Pathetic service and attitude

Booked a taxi more than a day in advance . For 2-3 mins drive to the Norwich train station . The Veezu app was showing ETA 2-3 mins after the time I booked it . Then it became 7-8 mins , then 15 mins . And after 15 mins it was showing ETA 8 mins .
I ordered UBER, within 2 mins I had a taxi . Being disable I don’t need the extra stress that you have caused me.

I talked to veezu manager on the phone , originally he told me that they have 10 mins window to turn up by the time it was booked . Then he changed his mind and said that our t&c say book 1 hour in advance if you go to the train station.
I will never be using veezu ever again . You lost 2 different customers as my partner is using you as well.
BRING ABC back , I was a loyal customer to them .

Absolutely diabolical

Absolutely diabolical. I pre-booked a taxi to collect me from a music festival in Leeds. I was meeting friends there but I know I’d be getting a taxi home by myself so, as a woman, I thought the safest thing would be to pre-book a taxi so I wasn’t waiting around by myself in the dark having had a few drinks. Taxi booked for 11.40pm. Didn’t show. Called Veezu dozens of times and each time they said it would be with me shortly but couldn’t give me the registration number or drivers name. I had pre-paid for the taxi so I didn’t want to cancel. Veezu were aware I was a woman by myself. Eventually, after nearly a hour and a half of being fobbed off, and having found my self completely alone on the road at 1am I ordered an uber, which arrived within 3 mins, and cancelled the Veezu taxi. Do not use the pre-booking service with this taxi firm. In fact I’d just not use them full-stop. They consistently lied to me and left me in a very vulnerable and dangerous situation. And now I have to wait 5 days to be refunded as well - that’s if they even do refund me! AVOID THIS TAXI FIRM.

Unreliable

Unreliable. Unprofessional. Uninterested. No matter how far you 'book' in advance, all you are doing is putting in a request Veezu send to freelance drivers 20 minutes before you need the ride. If the drivers aren't interested there is NOTHING Veezu can do. Your plans will be ruined. Cares given by Veezu = less than Zero.

At best you are giving yourself a chance that someone may turn up at sonepoint

Dreadful company

Dreadful company. If I could have left 0 stars I would have!
Prebooked and paid for an 8 seater vehicle to the airport and it never arrived! When I called for an explanation, they told me the vehicle was still at the airport with another fare!
Awful communication and customer service - I will never use this company again.
DO NOT USE VEEZU!

Dreadful

Dreadful. Booked a taxi to go to the station, leaving plenty of time before our train. Taxi was late. Phoned Veezu, who assured us he would be there in a few minutes. Their app indicated he was 4 minutes away. 15 minutes later, still no show. Phoned again, given the same lies.
The driver finally arrived over 40 minutes late - meaning we missed our train and our slot at the Frameless exhibition in London. The driver had been sent on another job, 5 minutes after our pick up time.
Veezu were not interested when I complained, taking no responsibility for the appalling lack of service. My advice - avoid like the plague…

prebooked my taxi and paid only to be randomly charged again 2 days later the same amount when asked why over the phone i was told to fill out a form all for me to never get a refund date, dont use the app use cash, they abuse your trust.

Terrible service often late then…

Terrible service often late then drivers try to rip you of charging more than the extortionate fare. £14.80 for 4 miles at 11pm so I called them fare was still an unbelievable £12.80 disgraceful monopoly hate them!

Today

Today I booked, the taxi accepted and was 1 minute round the corner. Tell me why 10 minutes later this guy didn't show up....................called a different taxi company and although I had to pay a bit more, they were there in 5 minutes and I was home in 20 minutes

I've had taxis cancelled because I've had my cat in a carrier coming from the vets. I do put a note on there before they accept the fare
The guys that do show up are fine with the cat in carrier

I've had heavy cat litter in the taxi and been helped out, which is great

It's just not consistent enough

The times are saying one thing when you look on the app, come time to book it's suddenly completely different

Won't be using again

Very poor. I booked a taxi to the train station…

I booked a taxi to the train station allowing 30min spare thinking I d get coffee etc. This was 3 days before in advance.The taxi did not turn up. When I rang she said there were no drivers. But then on the app it said driver en route 2 min, I thought I d make it! This was a fabrication the pick up time kept changing. I missed train and had to buy a new £70 ticket to London. If they can't make pick ups to stations they could at least let you know. It was with 3 days notice. Very poor.

