, I thought yes finally found a reliable taxi firm just as quick as uber however 3 further chances I have then waited 20 minutes to 45 minutes for a taxi and all they can say is sorry which doesnt get me to where I need to be. Using taxis for work I am on a time frame even ten minutes can feel a long time but 20 minutes I cant afford to wait around that long. When u can start getting taxis to people within ten minutes let me know ill give you another try but for now I have to stick with Uber. Gutted.

Veezu have been terrible to me. They have been taking money from my account without my consent. They also been over charging their services for shorter distances. Charging me x3 off my fair. I have now started my process of investigations. Dont share your account details with them. I have had a traumatic experience.

After ringing 2 local taxi firms who were unable to provide a taxi due to it being school run time, Veezu did, arrived on time, great communication, lovely driver. I stupidly dropped my work identity card in the taxi, I rang Veezu, the lovely lady said she would contact the driver... 25 minutes later...the driver came to my work to drop it off for me. I was so grateful & very relieved. Thanks 🙏

Continued awful experiences. Go cars was brilliant; since they switched to this cowboy outfit I will be sticking with Uber. Atrocious.
NEVER BOOK A VEEZU TAXI
Booked a Veezu taxi on afternoon 28/6/2026 to collect me on 29/6/2026 at 11.45 for an urgent hospital appointment.
At 11.40 on 29/6/2026 no contact from Veezu, so rang them for update. They confirmed booking, but said no drivers were available and did not know when a car would be arriving, although the booking was made the previous day.
It is now 17.15 on 29/6/2026 and I have had no contact from Veezu in any form whatsoever, which shows how awfully run this company is and the contempt they show for customers.
I have used them in the past and they were ok, but they are now a load of RUBBISH.
If you need a taxi DO NOT EVER CALL VEEZU as it is guaranteed they will let you down big time.
Absolute disgrace
Absolute disgrace. On 31st March booked journey and return for an event on 28th June. Reconfirmed the booking on 22nd June and received an email confirming all the details. Taxi did not arrive and when I called they could not tell me when they could get to me. Completely ruined my event.
First time used Veezu, disappointed. Never again.
First time used Veezu, reserved taxi to get home from train station, they cancelled the ride 15mins before we arrived by train. Will not use them again. Unreliable, false advertising and no regard for people being left stranded on a Sunday.
Don’t use
Booked taxi 4 days in advance. Taxi never arrived called them and they said a car was on their way about 10 minutes. Taxi never arrived called again to cancel and booked with someone else.
Luckily we had a bit of time but if it was for an appointment we would have been stuck. Wouldn’t use again or recommend

Booked a week ago for a taxi to take us to dinner for our anniversary.
On the day, the taxi app was still saying that they were trying to find a car....10 minutes after the pickup time.
Cancelled the taxi and drove myself....how ruin the start of a celebration

Charged me 3 times for 2 journeys. promised refund - never got it. Dangerous vehicles and drivers. Journey 1, car seats not secure. Journey 2 driver using 2 mobile phones while driving.

I wish I could give zero stars. The driver was not helpful. Old lady with 4 bags including suitcase. Did not help. Told me had no idea where we were going. I had to get phone out for postcode and still he argued the store did not exist. Even when I was pointing at it. Worst cab ride ever and because of stress I didn’t zip my bad and phone fell out and got left phone
in car. They were not answering phone during the hours I was in Bristol. Had to go to Vodaphone to block that phone and get replacement SIM. Now I am not in Bristol and they are having difficulty in finding out how to get phone to me, absolute njghtmare.

Do not rely on Veezu to get you to your destination on time
Booked a car to take me to Bridgend train station in good time to catch my train. Very straightforward booking process sadly let down by car disappearing one minute before it was due to arrive. Called and given some implausible rubbish about no-show and told I was a priority. Waited 10 mins and no car had been allocated so called again. Car was allocated and turned up. 10 minutes later Driver Keith was great and had a lovely well kept car. He did his best to get me to the station in time but I missed the train by a couple of minutes.
I have had a couple of similar experiences with Veezu so I am deleting the app and adding the local taxi companies who have much higher ratings to my contacts list.
Dreadful service
Dreadful service, pre-booked taxi didn’t show up.
SCAMERS.
1. Phoned to find out how much told 42 each way
2. Went on the app to book was 55.30 each way the app charged me twice and booked no taxis despite charging me
3. Since no taxis got booked I called to tell them it charged me and to book them. they said yes
4. Had to spend about 20 mins on the phone explains the street names to the person very slowly because she didn't speak English well but she seemed to get it all booked
5. Turns out she booked the taxi for that night at 12pm instead of tomorrow at 12pm which would be before we even left to the event in the original taxi there so makes no sense
6. Get woken up in the middle of the night by the veezu driver calling me
7. In the morning call.to.change the taxi to 11.30pm but the incompetent fool on the phone either doesn't change it or changes it to a completely different night
7. Get the correct taxi there but they tell me in the taxi I have to pay again even when the app had already made me pay 55.3 twice
8. This man asks for over 59 pounds
9. Pay the man and think it's okay will deal with this tomorrow
10. Am waiting for the taxi to get back but it's not coming so I call veexu where they informed me it's booked for the next night
11. Tell them to send a taxi right now
12. They send a taxi over an hour away from London
13. This taxi also charges me another 46 pounds after being stranded for 1.5 hours by veezu.
To conclude: charged 4 times by veezu, app didn't work, phone operators booked the wrong thing 3 times, left stranded for over an hour literally in the middle of the night