Dreadful

Dreadful, driver 10 minutes late then insisted on wasting for more time putting post code in a journey 2.5 miles up the road. Repeatedly putting in wrong postcode. Arrived late for appointment and paid £9.00 for a charge quoted at £5.00 seems to be a common practice, customer service dreadful. Won’t be using again. Avoid

Unreliable tariffs

I use Veezu Newport, they turn up in reasonable time BUT some drivers charge different (higher) prices for the same journey. Same distance, same time of day - costs can change by £2 - 3 depending on the driver. They don't all take card and not all of them have a visible meter to check costs.

Stranded for 2 hours waiting outside…

Stranded for 2 hours waiting outside Waitrose Cambridge. 8 taxis got the job and all 8 taxis cancelled by the drivers. I have dissabilities and couldn't walk the 3 miles home.

Veezu Cambridge staff, are some if not the worst I have ever dealt with.

Called another cab firm, turned up 10 mins and I was home, NO thanks to Veezu. SHAME on you.

Day light robber treat their driver like slaves

Very disappointed with Veezu. The company keeps introducing new policies, rules, and fare changes without properly consulting either drivers or customers. Drivers are the backbone of the business, yet their views seem to be completely ignored.

Recently, the commission/rent was increased from 13% to 20% without meaningful consultation. At a time when drivers are already facing rising fuel, insurance, and vehicle costs, this places even more financial pressure on them.

Communication from management is poor, and many of the people making these decisions appear to have little understanding of the realities of the taxi trade. Changes are implemented with little notice, creating confusion for both drivers and passengers.

Many drivers feel they are treated as numbers rather than valued partners. Without drivers, there is no taxi company, and management should start listening to the people who keep the business running every day.

I hope Veezu reviews its approach, consults drivers before making major decisions, and shows more respect for the workforce that supports its success.

Pre-Booked a taxi to the train station 24 hours in advance. At pickup time no driver arrived and app just kept searching for available drivers. What is the use of an app that does not correctly implement pre-bookings?!? Customer support was non-existent and I was told that “Veezu can hold no responsibility for this. Our terms and conditions of service are linked in all booking confirmations and available on the app.”

Awful since City Taxis was taken over

Use this company regularly in Sheffield and unfortunately am almost always disappointed. The original company, City Taxis, were fine, but since they've been taken over they've turned into money grabbing inefficient idiots. I have pets which I have to take regularly to appointments with a vet in Killamarsh, and the fare is usually about £14, which is fair enough, but today I was told the fare had been preset at nearly £20, which I had no choice but to pay as I had a sick animal who needed veterinary care. No explanation for this. I will also say that most of the drivers who take me or pick me up from the vets treat me as if I'm some sort of freak because I have an animal with me; I'd just like to say I resent this very deeply. If they don't want to deal with animal lovers, they can go without my business and my regular fares. If you live in Sheffield and there's absolutely ANY way you can get to where you need to go without using this awful company, please try!

Specifically in Sheffield

Specifically in Sheffield. Some,and I stress some, drivers are abusive and aggressive to other road users. Only this morning, I got beeped and shouted at by one driver in Sheffield because I didn't move up one millisecond after the car in front moved
They then continued to follow me very closely to intimate me. This isn't my first instance with an aggressive driver, avoid them on Sheffield roads at all costs.

Veezu

Have always used Veezu in Doncaster and Sheffield,nearly always pay cash and have never had a problem in fact I would have given them 5stars ,week before last and due to my own fault had to spend £70 in one day and driver was brilliant,phoned to book again for hospital appointment for my mother asked to pay cash and was told they couldn’t be sure that driver would be on time as I was not paying on their link ,told them I will never use them again and promptly booked another firm
